There have been reports on millions of faulty equipment coming from china to other countries; China hiding information about the number of deaths on this issue; online videos on some guy cleaning his feet with face masks; America and China trading words on who caused this coronavirus pandemic and many more... If these are fragments of rumour, then there must be elements of truth in them and if they are true, it should be a pointer to what the government should do! This is the moment we should be forward-looking on how to survive without these countries at least reduce over-dependence. Here is the moment for us to start documenting lessons we have learnt for future references. If we allow these people to come to our country, they will have first information about why the rate of infection is slow in Africa and who knows, if they are the cause, develop another strain of this virus to fight Africa.

Test are done by almost all the personnel all over the country and it would be waste of time to document each of them (considering the inadequate manpower)

However every confirmed case is escalated to the database because that's where action is needed.

We have inadequate testing kits and about 5 testing centers in the whole country.
Every test has to be approved from the top before being allowed.

The Hydroxylchloroquine and Arithrymycine mix has been proven to work for Corona virus. Nigeria will not record lots of death because the doctors are already using these meds for treatment of the infected.

Unfortunately the west (US etc) will have to conclude their clinical trials before their doctors can prescribe these meds for treatment and lifes are lost in the process. Any doctor who prescribes these med without FDA approval in the US stands to loose his/ her license. This does not in anyway mean the med does not work.

I don't think China is to be blamed for what is happening, that the virus did not spread very well in their country is due to the type of government they run. if you check what is happening in the Western world due to too much freedom of speech and movement, the government of the day is struggling to contain the virus. during the epidemic in China it was very easy for the country to shut down the affected province without any backlash, now compare same with what is happening in US where the masses are rejecting the stay at home order.
