Beer

We don't actually know the individual whofirstcreated beer, but according to research conducted by historian Jane Peyton, for thousands of years brewing beer was a woman's domain. According a 2010 Telegraph piece: "Nearly 7,000 years ago in Mesopotamia and Sumeria, so important were [women's] skills that they were the only ones allowed to brew the drinkor run any taverns." Beer was even considered a gift from the goddess. Maybe marketers should think about that next time they decide to make a terribly sexist beer ad.

Monopoly

We have Elizabeth Magieto thank for the creation of one of the most classic board games, Monopoly, though it was originally called The Landlord's Game. Magie -- who was a game designer -- applied for the patent in 1903 and was granted it in 1904. According to Mental Floss, Magie was inspired to create The Landlord's Game"to demonstrate the tragic effects of land-grabbing."

Chocolate Chip Cookies

OK, so maybe it isn't altogether surprising that a woman thought these up, but seriously we are so grateful she did. A world without chocolate chip cookies (and by default chocolate chip cookie dough, chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream and Chipwich ice cream sandwiches) is no world at all. In 1930, Ruth Wakefield-- a dietitian and food lecturer who, with her husband, also owned a lodge named the Toll House Inn -- was making cookies for guests of her inn and realized that she was out of baker's chocolate. She broke up pieces of a Nestle semi-sweet chocolate bar, thinking that the chocolate would mix in and melt during baking, but it didn't. And thus, a much more delicious history was made

Mary Anderson thought up the windshield wiper out of necessity in 1903. During a road trip from Alabama to New York City, Anderson noticed drivers stopping to clear snow and ice off their windshields. Soon after, she came up with the windshield wiper -- an arm with a rubber blade that could be activated without getting out of your car. She applied for a patent in 1904, and it was issued in 1905. Although the device did not gain popularity until nearly a decade later, it's hard to imagine what it would be like to drive without windshield wipers today

Ladies love to marry early, but men will go for the opposite. Women wonder why they have to wait till they are older before possessing such thoughts. Ladies may marry as early as 20 but men is a rarity.

1. The commitment thingy.

The whole commitment thingy is scary. Don't tell them they'll have to commit their whole life to one lady when there are millions and other varieties out theregrin The thing is, it easy for a lady to make a commitment but not for a man.

2. Scared of their decision.

Men always get scared of marrying the wrong person. He still posses doubt even when he's sure of the one he vouched.

3. An end to his bachelorhood.

Once you're married, your free life and fun get cuts off. Guys are scared to leave that in a hurry as being a bachelor can be fun. They want to enjoy lives so that once they're married, they won't cheat. So they believe grin

4. Hustling or making money first.
Men want to be more than comfortable before looking towards marriages. They want to make money, have more cars, houses and wealth before going to the alter.

5. Polygamous in nature.

Men are naturally women lovers. And commiting to one for the rest of their lives is not a decision that will be hurriedly takengrin. They want to sow their royal oats before before settling to one , perhaps a virgingrin

6. Their friends.

Ladies Marry early because their friends married early or want to marry early. Men don't want to hear of such words, money and fun maybe the thing on their mind. To them marriage na future sontingrin

7. Who to trust when they have the money.

This is another reason. After making money and acquiring wealth, they don't know who to trust as every female that comes their way might be regarded a gold digger who only comes for his hard hustled money and not his love. They don't know who to trust or stick to. in their quest to find a trustable partner, they end up marrying late.

Feel free to add yours

For common apples?

It only in Nigeria that the rich will steal away billions and still be paid and given allowances while the average citizens will be trial for every single crime he committed.
