Business / Infernal Haircut. Fire Your Barber by wyzoe: 7:07pm On May 02, 2018
The 39-year-old businessman said: 'I learnt this technique during my barber training in Turkey.

'Traditionally it was used as a way of burning away lice when there was no cure and it was also used to style and smooth hair as there were no hair dryers at the time.

'I use it to tame frizzy hair and burn away dead ends. Healthy hair isn't damaged by this technique.

'It can also be used to remove static hair after a cut but I wouldn't recommend anyone trying it without proper training.

'My customers aren't scared because they trust me and it's not painful. I have one customer who is just seven years old and another who is eight.

'I enjoy my work because it's so different. I also like to teach other barbers how to use this technique.'

Brave customers at one barbershop really are in the hot seat thanks to a maverick hairdresser's technique of cutting hair using FIRE.

Kadir Demirel, who runs Kapsalon Istanbul, in Holland, has ditched the scissors and instead sprays flammable liquid on his clients' hair before setting it alight.

Shocking footage taken inside the salon shows Mr Demirel using a comb to brush the hair while it is still burning and smoking.

English is not our language

Go tell an English man to write in Hausa language... Then come back and thank me

Buhari remains a good for nothing disaster of a man...

Quote me anywhere

Modified : for all those lazy youths yapping about this man's English... Let me remind you that a man whose house is on fire does not chase rats..
Let's come back and debate about his grammar after Buhari must have been booted out of office come 2019..

Zombieterror was here.

Theres no logic in this.

An English man has English as his lingua franca, his official language, not hausa. Expecting him to speak hausa fluently is silly.

English is our official language and is a requirement in any educational pursuit.

Try another argument because yours is flawed.

Did she force him into her room?
Did she forcefully take off his clothes?

He came to their room to forcefully or coerce her BN lack mail her into having sex.

That judge needs to be checked and their lawyer must be wack.

There is a difference between dismissal and termination. With a termination you can still work in public service, with a dismissal you can never have that option again.

The judge doesn't need to be checked, the judgement appears sound. Decisions are given when law is applied to evidence.

as much as what he did is wrong, this lady should certainly take some of the blame for this nonsense!

She either stretched the story or she's lying. She should name the man.

C'mon! Use your head guyz.

This is a clear-cut match fixing playing out. Real Madrid may eventually proceed but this scoreline certainly doesn't reflect individual team's prowess.

It might even be a bait to allow fans worldwide seeing the game enjoy their time. An early goal from Madrid would have toned down the intensity of the game and make fans (from both teams) lose interest.

All in all, something is definitely fishy.

What is the meaning of "individuals team's" ehn oga?

I'm more worried about the inconsistency in his english.

He spells some harder words better than he does simple ones, in some places his grammar is quite good but in others basic grammar is atrocious.

I smell a phony here who watched a documentary and is here getting some attention.

I thought I was the only one that noticed. I'll say this much, it's still a captivating story which rings of some truth.

All these fabrications sef.

Have you noticed that it always happens to a friend and not them. That's because
A) it didn't actually happen
B) they want the attention but they aren't crazy enough to fabricate such details with their real names, hence the "friend".

Miss me with that abeg.

Note; I'm not saying that stuff like this doesn't happen, I'm just saying that most of what gets reported is fiction.

A girl in her early 20's can have flappy boobs by nature? I laugh in Taiwanese

Yes Sir. Even a teen. You have to understand that breasts are storage units for fat. The bigger the boobs, the more they will sag.
If she had big breasts at some point and loses weight, naturally they will look flabby.

Well, confidence is attractive. You go girl!

This is more realistic & relatable to most women. Not everybody has breast up so high, they could double as a chinrest. Yes, that is an ideal, but this is reality.

Hey it's you again. Hope you're good.

I often see NL people (shamefully, even some females) talk about flat breasts and saying the bridge has fallen. I'm tempted to ask the guys if they've ever seen (and or felt a breast before).

Any endowed girl will naturally feel the effect of gravity on her chest. There's absolutely nothing wrong in that and most of them are beautiful.

The ones that don't look so good are the ones who perhaps for genetic reasons don't get to store much fat in their breasts therefore giving it a flabby look.

There's nothing wrong if a girl has big breasts and they hang. It's simply nature.

Nothing in The Bible prohibits anything but God is our Instructor, Director and Discernment. God does everything in us.

That's not quite true. The Bible prohibits a lot of stuff and some of it is quite trivial.

The Lord made all things and pronounced them good. He gave man dominion over all things as well.

If this is so, why is it that only dark forces occupy owls, cats and other animals to travel. Why can't men of God also use the same medium to propagate the Gospel?

Think about the cost benefits. The money for the Private Jets, maintenance and other expenses could be used to care for the less privileged.

No, that's not necessary, this is when it's really up to her if she wants to change it legally or not.

So the name change is symbolic?

Pardon the many questions, I'm just trying to understand.
Family / Re: Why Do Women Change Their Names After Getting Married?? by wyzoe: 2:01pm On Mar 22, 2018
XhosaNostra:

I have no real opinion on it, because it's just a name that your in-laws ( now "your new parents" or "your 2nd parents" ) give to you, in the same way that your own parents gave you a name when you 1st entered their house/this world. Marriage is seen as a new chapter or new beginning, so the new you needs a new name tongue

Lol, South Africans take their respective cultures very seriously, we don't compromise. Everybody has to follow the customs.

Below is a white woman during the name giving ceremony, just to show that nobody "skips" any of the stages if she wants to marry into our culture. No exceptions or excuses. You will be told, "This is how we do it here". The 2nd picture is that of a Xhosa woman. You can see that they're both dressed the same way because it's required by tradition/culture.

I presume the women will then have to do a legal name change to address the discrepancies on their documents/certificates etc
Family / Re: Why Do Women Change Their Names After Getting Married?? by wyzoe: 12:32pm On Mar 22, 2018

It's a cultural practise, she knows she does not have a choice but to observe tradition.

What's your take on it?

What will happen to a woman who says she doesn't want to comply with that tradition?
Family / Re: Why Do Women Change Their Names After Getting Married?? by wyzoe: 10:40am On Mar 22, 2018
XhosaNostra:
Lol, that's better, in my culture, they give you a new name altogether. You'll no longer even be "Isabella", you'll be "Lorraine" grin

They say it's because marriage is a new identity. Whatever you did under your "old name", is now put behind you, including the name itself. You're turning on a new page as a new being, someone's wife. It's always funny watching new brides when they're still coming to terms with their new given names. You'll be calling them & they won't respond because they still haven't gotten used to them.

The new names are usually nice & meaning though.

What if the woman chooses to retain her old name?
