Maduawuchukwu: Senior man is there something we can do to stop this thing from continuing? It began as a joke and is becoming something else. Every single thread is nw an avenue for tribal insults. So much we would have learnt from educative thread has been lost. I thought I was too igbo-centric until I so the rubbish spilled on Nairaland. Can we summon a meeting of the most influential commentators in this Nairaland to a thread where we can talk? I believe if we can convince the egg-heads of Nairaland to unanimously condemn the "extreme tribal posters" whenever they come with their rubbish It will discourage it overtime. What do u think? The tribalism has eaten deep in this forum and I don't know which contribution can ease this shameless attitude. I don't want to be too forward as I believe the owner need to take more strategic steps to end this madness. Omenkalives and other well meaning Nlanders have once consulted people in this forum to have cease fire truce for this same issue but guess what they were bashed. I don't know what can really stop this. |

Just look at how Hatred and tribalism brewed in this thread. So many deleted comments yet peeps don't want to give up hence throwing jibes at each other continuously.
Honestly the ethnic tribes ( most especially SW and SE) bashing each other should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves. I am not surprise since they are kids still being spoon fed by their parents and grandparents as well. |

kayzat: As much as I believe Ambode is trying his best and working tirelessly to improve the infrastructures in this state , I don't subscribe to this pattern of politics.
The road is clearly a FG road and he will just have to wait till approval is given irrespective of who the current minister is. Fashola can't just sign off all the FG roads to the state because he was once a former Governor of Lagos . The work going on in Abule-egba is on FG property and it must have been approved by this same Fashola.
Ambode should please follow the due process and concentrate his energy and available resources on other projects pending the approval on this particular road. You have spoken well. |

Crime › Re: Yoruba And Hausa Clash In Ile-Ife, 5 Feared Dead (Graphic Photos) by wristbangle: 6:47pm On Mar 08, 2017 |
MMMscam: Calling them brutal would be a benign compliment. They are the real Yoruba demons. Ife indigenes might be friendly outwardly, but inwardly they are vengeful unforgiving no-nonsense systemically evil people. Many of them are descendants of the ancestral devilish warlords of the old order. After they fight physical, they will fight spiritual and even though a truce is called, they won't stop until they are satisfied with whatever punishment they have decided to mete out. They are organized silent destroyers. The 5 most deadly Yoruba clans you should never mess with are the pagan clans of Ife, Modakeke, Abeokuta, Ijebu Ode and Ibadan. They will finish you anyhow it takes and sacrifice you and your generations to their demons. Ife people still do human sacrifice till today, and they don't use indigenes. If a Yoruba from another clan is not 100% safe in Ife, how much more the outsiders like Chukwudi and Abdulai? They will feed you to their river goddesses for lunch. I'd advise any non-indigene in that area to take extra safety precautions now and stay sharp. Ife indigenes pagan population are demons. I pity anyone who wakes them up from slumber. You know the in depth of real yoruba demons. Toiling with these set of yoruba clans is really dangerous even though they are so friendly on outward appearance. |

RaptorX: Funny that all this pained Ipob youths want to desperately feel that Yorubas bears the brunt of the clash when news coming out of Ile Ife shows Hausas getting slaughtered and we're only saved by the security forces. Why do you people wish so much evil on my people and you have to be really stupid to think any other ethnic group can run Yorubas out of the ancient town of Ile Ife. My brother, Na the true yan be this but some people are tagging me a tribal bigot. I feel pity for the lives lost. Violence is not the way but Hausa went too far with the Ife peeps. Those guys blood dey quickly hot. |

AtlanticBreeze: From what I'm seeing here, the hausa boys set ile ife on fire literally.. where is opc? what is going on? Wrong! Yes some shops belonging to yoruba was burnt ( few) but not as severe as Hausa casualties where they were burnt alive, several of their shops burnt, including a mosque with Hausas in it. |

RadicalP: did u not read where it was written, that Tue Yoruba mob wanted to scatter sabo, but being blocked by security, attacked ppl in lagers instead? Doesn't it show who was on the offensive??! Kindly ignore them bro. They want to be on the laughing side not knowing Ife youths are very offensive to tackle. They severely dealt with those Hausa people. Burnt a whole mosque with lot of Hausa people in it, burnt their shops and even roast some of them like suya. Violence is never the way. I pray peace returns fully to that side of the town |
