Career › 8 Categories Of Jobs That Can Frustrate The Life Of Nigeria Graduates by wristbangle(op): 6:12pm On Dec 29, 2015 |
The dream of every graduate is to secure a good job and live a financial stable life, but unemployment and circumstances have made many graduates to settle for low profile jobs
These low profile jobs makes life unbearable for graduates which comes with poor salary package, terrible working condition and other derogatory factors.
So quickly let's discuss on the categories of jobs that can frustrate the life of Nigeria Graduates;
1. GNLD
The problem with this company is not the product quality but the marketing strategies they adopt in selling their products. It's an insult to tell a graduate to merchandise drug products under intense sun where customers can actually walk in to a friendly atmosphere pharmacy store. Graduates working with them never cease to complain about their ridiculous staff welfare and poor career growth.
2. Insurance Marketing
Frankly speaking and general summarising, many Nigerians don't believe in insurance policy and that is the first frustration insurance marketers experience from customers. Immediately you introduce this idea to them, they will frustrate your life with curse meanwhile an insurance marketer salary is on commission basis.
3. Bank Marketing
I pity employees working in a bank especially contract staffs who work as marketers. Banks give ridiculous targets to them such as opening several accounts in a month with huge deposit knowing fully well that there is economic recession. Such employees come home at night looking tired, frustrated and wearisome and most time, broke.
4. Real Estate Marketing
The real estate sector is not booming like before and as a result of this, they advertise marketing vacancies every now and then to recruit for graduates. Apart from the fact that a graduate earn peanut in a month, it's so difficult to get buyers to purchase a house when people can hardly afford 2 square meal in a day. 5. Teaching
It's a big show of shame on our government to pay people who actually mould the career future of tomorrow's leaders' meagre salary. How can N18,000 cater for a grown up man with responsibilities? This is one the reasons why the standard of our educational sector keeps dwindling.
6. Telecom customer care
The insult a customer care rep receives from Nigerians daily, is enough to make him/her become a psychiatric patient. When credit is deducted from a customer's account, he/she calls the customer care line to abuse, ridicule and hurl insults at the agent that picks the call.
7. NEPA
When people sight a NEPA/PHCN worker, the next thing that comes to their mind is to beat the hell out of that person. Employees working with electricity regulatory bodies always complain about management of irate customers and distribution of bills.
8. Asian coys
Hardly will you see an employee who gives a positive remark about working with an Asian company like the Indians and others. Most employees working with them complain bitterly about the long working hours, small salary and constant threats to sack them.

The FG should dredge river niger bridge or imo river so that there will be assess to seaports and NPA present.
Why is the coal in enugwu state abandoned? This coal can generate 12500megawatts in nigeria.

Why is it that our land is the only region where petrol never sold at its controlled price? What is the condition of Enugu-Onisha Road or Enugu-Port Harcourt Road or Owerri -Aba Road? Kachisbarbie: Even if he forgets, homeboyz won't forget. There is this suggestion from Ben-Murray Bruce that's always playing on air regarding this issue. He gave some suggestions, albeit cumbersome considering the fact that we don't have an organised database in this country.
You ask what 5k would do? My brother you have never been broke ba? Seems you don't know that some unemployed youths have missed interviews and test IVs because they didn't have transport money.
Now ask this question where men dem dey o, your body go hear am. In as much as I agree with your comment, for those who are extremely broke/unemployed, I feel the 5K will still not relief their financial woes. Promises that cannot be fulfilled should never be made in any way and now that Nigerians are holding him ransom for this promise, is it now they know we don't have a structured database? |

dachaste: Yesterday during the interview, a discussion came up by tosynetoomuch and another guy(forgotten his moniker) and I was amazed even the guys noticed this problem.
My question goes thus;
Why is it that when a girl is totally dependent on a guy, guys tag her a cheap slut, gold digger and all sort of names. And when a girl is Kindda focused and is independent. Working and taking good care of herself guys still come up with names for her saying all sort of things. It gets even worse if she's married. The insecure husband Kindda forces, threatens or blackmails her to quit her job
All these got me wondering. people keep saying its hard to please a woman but for a man its near impossible.
What do you guys really want from a lady?
(please come and give us light) It depends on what a particular guy wants. Only confused, immature and chronic rational guys actually crave for 100 percent perfect lady |

TheSonOfMark: Isn't it ironic that the same men who continually chant the stereotypical, chauvinistic mantra of all women being oppurtunistic leeches and wealth-grabbers and claim they want independent ladies turn around to spite the relatively few women who have made financial fortunes for themselves? Isn't that like wanting to eat one's cake and have it back?
It's ironic brother. You can't eat your cake and have it back but at the same if a man knows what he wants, considering the financial status of his supposed wife should not be his top priority. |

Unclad pics out of love? Those are the sort of girls with fish brain. It's dumb! Why implicate urself? He may have seen her naked before, so what's the point of sending him graphic pics again? It's rubbish, joor!
The few times I got involved in an e-fight, I wasn't in the least bit embarrassed. As a matter of fact, I was having fun. Lol. But those were the first few months I joined NL. Not doing that again. I believe I'm bigger than that.
I never favoured PMB. It's even affecting me right now. When I ask my folks for money, they tell me the govt is very bad, that money is scarce. Lol. I have no faith in that man from Daura.
Hehehe... U ppl want to implicate me. I'll date ronald4lif, Tosyne2much, Donholy28, Mr. CORK .. LOL. PLS, nobody should ask me questions on that, biko.
For those chop and clean mouth guys, good 4 them. They found a willing girl. I just can't fault the guys, I choose to blame the female victims, instead. As for girls that scam guys for money. They might as well get a degree in that. Perhaps it would add more value to their lives. To those chop and clean mouth guys, though.. If u don't like a girl, pls let her go and help save her dignity.
16 is fair. Or better still, when the child gets out of sec school. children are getting spoilt too fast these days.
Fuel subsidy removal? The stakeholders think it's for the best. The economy is sinking and all measures to boost it need to be employed to salvage it. I'll just be watching.
Cc. Tosyne2much... Wristbangle. Oh my goodness! Epic response to question 9. . Good one dear. Tosyne2much and ronald4lif, u will agree with me that we have high calibre of Intelligent ladies on nairaland. |
