Comparing SE and SW regions, SE have small land mass which makes it look like is more developed with resources to go round for infrastructural development. They also have high population whom are business artisans and that facilitates/fast tracks housing projects.

SW possess big land mass which little resources to go round(ofcourse we need to bear in mind normal corruption practices). Most times, capital in SW region almost have same development as other places or underdeveloped to same. For instance, sango ota, ibafo/arepo is more developed to Abeokuta in terms of housing infrastructure, Ife is somewhat commercialised than Osogbo. Except Ibadan and Akure.

In short, it would take time for "even" development across states in SW but the fact remains that Nigeria as a whole is still very underdeveloped.
