lolawilliams: No more champions league for england teams There is still going to be champion's league for them because UEFA recognises UK as part of Europe but the adverse effect will be buying Non british players will cost premiership team more and the cost to acquire their british players will be less. This in return will reduce competitiveness in English football among their European elites |

heykims: Those making comparison Did those that spearheaded the campaign antagonize or blackmail d reigning govt? Do they have a 'Biafra' radio that primarily specialises in blackmailing d country Is their 'Kanu' foreign based who sneaked into d country in a criminal manner? Did d agitators of secesion call d UK a zoo? Was their 'Buhari' insulted by d campaigners of secession? Answer those questions and compare approaches
The reason why I'm always against this call for Biafra is just coz they were silent all through GEJ's tenure only to surface when power left the southern region.. God bless u. |

Adminisher: Currency crashing means investors will rush in. They want to regain back their manufacturing edge. Europe has many stringent rules for too many things and the size of the Euro zone market is not even up to the Commonwealth. India is now in a very powerful position with respect to the UK. Second is Nigeria. It is good NEWS for young Nigerians and Indians. Our graduates will flood their health, social welfare and IT sectors. At the bolded, I will not fully agree to it. Yes Indians are superpower in medical and few sectors to mention yet their citizens live in abject poverty maybe due to their corrupt leadership, I can't say for now. Please can u elaborate more on the italics. |

henryadex: The currency has started rising up after the announcement, it is crrently at 2008 low and it is jumping back it eas the news that shook it. The current price of GPB/USD is 1.3930 and GPB/JPY is 143.29 as i am typing. Britain is wise they will always maneuver their way Bro, live on CNN I am seeing a contrary report. Where is this source of your claim? |

Snwokenk: The Brits will survive. This doom and gloom was just a ploy to scare people into remaining with the EU.
Now Nigeria should have a referendum of self determination Yes at the bolded but in a diplomatic and peaceful way just like the way they did. Those calling for referendum in Nigeria are not doing it the right way. |

This decision will definitely have merits and demerits.
To me, seems the demerits may be more: Their currency has crashed to all low in 31years and there is tendency it will depreciate more after this decision. Also it may discourage foreign investors frm investing in the country. Football arm will no doubt be affected. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: UK Votes To Leave The European Union by wristbangle: 8:38am On Jun 24, 2016 |
Candyrain: UK is still in Europe, just dat they are no longer a member of EU. So dat means they'll still participate in what happens in Europe. There are some countries dat are not members of EU but they participate in champions league. Turkey is not a member but Fenerbache do participate in the competition.
So EPL will always be well represented in the competition. It's not about participation in CL. EPL will become less desirable because it will cost them more to buy players from EU countries and their worth (clubs and players) will be less. |

Hmmm with this development, Britain economy should brace up for tough times ahead of which their uncertainty is yet to be known. Foreign EU investors will pull out, EU elites will pull their citizen away from their schools, even the prize to buy an EU football player will become more expensive and their players, clubs value will depreciate. The pounds currency has fallen to all time low in 31years and will further depreciate.
The merit aspect of it is security wise, encouragement of local citizen to investment and with time (only God knows) will stabilise the economy. |
