Crypto is mostly based on speculation, as such making such statements publicly caused panic withdraws from Ftx and also massive dumping of ftt. We all saw how same fud made Celsius go bankrupt due to ripple effect of massive installing and withdrawals. Should people also rush in to withdraw their money from binance in panic they will also face liquidity crunch since most of investors money are diversified.

It will be very hard for binance to face liquidity crunch as they are not in the habit of buying things with money they don't have, or doing kalokalo with traders' monies which are SAFUly stored off the exchange to deter hacking.

If binance is going to have problems, it won't be from liquity crunch. Maybe political or regulatory.

I think this usdt/ngn pair will let the supply and demand of demand determine it's price and changes

Not how P2P merchants just wake up and set prices at their own free will

Glad we can buy ngn directly and not necessarily USDT

True.

While P2P stood at 854, NGN kept visiting 825 and below.

There's room for arbitrage here.

What about CBN policy restrictions about using Nigerian banking system directly to buy crypto. Has that been lifted?

It hasn't.

This is a modified P2P system, but for NGN fiat only.

So I tried the new usdt/ngn feature...yeah the naira deposit was successful and like around 2% was charged from the deposit of 20k...deposited 20k , received 19,600naira....tried to buy usdt at the usdt/ngn market and saw that it was priced at 834 naira which is the same price on the P2P too...I think the major benefit of the new feature is that you can buy usdt without going through P2P , but it is still the same prices....if not even cheaper on p2p since I do not need to pay 2% fee..

N834 or N843?

Another advantage I see here is that you can set your buy prices for usdt at support levels and also catch the wicks, while P2P prices are still lagging.

Usdt/ngn got to 819/820.5 today but P2P prices didn't.

No wonder that chart has been behaving funny of late. More and more usdt/ngn conversions going on.

I just tried it with 5k and I got 4,900NGN. There is a USDT/NGN trading pair so you can use it to buy USDT at current market price.

Seems it will be cheaper to buy usdt directly on P2P then.

I think it is the most profitable, yeah but it takes patient, I don't really understand binance, so I just go with bybit, and see the result I have, I don't know if autobots can run into loss?

Yes, autobots can run into loss if you don't set them up properly.

If you create a 18500-20500 grid and btc goes out of that range, you will be in loss until it falls back into that range.

They are quite profitable if setup properly and can generate constant passive income with patience and minimal supervision.

That 2119% APR is what you will make in a year if sol stays within your set range during that period.

I prefer tight widths so they can be hit as many times as possible eg it's more likely to hit a 0.2% width 5 times than it is to hit a 1% width once for some coins. Just saying.

I use auto fill on bybit, I don't understand the numbers even when I have watch numerous videos on YouTube... I know is a step Sha, so about the stop loss and take profit is it necessary to fill? Since it automatically, take profit?...
Thanks for your future response.
God bless you.

Autofill is okay for beginners. It suggests safe settings based on past performance of the coin. On Binance it's called Auto settings and you can switch to Manual mode to input your own settings or modify the auto settings.

In the pics below I copied the AI suggested auto settings to manual mode and edited the upper and lower limits as well as the number of grids to arrive at 0.2-0.34% profit per grid (buy or sell point).

Take profit ends a long grid if price goes above the upper range or whatever price you set.

Stop loss ends a long grid if price falls below the lower range or whatever price you set.

You can use TPSL if trading narrow ranges eg 18500/20000 but no need if trading wide ranges eg 14000/28000 to reduce time spent recreating it.

Thanks
I don't really understand, how can I lock in profit or it just lock profit after reaching the other price range? Pls explain.

Yes, it will lock profits itself. It's on autopilot so you won't have to do anything else after the initial setup. It will buy and sell automatically as price rises and falls within the set range. Rinse and repeat.

Why did you choose OP/USDT though? Does it range regularly?

You also have only 2 grid lines? What's the width percentage? That's your TP percentage.

I prefer tight widths so they can be hit as many times as possible eg it's more likely to hit a 0.2% width 5 times than it is to hit a 1% width once for some coins. Just saying.

The strategy is only as good as the settings you input.

Currently no fees on spot and margin btc trading on Binance, bybit and gate.

You can target the 18k to 21k range (or 14k to 28k if your capital covers that).

The smaller the grid width, the better. Say 0.3 to 0.5% profit per grid.

You can use this to accumulate or compound :

I've accumulated 60% more btc in the last 30days using this strategy to trade btc in the 18000-20500 range.

That's like 2% daily increase on my btc stash.

All automated and on autopilot.

Bro, how is it possible that the short will never be liquidated ? I think a lot of people would want a more detailed explanation on this.

You enable cross collateral mode on futures, transfer the $1500 btc you bought on spot into your futures wallet and short an equivalent $1500 worth making your effective leverage 1x or less.

1x approx if your wallet total is $1500 or 0.75x if you have an extra $500 usdt for the 3x short to bring your total wallet balance to $2000.

Very true. One or more of us has had similar situations. But the fact remains that no one can tell tomorrow. Just as at this period some are saying bitcoin will crash to $13,000 , others are saying it will pump to $30,000.
So the dilemma is should I buy at the current price of $19500 and hope it will go up or should I wait till it falls to the $13,000 and buy at the dip.
What is the assurance it won’t fall below $13,000? What if it starts rising till it gets to $100,000? Should I short at this $19,500 with the hope that it will fall? What if it doesn’t fall as speculated? There are so many uncertainties that is why we pray for God to enable us make the right decisions.

Rough idea. From $19500 :

28% dump = $14k
28% pump = $25k

Leverage for 30% move : 3X

You can go long on spot with $1500 and go short on futures with $500 using 3x or 4x leverage to hedge your spot position.

Whatever you lose on spot, you gain in futures and the short won't be liquidated until 25k, or never liquidated if your move the $1500 btc into your futures wallet. This way you don't lose whichever way the market moves.

You ride the profitable leg to the max, close it and use it to DCA the other leg when market reverses.

Alternatively, you could open both long and short on futures with SL on both. One gets cancelled out and the other runs to net profit if you place your TPSL well.

If shorting on futures to hedge your spot position, a 90:10 ratio might be more cost effective but that will cover only 10% moves.

In the period from September 6 to September 13, CME institutionals reduced the number of short positions, and took a few long contracts after the dump. Probably a local uptrend should be expected in the near future. Current price is 19600.
