Hi, please I need honest and mature contribution on this matter. I love my wife so much, and I don't want to have a failed marriage, not so early.

My marriage is only 18months old. This is my wife's first Pregnancy, but I am having serious concerns about the paternity of the baby.

I trust(ed) my wife with all my heart and soul. She was away on a Job training for 6 months. The training finished on May 19th and we made love same day. She told me she last saw her period in May 16th so we both assumed she was in her safe period by May 19th before we made love. Actually we didn't want pregnancy or a baby yet because we are strained by resources for now.

My wife started complaining of strong tummy pain, plus her period hadn't shown up by June 12, so we went for a Pregnancy test and she was confirmed Pregnant. In fact the Lab attendant told me she is very pregnant. Days after I went through her chat while she was asleep and came across her chat with some guy, the chat was very suspicious. Actually the said guy is a Gynecologist, so she had told him she was Pregnant immediately after the test so as to get medical advice. In this chat the guy called my wife "luv", "dearie", talked about she visiting him, and my wife's response was to play along. At some point she even said she can't wait to visit the guy. The height of it was when the guy asked "how is our baby doing?"

I could not control my emotions after reading their chat, so I confronted my wife. She claim the guy was her best friend, that they met at her training. Actually she has always freely spoken to the guy via phone in my presence before this event so I had no suspicions until I read their chat. We quarrelled and she cried and cried swearing that she has never been with any man but me. She said she was heart broken I am doubting the paternity of her Pregnancy.

On June 26th, we were at the hospital for ultrasound scan and medical check up. The Ultra sound scan report says the pregnancy was 7weeks and 6days on June 26th. Now remember we first met on May 19th after about 6 months, also remember May 19th was three days after her period ended, she was supposed to be in her safe period. Now Let's assume she conceived on May 19th, between May 19th and June 26th is not upto 7weeks and 6days. Again I confronted her with these facts and she's been very emotional, she threatened that we must do paternity test after the baby is born to prove me wrong, she also warned that she will make my life hell after that test for doubting her faithfulness to me.

Please I don't know what to do next, my doubt is not fading because the numbers and events don't add up, I need useful suggestions please. Kindly note that I trust and love my wife, a part of me believes the baby is mine, its the maths that don't add up, and her chat with her Gynecologist best friend that keeps fueling my doubt. What is the best way to handle my situation?

My advise:

After the birth of the child, do paternity test. the number of weeks difference indicates it happened during her training. Before the test, be her husband and take good care of her.

After the paternity test, if yours, congratulations. If otherwise, we hope not, organize a meeting with your family and hers. Then, take a decision.

The reason why there is corruption and godfatherism is simply that political parties are funded with money from moneybags and those in government. But APDA isn't looking at that.

All over the world party members pay dues. Some of us belong to Professional and sociocultural organisations and we pay dues. Even our various clubs in secondary schools we pay dues. There is also SUG dues, Faculty dues, Department dues, and other dues paid by students of tertiary institutions.

The topic of this thread obviously contradicts what the images depict.
First picture is of an herdsman (not herdsmen according to the op) relaxing while he watches his cattle graze on the grasses beside a school (which happens nearly everyday in a government school beside my house in Osun state). The pupils were enjoying the sight (as against the impression of fright portrayed by the topic). could the buildings at the background of the pictures with cattle be part of the school building too? I couldn't just figure out an invaded classroom in any of the pictures. The essence of the pictures of the classroom and some supposed members of staff of the school remains a poser to my brain.

Why do some people like causing fear where there is none? Heating the polity unnecessarily.

I call on the mods to squelch this thread because it's inciting, misleading and corrosive.

Seun! This topic is misleading. Why can't we live in peace? Look at how the poor herdsman is sitting quietly and watching his cattle graze beside the school field. The pupils seem quite thrilled and happy to see the cattle graze. I can't see any cattle inside the classrooms. The teachers seemed to be going about their teaching business without an iota of disturbance.

I know that these Igbos hate Buhari and anything that he stands for but posting such a frivolous article with the aim to incite, heat up and cause disaffection between law-abiding citizens like herdsmen and their host communities leaves much to be desired.

A fulani herdsman has the right to pursue their legitimate means of livelihood just the same way these Igbos hawk in every space available in Lagos. As regards the topic, if the cattle and the herdsmen were inside the Secondary School, then they are in the wrong place; meaning they are trouble.

