Yes, your profits will be the same since your position size is $200 in both cases.

However, your losses won't be the same. If the trade goes against you, you lose $20 in one and $200 in the other.

However, you are more likely to lose the $20 first (10% drop required) before you lose the $200 (99% drop required).

I no longer care about the direction BTC takes. All I know is, with great strategies, you'll even make more money now. Sadly, most of us don't care about strategies or TA.

I have different strategies, but the one I'm currently using is through HotBit. I created 12 Hotbit accounts and sent money to them with phone 1. I used my second phone and created another 12 accounts and sent money to all of them. (I used different dual apps).

Just two phones, but 24 accounts. Why the madness? The strategy needs it.

How do I do it? It's simple. I'm longing and shorting the market. Only ETF X5. I lose some trades, but my wins are WAY WAY more. Also, there is enough backup incase of necessity. The backup is my confidence and with strategy and confidence, you'll do better in crypto.

Most people don't care about strategies, TA, or having lots of backups. It's sad.

This is not a financial advice. I'm only sharing what I do that gives me joy and advantage in this bear market.

Why not just do 5X , 12X or 24X grid trading on Binance or kucoin?

Barely 1 month into this and I have lost all already.

Trading with low capital encourages one to use high leverage which in turn leads to quick liquidation at little price change.

If you must trade with $16, you need to have at least $160 as reserve margin.


$320 reserve margin is even better and $1600 reserve best.

What are you trying to achieve by adding more margin? More profit? Or less risk of liquidation?

The only way to improve your shorts will be to increase the entry point from 21550 to 22k or higher and you can't do that since it's already in profit.

Your best bet is to put your stop loss in place now. At entry point or lower to be in profit. Then you can create new orders with the money you want to add above your entry price or SL. This will allow you close the current deal in profit and then open new shorts at a better entry price.

Adding new shorts below your entry price of 21550 will reduce your entry price to say 21000 or lower and increase your chances of liquidation if your short at support.

Adding more margin without increasing the amount of coin bought reduces your effective leverage and improves your liquidation price. Entry price stays the same.

Adding more more margin by buying more units of the coin gives you a lower entry price if you buy cheaper and a higher entry price if you buy higher. You might also be at higher risk of liquidation if you buy higher.

Btc was in a wedge and was going to breakout upwards or downwards.

Guess Celsius paying off their loans and a few whales going long helped it breakout upwards.

It will still need to retest the breakout region and continue upwards to 21500/22000/22500/23000 if it finds support on the retest.

Very difficult to say 100% for those coins eg when shiba pumps, it sucks life out of btc and the market generally but that doesn't mean it will dump if BTC pumps though.

But for leveraged tokens, you can be 99% sure they correlate.

Leveraged tokens are available on spot only.
