Politics › Re: Go Home And Stop Your Hopeless Agitation’, Igbokwe Tells Nnamdi Kanu by Xano(m): 8:48pm On Apr 25, 2017 |
yourexcellency: Joe Igbokwe, the Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress ( APC) in Lagos State has advised Nnamdi Kanu the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) to go home and stop his hopeless agitation for the realisation of Biafra. - Advertisement -100% Natural Solution To Premature Ejaculation, Weak Erection, Watery Sperm, Other Sexual Dysfunctions And Last More Than 30 Minutes During Sex.
Speaking in a chat with INDEPENDENT, Igbokwe while reacting to the bail granted the IPOB leader said Igbo people are not interested in Biafra republic.
Describing the agitators as collection of illiterates who are just wasting their time and energy, Igbokwe said the leaders of IPOB are only using the Biafra agitation to dupe gullible ones of their money.
” Now that he has been granted bail, he should just quietly go home and rest. We are not a candidate of Biafra. They are just dissipating their energy for nothing. I just hope he will just go home quietly and stop disturbing the peace of the country”.
“We are not for Biafra. We can’t build Nigeria for others. The so-called Biafra is too small for us. Nigeria provides a big stage for us. We own this country. We are a major ethnic group in this country. How can you go for a small pond when you have Atlantic Ocean?”
“So Nnamdi Kanu should go home quietly. He should stop his reckless and stupid agitation. The agitation has no political or economic sense”.
” It is a hopeless agitation that we are not interested in. They are just using it to make money from gullible ones. It is a collection of illiterates” he said.

It means you can actually drink watery stool so long as its from enemy of your enemy. It is disgusting sarrki: The best igbo man ever liveth

Foreign Affairs › Re: Emmanuel Macron, 39 And His 65-Year-Old Wife by Xano(m): 10:39am On Apr 25, 2017 |
truemg: They walked hand-in-hand into the victory rally, embraced and kissed on stage: Emmanuel Macron, winner of the first round of the French presidential election, and his elegant blonde wife Brigitte.
At the lectern, the man now expected to beat Marine Le Pen in round two – despite not having had a political party until starting the En Marche! movement a year ago – made sure to thank all those who had helped him get so astonishingly far.
Then he turned, smiled at her and thanked the most steadfast supporter of them all, his wife Brigitte: “always there, and what’s more, without whom I wouldn’t be me.”
The watching crowd chanted its approval. Her name echoed around the hall: “Brigitte! Brigitte! Brigitte!”
It was to any English observer who knew the back story, a charming reminder that if he wins the final round in a fortnight’s time, Mr Macron will continue the fine French presidential tradition of having a love life to boggle and amuse stolid Anglo-Saxon minds.
Aged 64, Ms Macron is a grandmother-of-seven and 25 years her fresh-faced 39-year-old husband’s senior. Even better, perhaps, they met when he was 15 and she was his married, private school teacher – with a daughter of the same age, in the same class.
Full Story: https://www.trendiee.com/news/winner-first-round-france-presidential-election-emmanuel-macron-39-65-years-old-wife-love-story/ True I read the story, quite rare. I did not believe at first but wow. He was in her drama class, at the age of 15. His parents had to send him to another School because of their closeness. The part of the story I was not happy about, is her divorce of her husband who she has three children with, because of him. She has been a huge part of his life. He said, she would remain so. He even said, when 'we' are elected, instead of 'I'. Her fashion style is a bit daring; wearing gowns above the knees without tights. Long double-breasted jacket, pencil exquisite pair of trousers, heeled boots, Louis Voitton bags. She walks on more than six inch-heel shoes with comfy, for a lady at 64 years, that's something. |
Politics › Re: SGF, Babachir Lawal Gone For Good – Sagay by Xano(m): 5:20pm On Apr 20, 2017 |
LordAdam16: The NIA's jurisdiction is foreign intelligence and counter-intelligence.
The DSS/SSS covers domestic intelligence.
And that is why NIA stores cash in dollars. Naira has no value outside Nigeria.
The EFCC ordinarily should never have busted a NIA safe house because we have a FIIB agency that liase and enables communication between law enforcement and intelligence agencies. Oke prolly heard late about the bust, and he was already at Magu's office by the time EFCC officials were at the compound but yet to make the bust.
It was Magu's stubbornness that made the EFCC officials go ahead with the bust while Magu directed Oke to go to the President. That has been a PR nightmare for the Presidency. Just like the double conflicting DSS reports on Magu. Magu should have directed his boys out of that facility the moment Oke stepped into his office.
If Magu had done this nonsense to the DSS director. I can assure you, Magu would be the one suspended now.
The Presidency does not want to axe Magu for reasons that are not well known and Magu was smart to put it in the public space. What he did compromised National Security (whether or not it was a loot) and he's only getting a pass because Buhari and Osinbajo has his back.
And therein lies the issue really, we are all outside the government, so we really can't be sure of what is going on. But whatever it is, it sure as hell isn't the BS they're selling the public. And it sure as hell is about 2019.
Nigeria has as many as 10 intelligence agencies, most of which you don't know about.
Talk to any Nigerian intelligence officer right now and you'd practically sense the disgust. Under no circumstances is law enforcement supposed to take a swipe at the intelligence community in the public domain. Magu reports directly to the President, even if he had not made a public or media show of the bust, he would have taken it directly to the President and air his objections. The President would direct the DSS and Attorney General to do a classified investigation, the money retrieved (if it was a loot) and Oke would be made to retire early.
Buhari has changed the Director of the DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency) three times since he was elected in 2015. Not once did it end in the papers, and none of them were publicly humiliated like Oke.
-Lord Interesting you wrote the last part: "Buhari has changed the Director of the DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency) three times since he was elected in 2015. Not once did it end in the papers, and none of them were publicly humiliated like Oke." I heard of it from certain people. Nigerians don't know a lot of what happened in this administration. |

