Seems this question is too academic for most people here so I've decided to just hodl (or grid trade for compounding) btc, eth, bnb (and maybe busd in bear) and use these as collateral to trade usdt pairs since usdt pairs have more volume.

I've switched on Multi Asset Mode in futures accordingly.

I wonder if those who traded btc/UST made any money and if those who traded Luna/UST lost much.

If usdt were to depeg, I would need to TP on my btc/usdt short before the peg is restored or before both become zero.

Go for USDC or BUSD both are fully backed or collateralized

That means for every $1 BUSD minted, CZ has $1 liquid.

Buying BUSD or USDC is like having $1 in a bank account.

The problem with USDT is while it fully backed but it’s it fully backed with liquid USD. It is back by fiat USD by 20% and the rest are bonds and other crypto asset.


Outside of backing, USDT is own by Bitfinnex guys. They are what we call the market maker, bitcoin would go to zero before USDT depegs .

It means the stop loss will move at a certain percentage you set behind the asset price once the activation price is hit.

So if you set $100 activation price with 1% trailing for stop loss and price drops to $100, your stop loss will be $99. If price doesn't get to $99 and increases to $110 after hitting $100, your new stop loss will now be $108.9 instead of $99.

Btc would have to dump 10% for you to get liquidated at 10X leverage. That's like the $37k you mentioned.

They are not recommended for long term hodl though, due to volatility decay and rebalancing.
