For me to even think there was a human soul behind her comment

This people are like brown goats that bring their stench wherever they go! You can't help but wonder how anyone couldn't forget tribe issues for a minute when something as important as this is being discussed How can she even tell which is Yoruba from Igbo beggars She stays and interviews them

There are homeless people and there are demonic agents, destiny changers and ritualists posing as homeless people. And if Jesus had your mind set he wouldn't have come to die for the sins of mankind or he would have died for the jews only. I say this because you said you don't help especially yoruba homeless people that you perfer other tribes. Yes, I caught it before you edited your post and that is a horrible thing to say.

Hmm! Good point you have there!
Nigerians are the architects of their own problems.

What's the way forward now? I think giving anonymously is the only way, and as suggested by one of the posts above yours, people should try and reach out to the needy this Christmas season, and I think with their identities hidden it will prevent anyone from saying their fortunes are being used or taken in exchange for help given.

Since the day I saw the pictures of a girl hawking on one leg, a man sweeping without hands, (think he later got some help)and another man washing car for a living right here on nairaland, there has not been a week that I did not think about how our societies need to do more, and what I can do.

bettercreature:
Nigeria is not a place you can just buy things and give the needy or homeless people anyhow
It wont be long before they accuse you of using their fortune for money ritual
Not that most people are not ready to help the needy but Nigeria is complicated
Imagine giving out 50naira to the homeless man under the bridge but he later went ahead to sell your 50naira at the rate of 1000naira to those who need it for money ritual to use your fortune

You foolish lunatic, you brought 'develop' into this. What I said was 'our region is the most urban' which is true.

You ibos are just incredibly insane, and talking to you is like talking to the wall.

What exactly do you want me to say about the allocation that hasn't been said?
SW is doing better than you. Your region takes more than it puts in, and of course you can always show your Aba made statistics!

Your state made the 10 poorest states in Nigeria but SW didn't.

stickncarrot:
Look at the trash coming out of your brain. Tell me a state in Nigeria that's not developed by the Biafrans. Meaning that Biafrans were in for one Nigeria as others are playing the ostrich.

You haven't said anything on the IGR and Federal allocations. When you say the way we treat people, I start to wonder if there have been record of riot and destruction of properties in Biafraland, a record which is countless in other parts of Nigeria.

You can't talk out of emotion and hearsay when you want to discuss the issue of Nigeria with me. Can you give me any verifiable fact to your claims?

You sound pathetically uninformed and unteacheable. Learn to use your bundle before spewing trash next time, it will help you to be reasonable.

You are talking trash boy!
Do you want me to come and develop your land for you? You can develop your area if you are as accommodating and tolerant, not the way you treat strangers in your land. All the people who have been to your states have some very funny and unplesasant experiences. People move to places they are welcomed, and SE is the worst place for other Nigerians to move to and no one wants to go there. And before you give me that "the competition is stiff in iboland" remember that not all your people that migrated to other parts of Nigeria are in trade business. Even the North with all the bombing is still very much a better choice than iboland.

You ibos need to look inward and blame yourselves and adjust because, if Nigeria goes the way of regionalism today, your region will be a hard sell to foreign investors. I guess you already know this and that's the reason why you are kicking against it.

Your tight fist approach to life needs a reality check!

stickncarrot:
Thank God I asked these questions. You talked about developing your area, to me, you are the one that doesn't practice 'One Nigeria' for developing where you call your area. Other areas are not in Nigeria right? Because you don't believe in oneness, you have chosen to develop your area hoping for when Nigeria will disintegrate.

I will be glad to tell you that if you want one Nigeria, there won't be anything like 'my area' in you but oneness. There isn't any thing like my constituency, Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, or any tribe if you say that Nigeria is one.

I bet you that Nigeria is not one and you practices it more than those agitating for Biafra.

You are very dishonest to begin with!
Truth will not change no matter how many times it's stretched and manipulated!

If anything, the only people that are not sound and confused about the history of Nigeria are you ibos.

For asking these questions that have been answered over and over again here on nairaland shows that you either want to manipulate others or you have attention deficit. What part don't you get that you have done more damages to Nigeria than all other tribes combined? You ibos leaving for your biafra is the best thing that can happen to all of us!

1.The people that practice United Nigeria are Yoruba because we are more tolerant and accommodating, this is the reason why our region is the most urban in Nigeria today.

The people that divided Nigeria are ibos for killing the leaders of Hausa and Yoruba leaving their own.

stickncarrot:

Probably you are not sound in history. I implore you to read well with an unbias mind.

Assuming you are to answer to this question, what will your answer be

" Who actually practice United Nigeria?

Who has divided Nigeria till now?

I will wait for your honest answer.

Iddiot, all of you ibos have lost your heads already. You are confused and don't know what else to do. If anything is going to be discussed, it will start in the order of the atrocities committed, meaning you ibos will have to answer for invading SW and the minorities you killed first before looking into the self inflicted murder-suicide.
No one is chanting one Nigeria, you are just afraid to leave Nigeria.
Useless people!

Why are ibos the only people whose civil war wound refuse to heal? The people they forced into the war have healed and move passed it!

Ibos started the war and killed innocent minority tribes, and have boasted about 500,000 Nigerian soldiers killed here on nairaland. If all these people are added together, they will be more than the biafrans killed. So, before the Op, cramjone and the rest take Nigerians for fools again, know that some people can read between the lines.

Ibos starter a war and dragged everybody into it , looted central banks and then complain about £20 policy, a primitive tribe that probably didn't have a penny in the banks at the time, and if they ever had anything in the bank, can anyone tell me the reason why they wouldn't have taken all their money out since they were leaving Nigeria and knew there was no coming back for them

Remember when you talk that there are people that know how to listen and pull words apart.

Any reconciliation with ibos will set this country back, cos ibos hate other tribes and will continue to be a clog in the little progress of everything Nigeria.

Letting biafra go is the best for us all, but it looks like that's not going to work because of the same ibos claiming other people's land. Buhari should seriously look into regionalism, though ibos don't want that too, but is the 2nd best for us, and only PARASITIC LEECHES won't want to be on their own!

Keep throwing and hoping something will stick, OLODO!

Like I said earlier, two things determine who owns what!
1. The land where the oil is located.
2. The party/land closer to the oil wells.
No part of Itsekiri land is in Ondo state And Ondo is closer to most of the offshore oil wells around that they are not even claiming.

The only region that shouldn't be talking about oil is SE, none of both offshore and onshore oil wells is geographically in ibo land!
Rayhut:

Ondo oil wells belong to Ishekiri land of Delta state, It was Obasanjo that ceded some Delta state oil wells to Ondo, the litigation process is still going on at the federal high court, very soon they will revert the Ondo oil wells to its owners Delta state as they did between Akwa ibom and Cross River.

The oil in Ondo are in Ondo state, and Itsekiri can't claim what's not on their land or closer to them on the sea!

Most offshore oil well been claimed today as Bayelsa's are even closer to Ondo than they are to Bayelsa! Yoruba is passive over this as an adult who would let the kid have it. If Nigeria breaks today, Yoruba will take most of them backed by ICC! Google maps of oil wells locations are not Yoruba made!

There are no oil wells in SE/iboland, what you have is politics, propaganda and closeness to oil region of Delta and Rivers! How can you be producing oil without oil wells do you tap your oil from the sky?

Yoruba/Ondo has oil wells and iit's the 2nd oil producing region, just after SS! These are facts no amount of ibos propaganda can twist or wish away!
