You people should keep deceiving yourselves with an estimated biased statistics.

Family / Demystified: Population Of Men Vs Women by xazanderfex(m): 2:56am On Jul 31, 2018
i was in a discussion with someone lately when she said with an intimidating boldness that there are more women than men in the world. And more often than i can recall, i have had people make such claims like.... you know there are more women than men in the world, so hold you man tight. or, you know men are scares, there are more women than men in the world... and those kind of stuffs. These comments, most times, are intended to make ladies stick with guys they don't like, or endure abusive relation or sometimes just to buttress a point of view.

but is it really true? are there really more women than men in the world?

The number of men and women in the world is roughly equal, though men hold a slight lead with 102 men for 100 women (in 2015). More precisely, out of 1,000 people, 504 are men (50.4%) and 496 are women (49.6%). For every 100 girls, 107 boys are born, but males have a higher risk of dying than females, both in childhood and at adult ages. So at a certain age, the numbers of men and women even out.

The total female population worldwide is about 49.6%, or about 3.52 billion. (on a scale of about 7.6billion people). However, this distribution is not even in all the countries. some countries tend to have more women than men while for others, its more men than women.

For example, they have for many years had a one baby policy in China due to overpopulation (not sure if its still in practice now). Furthermore, taking into account Chinese tradition putting more weight in importance on sons than daughters (family pride and ability to provide for the family), they may have more males than females in China. And China being the country with the largest population this might alter the global gender distribution somewhat.
Also, abortions may occur along sexual lines where the female fetus are terminated and males kept.

so with china having a great percentage of the worlds population (for one single country), its evident that this trend will continue for a long while. now considering some other nations

starting with our dearest naija
Nigeria 50.9% men and 49.1% female
ethiopia 50%: 50%
india 51.7 : 48.3
USA 49.2 ; 50.8
germany 49.1 : 50.9
china 51.8 : 48.2 etc

for a country like Nigeria, a 1.8% difference is a huge population considering our enormous population. thats more than 3 million men in excess of women. This means that a state like Bayelsa will have its total population as men with zero female.

for my source: i got the info from different online sources and so won't be nice to just quote one source. but in case you doubt it, please hit the search engine and knock yourself out

Religion / What Is It With Christians And Money by xazanderfex(m): 2:18pm On Nov 11, 2017
For a while now, the fight, discussions and arguments on tithe and offering have persisted. This has lingered, not because of peoples commitment and desire to know the truth but majorly, because money is involved. the fight isn't about fornication and chastity, neither is it about heavier matters. Those who are against it believed others are wasting their money to a pastor who keeps brainwashing them.

After seeing some comments on the thread about the highly anticipated program by Evang Bonnke, https://www.nairaland.com/4169114/reinhard-bonnke-dont-collect-offering. i became truly convinced that many Christians are enemies of the church. I have no problem with the comments of those without, but greatly angered with that of those within.

Most people think they can just wake up one morning to organise such program. if only they know how much is involved in the planning and logistics, am sure they will criticize it and say such money should be used to help the poor. How did this money come about? people donated for it. THEY GAVE THEIR MONEY FOR IT. Either through their tithe or offerings, donations or whatever name you choose to call it.

Money is "ammoral". its neither good or bad but takes the character of its possessor. The boko haram Budget, am sure, is in billions. People donated money to sponsor terrorism and we Christians are here lamenting on tithes and offering.

How is TBN, one of the largest broadcasting networks in the world, able to operate till now? its by peoples.

Some use their money to sponsor terrorism, others for Evangelism.
where do you stand? what do you spend your money on? On MB to rant about tithe, offering and donation?
The church will keep matching forward, and the gates of hell will never prevail.

is this how we want to raise our kids. To be a "celebrity" in attending parties and soon to be a baby daddy.

Hmmmm, indeed, the ones tasked with the responsibility of raising kids with great morals are morally bankrupt

MrPresident:
'church'
all you need is to rent a warehouse, think of a name that will attract people, buy musical equipment, plastic chairs and ceiling fans. hve a good command of the English language, read a dictionary always and dress to impress because it is a public relations business.
after singing and dancing, read and explain the bible to them, key words are tithe and seed sowing, then induce them up with a soft song, then followed by testimonies,
Immediately after testimonies, start another soft song, and then let loose the ushers with collection plates and envelopes,
then hit them with more singing and dancing for another hour, closing prayer and then .... church dismissed.

repeat this, with little or no variation for several months, and you will need a caravan to carry money to the bank every week.

remember to thank me later.. cheesy

Religion / Destiny: What Is It All About by xazanderfex(m): 9:15am On Feb 08, 2012
They say its d power believed to control events.Bt lookin at d lives of some people in d bible lyk judas, sampson etc,one is forced to ask whether is their destiny to end up d way they did.
If destiny is a power that controlled their lives, then they are not at fault since they are being controlled by a power they have no control over.
And if that is not their destiny, then the popular saying that destiny can be delayed but cannot be denied is false.
And since God is omniscience who knew dat these guys wil not end up well and reach their destination or may even end up in hell, why then did HE creat them.
Just confussed

truth is many of us don't ve a dream talk more of followin it til they died.this could be because we r ignorant of our true interest, nd then difficulties follows.eg many jambites go 4 med surg cos they think gettin med surg is an automatic ticket to been rich nd protection 4rm unemployment nd thus it must be med surg or nothin.i say this type of dream is based on ignorance of his true interest