SillyMods: Lovely! This will send good signal to any other govt top guy who may want to take the same route.
My small grouse is that this could have happened since January/February at the latest.
Notwithstanding, it's still far better late than never cos I can't recall any past top government official who was removed for infractions as this one.
Never happened. PMB still proves that he's capable of doing the right thing when the chips are down. Dude, it is better not to write than to lie with confidence. Check OBJ and GEJ administration. |
Politics › Re: SGF, Babachir Lawal Gone For Good – Sagay by Xano(m): 4:50pm On Apr 20, 2017 |
LordAdam16: I wouldn't want to make a new post in politics section, but I'd make an exception here.
@SillyMods, Sarrki, and all you Zombies are very sick. Because Lawal who was being shamelessly celebrated has now being dropped. Same way if Magu is dropped, you folks would shamelessly say, better late than never.
Nigerians are also very gullible.
The talk that there are new evidences against the SGF is all a lie. Buhari is simply using the SGF as a peace offering for the Senate as part of the recent Executive-Legislature peace process. And it made sense to do this now because they were considering relieving a Southern head of service and wanted to appear balanced.
It's all about 2019. Buhari and APC will sacrifice anyone for 2019.
Because there is no way new evidence magically cropped up after Oke was implicated on a different issue.
As for the theory of a cover-up, that's plausible. If you want to cover up anything, using the NIA is the perfect blanket. It is an intelligence agency with secret units that millions of us don't know about. Oke retires in November. He was to start his leave of absence in August. That's like 4 months away. And there's no way they'd find dollars minted in 2016 in an apartment and claim it was appropriated in 2014/2015.
Oke CANNOT be arrested and tried. Only the Attorney-General, President/Vice President, and service chiefs have the security clearance to review his case file. Magu does not have that clearance. That's why EFCC is yet to release a press statement. And that's why Magu is not part of the committee to review his case.
So if you wanted to really cover up anything by a big-wig in the government, Oke is the perfect fall guy. The NIA will not say anything to the press since they're in on it, and the matter will die a natural death. While the money is re-wired to the rightful owner.
Recall that the money was immediately deposited with the CBN and Oke already wants to submit his leave of absence letter.
This has nothing to do with an anti-corruption war. If it was, Lawal would have been axed long before now. Buratai too, Kyari (with his higher 500m loot) et cetera. It's a game of politics plain and simple, and the more you look, the less you see. Any body's head would roll if a strong group (in this case, Saraki and his Senate) demands for it.
And Saraki and the Senate are the real winners here as they've humbled the Presidency, again. All he had to do was ask EFCC to name the owner of the loot, and the Presidency scampered for a reasonable response.
Even Sagay would be next if the Senate insists, since he can't seem to keep his leaking mouth shut and he has the same air of arrogance that Lawal and Magu have.
The big upsetting news leading to 2019 started with Ali Ndume's suspension. Expect more to come.
And expect zombies to have a lot of work to do in the coming weeks and months, accusing and counter-accusing, praising and shortly after expressing disappointment.
-Lord Thank you. It is all politics spin, not anti-corruption. |

Thank you 19naia 19naia: They pay that in USA but it is part of the Water supply bill. You pay for the water supply they have provided via a meter, amd they add on the waste water and rubbish collection fees which are standard rate for every house. Only the water portion is billed accorging to meter reading like they do with electricity.
But for Lagos to be supplying No water to most of Lagos and forbidding people from digging their own boreholes, it seems rather backward to then be approaching with this which includes waste water management. What water have they provided that they want to be managing the waste water return? Another revenue scheme for looters? They have not yet mastered electricity supply or Water supply but they are moving in with fees for other forms of supply on top of the failed supply of paid electricity services. People pay for electricity they do not recieve and they are not seeing sense in this scheme to pay for other services they are likely not to recieve. Gurnam , I thought of a better way to reply you, but this quote above is close to best answer to you. If you are a lawyer(law practitioner) or social worker, you would know better. There are taxes which seem like duplicate tax and taxes without merit. gurnam: Lagos is choked up with daily human migration from all over Nigeria, mostly by non-professionals that can only come to add more burden on the already lean resources. The population is exploding, with more population, the more increase in crime rates, mostly by those coming from other states. LAGOS MUST CONTROL THIS UNBRIDLED INFLUX ONE WAY OR THE OTHER. |

To hope the President and his "loyal" corrupted men would obey this court's decision, is just hope.
To deliberately file same charges in different wordings in court by EFCC and DSS, consistently disobey Court rulings, then try to tell Nigerians, rule of law must be obeyed is ridiculous.

Billyonaire: It is time for the Billionaires from the South East to form a conglomerate and take over construction of roads in the SE and toll the roads based on PPP and ignore the bias that comes from Nigeria and her government.
It is now looking as if it is a systemic plan to not put infrastructures in the South East even though this country survives today, due to local produce that has helped govt cut waste and corruption from FX round-tripping.
Even my South South States are also abandoned, no real meaningful projects and we have to come over and conquer Lagos and Abuja because we have been abandoned by the government.
Now we see why those IPOB crusaders sang in songs that 'Nnamdi Kanu is another Savior'. When you make a tribe to search for a Savior, then you can be ready to have them worship any demon masquerading as Angel of Light. These are recipes for ethnic tensions, and we have not learnt a thing from Rwanda. Good idea We can start to inform those who can relay such information. The funds involved are huge, but we can start from somewhere. I heard some roads(some Federal, some State) in Anambra were done with some assistance from individuals. The UDI road to Awka was by Former State Governor. It may take time, but it is possible. |
