This is the kind of gestures citizens need from the military men both "on-field and off-field" ....This gallant soldier was seen putting smiles on the faces of these refugee children at an Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp... at least this is way better than slapping civilians. http://www.nationalhelm.com/2016/02/photo-of-day-soldier-plays-with.html

Here are photos of governor Okezie Ikpeazu chilling in a private jet as he returned to Abia state from Abuja earlier today following the supreme court verdict which upheld his election. The governor was seen in high spirits aboard the aircraft with friends and aides while posing for some pictures. http://www.nationalhelm.com/2016/02/see-photos-of-governor-okezie-ikpeazu.html

This is quite sad and disheartening..talking about the growing spate of killings and horror meted out by the men of the underworld. A 3-year-old girl in Cameroon was recently killed suspected ritualists after she was abducted few days ago. Her body was dismembered and dumped in a bush within the area. A video showing her inconsolable family crying alongside her corpse -was shared online. Here are some screenshots gotten from the video. The pictures of the slain little girl are just too graphic to publish. May her soul rest in peace. http://www.nationalhelm.com/2016/02/suspected-ritualists-murder-3-year-old.html

The Nigerian Air Force, in its bid for increased self-reliance, has successfully reconfigured 2 demilitarized Alpha Jets in its inventory that were hitherto acquired without weapon delivery capability. The Chief of Air Staff -Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar was seen with NAF technicians at the reconfiguration site. According to NAF, the 2 aircraft are among the 4 Alpha Jets bought from the United States in 2015 by the immediate past administration to enhance the operational capability of the NAF to combat Boko Haram insurgency in the North East. However, the aircraft could not be deployed to the theatre of operation before now due to the inherent weapon delivery deficiency hence its limited use for training purposes. This just shows that with handwork and consistency, the sky is just the starting point no matter how long it takes to fly. It was earlier reported about this young intellect identified as Bashar Aliyu from Sokoto -who designs dynamic and awesome car models. Luck has now caught up with the talented teenager as the Sokoto state governor -Aminu Tambuwal today awarded scholarship to him to study automotive design in an American University. Congrats to him http://www.nationalhelm.com/2016/02/governor-tambuwal-grants-us-scholarship.html
