GOFRONT:At the outset, the woman's mother opposed the relationship, citing a perceived social status mismatch with the man. Initially resistant, the woman's perspective shifted after marriage, leading her to start considering her mother's objections. At this point, her previous boyfriend who had terminated a relationship with her resurfaced, and started seeking reconciliation. Meanwhile this ex-boyfriend had marital problems that prompted his wife's relocation to Europe. So with the support of the mother-in-law, he and the woman engaged in extramarital affairs at first and hell was let loose when the husband got to know. It was also at this point that she relocated to Abuja, claiming she was transferred by her employer. She actually relocated so that she could stay close to ex-boyfriend who is now divorced too. Ultimately, the woman summoned the courage to terminate her marriage with my friend. While these events constituted significant issues, there were numerous others. The man harboured undisclosed problems, contributing to unmet post-marital expectations. The blame isn't solely the woman's; the man apologized, albeit too late. |
My friend is currently navigating a complex marital struggle. He tied the knot with his wife in 2015, but significant issues emerged in 2018. Despite impassioned pleas from him, family members, pastors, and friends, his wife chose to end the marriage, relocating from Ibadan to Abuja and pursued a divorce. Despite court intervention and counselling, she remained steadfast in her decision, even leaving their only son with my friend in an attempt to ease the situation for him. The marriage officially concluded in 2020, and his ex-wife has since remarried her ex-boyfriend. Now, as he seeks to move forward, a challenge arises as his Pentecostal Church in Ibadan prohibits remarriage while his ex-wife is alive. This poses a significant predicament, especially considering his role as a Deacon in the church. The fundamental question arises: Does the Bible genuinely prohibit remarriage in such circumstances? |

AKETI is not the problem really, his wife, son and other cronies that are benefitting from the crisis are the ones disturbing the peace of Ondo State. |

Alhaji Atiku Abubakar GCON, the 77 year old Former Nigeria Vice-president and Sultan of Dubai, congratulations on your birthday. You promised to contest again in 2027 when you will be 81, we are eagerly waiting for you Sir, since you believe Nigeria was created for you only. |
The earlier akeredolu's family and cronies realize the transiency of power the better for them and the ailing governor. You can't hold on to power forever, the most Honourable path is for the governor to have resigned but his family and cronies continue to fight an imaginary enemy because they wanted to continue to keep the state Treasury in their pocket. |