If we are to hold the view that Lagos state economy is being dictated by the igbos, then we must remove lagos state out of the stat, which then brings souht west down to an equal level with south east ( 5 - 5 states).
However, if we are to deduct lagos state's N302,425,091,969 from the total south west IGR N414,847,500,567 then we will be having roughly about N110...,...,..., which still EXCEEDS the total south east IGR N49,934,646,220.
My point is: even without lagos state, south west still beats south east in terms of IGR.

Seaports in SouthSouth and SouthEast are vastly underfunded. It is more of systematic choice by individuals and groups of highly placed stakeholders in this country. Modern facilities entitled to them are deprived of.

It is so easy to expose Malam Nasir El-Rufai as a liar being that Akwa-Ibom, a PDP state governed by the then Chairman of the PDP Governors Forum and a close confidante and major supporter of the then President, Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio, did not get the monies alluded to by Malam El-Rufai from the Ecological Fund as did multiple other PDP states including Ekiti state, a state governed by a thoroughbred patriot and Jonathan supporter, Ayo Fayose.

Also, it is false that non-PDP states did not get monies from the fund. Nemesis catches up faster with liars than any other agent of evil. El-Rufai was probably led by the gods against his own sinister plot to confess in another breathe that States under non-PDP parties like APGA and Labour party also benefitted.

The fact remains that the Ecological Fund is a specialized fund with certain constitutional requirements which must be met before a state can access the funds. EVERY state benefitted from the fund under President Jonathan who bent over backwards to accommodate states that had difficulty meeting the criteria for accessing the fund.

El-Rufai’s sinister narrative was intentionally silent on the over N10 billion specially deployed to fund the Great Green Wall (GGW) project in some northern states, in view of the need to work with the rest of Africa on the African initiative to check desert encroachment in the Sahelian states. These states included Zamfara, Jigawa, Kebbi, Sokoto, Katsina and Adamawa. Others are Yobe, Borno and Kano which belong to Mallam El-Rufai’s class of ‘non-friendly’ states that he alleged never benefitted from any discretionary fund.

Similar principle applies to the conditions for accessing the Universal basic Education fund where some states have not had access to what is due them, because they are yet to fulfill the mandatory criteria for allocation. Would it then be right in the name of El-Rufai’s position on equity to blame the failure of those states to access their UBEC funds on Jonathan?

It is really sad that judicious presidential interventions to tackle emergencies and other pressing national needs are being interrogated in a rather facile manner, by those who never get tired of playing dirty politics.

Nigerians may recall that this is not the first time that El-Rufai has vented his known passion for lying against the former President.

The public will recall that in October 2015 he falsely alleged that former President Jonathan spent a whopping N64 billion on Independence Day celebrations, during his tenure when in fact only N333 million was
spent.

Nigerians may also recall that this same El-Rufai falsely accused former President Jonathan and former CAN President, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor of founding and funding Boko Haram to the tune of N50
billion.

We can only wonder what new false accusation El-Rufai may come up with
tomorrow, as with him it is a case of one day, one lie!

We therefore urge Nigerians to "be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath" whenever this notorious liar opens his mouth.

Firstly, I have to admit I created a new account to get this much needed help.
Ok, So I met my girlfriend sometime last year and just recently we celebrated our 1 year anniversary as lovers.
Truth be told, she is an amazing personality; submissive, loving, caring, intelligent and hardworking. Infact, she's got a large portion of attributes that any man would want in a woman.
When we first met, I noticed really that she has alot of online friends whom she usually chat with as close friends (or maybe lovers sha). I kept cool thinking it ll just pass when things get serious between us. During this period she told me how she got close with one of those online guys that she requests porn clips from him. Fortunately or unfortunately, I know this guy ( he is my friend gan sef), I just allowed the matter lay low and warned her never to ask him or any other guy for such things as it reduces the respect any person has for the lady and she promised not to. This is because I dont want anyone disrespecting and disregarding her whenever she s been introduced to family and friends.
Alas! I caught my babe, requesting porn video from another of her online friends (I don't know this guy tho..) Once more. She assured me that she just did it coz she hasn't seen this guy before so its safe to ask him, Unlike the previous guy that they do see.

I decided to break the relationship. But surprisingly she kept reaffirming me that there s nothing between her and the guy that its just facebook friendly chatting.

PLEASE ladies and matured people in the house. Is it really possible that she actually mean what she is saying? do ladies still really behave this way after which they are in a relationship with someone they claim to love Or maybe I am the one overeacting here?
