I
Never imagined to achieve this record when I arrived in Real Madrid six years ago. It’s an honor to be the all-time leading goalscorer for Real Madrid and I have to thank my teammates, coaches, the president, everyone at Real Madrid and my family, friends and all the fans for always supporting me. I’m very happy to be living this special moment. #halamadrid

PoliticsMinisterial List: How Buhari’s Last Minute Change Favoured Ngige by xmich(op): 10:38am On Oct 01, 2015
After a long wait, President Muhammadu Buhari finally submitted the list of his cabinet to the Upper Chamber of the National Assembly.
The president has been at the receiving end of harsh criticisms by angry Nigerians over his ‘deliberate’ refusal to unveil his ministers three months after assuming office.

The president had anchored the reason for the delay on the ground that he needed time to select those who were credible and trustworthy to run the affairs of the nation with him.

DAILY POST reports that the list, which was submitted to the senate president, Bukola Saraki yesterday by Buhari’s Special Adviser on National Assembly Matters, Itan Enang would be officially made public at the next plenary on Tuesday.

However, report has it that among those penned down for ministerial appointments were, immediate past governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Fashola, former Ekiti State governor, Kayode Fayemi, former lawmaker, Chris Ngige and erstwhile governor of old Anambra State, Ogbonaya Onu, among others.

However, sources told DAILY POST that Chris Ngige’s name came in at the eleventh hour.
According to a top presidency source, President Buhari, who has been constantly accused of marginalizing Ndigbo over their refusal to support him during the election, didn’t have it in mind to appoint Ngige.

The source told DAILY POST that Ngige’s appointment was done to mainly compensate Ndigbo.
“Ngige was not part of the first list of people compiled, I can tell you that. His name came at the eleventh hour. The president had a change of mind because of the complaints in many quarters that he was punishing the south east region because of their refusal to vote for him during the election.
“It took the intervention of some close associates and aides for the appointment of Ngige.”

Asked if president Buhari was truly angry with the south easterners because of the outcome of the election, the source said the president had nothing against them.
“See, that notion is wrong. The good thing is that Buhari has won the election and that is it. Where the vote came from is not the main issue now. Remember, he said he belongs to nobody and belongs to everybody,” the source added.

PoliticsRe: Where / What On Earth Is Biafra? by xmich(m): 7:52pm On Sep 30, 2015
ezeagu:
Apart from the name Biafra having absolutely no value in any language in the general south east of Nigeria, I'm still confused as to where the majority of pro-Biafrans believe Biafra to be or better yet the lands they claim are part of a proposed Biafra.

Personally, I'm against the creating of this microcosm of Nigeria called "Biafra" without any evidence of a clear plan for the upliftment of its proposed peopling. Apart from that, different Biafra groups are claiming 'Biafra' to just be Igboland, others are saying Biafra even includes Igala and Idoma people. Do the Igala and Idoma people even know what Biafra is talkless of whether they are part of it? And if it's Igboland, where is Igboland? Who does it include?

So I ask, where and what on earth is Biafra? And if successful nations can usually be described as a people of a particular culture who speak a particular language, like Spanish people of Spain speak Spanish, German people of Germany speak German, English people of England speak English, then what do the Biafran people speak? The Biafran language?
The bolded showed how stupid you are,
As a Nigerian which language do you speak huh OLODO

WHOcarex:
Guy (tonyebarcanista) why do you have to show your low IQ here? You just displayed how ignorant you are. No wonder your articles are always trashy. You should have at least ask people around about what happened to your Facebook account instead of blaming on APC. Well, you only have your kinds around you. #too bad*.

Why do you think you are important? Because some persons celebrate you here on nairaland "just for fun" because they have nothing to do? How many newspapers or television stations have featured your so-called article? Whatever you write or say here dies here. Nobody knows you. So stop running from your shadow.

I pity the people who take you seriously. Btw they are your kind. Few of them might know the truth but won't want to tell you. They will celebrate you on nairaland, then mock you offline. #fact.

The stuff you complained about happen a lot. It's not APC o my guy.

Let me stop here abeg.

Note: I'm not a partisan
You don't take him serious yet went to the length of opening thread on his matter.
