The Minister of ‪Interior, Rtd LT Gen.Abdulrahman Dambazau‬ in the company Inspector General Police‬, Solomon Arase and other delegates -paid a visit to refugees at Malkohi IDP camp in Adamawa state. Dambazzau, who is on an assessment visits to military formations in the north, assured IDPs of returning home soon as the fight against insurgency in the region continues.

The minister interacted with the IDP's on skill acquisition programme as he donated learning materials including 25 sowing machining among other things.

A fuel tanker loaded with PMS crashed after Mallo on the Lagos-Ibadan express way yesterday morning. The accident caused an obstruction along the highway as road users took alternative routes. The obstruction was cleared by FRSC officials.

According to reports, several people, including security operatives have been killed in clashes following gubernatorial elections in Bayelsa state. Political thugs wet on rampage earlier today -attacking party supporters with machetes, axes, guns and other dangerous weapons.

Incumbent Governor Dickson Seriake of the People's Democratic Party PDP) won the vote by a landslide, defeating Timipre Sylva of the All Progressives Congress (APC) .

This is very tragic. This fatal accident occurred very early this morning at Yaounde-Bafoussam axis in Cameroon. The cause of the accident was not revealed as it reportedly left 19 dead, 6 injured, including 4 in serious condition. May the souls of the departed rest in peace....

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Federal Operations Unit (FOU) Zone ‘C’, Owerri –has recorded a total of four hundred and sixty-seven (467) seizures of illegally imported items with an overall Duty Paid Value (DPV) of two billion, seven hundred and nine million, eight hundred and seven thousand, three hundred and fifty-eight naira (N2,709,807,358) in the year 2015.

The Customs Area Controller of the Unit, Comptroller Dimka, Victor David, who gave a graphic detail of the seizures recorded while briefing newsmen in Owerri where some of the contraband items were deposited, said that while three hundred and sixteen (316) suspects were arrested in connection with the smuggling and one (1) convicted, twenty three (23) cases are now in court for the same purpose of which 7 cases were won by the Unit.

According to the Customs Area Controller, an analysis of the seizures made within the year involved 343 vehicles; 378 bales of bags/suitcases with 466 pieces; 6,472 pieces of imported used tyres; 8,855 cartons of foreign frozen poultry products; and 2,758 bales of imported textile materials. Others were 10 cartons of foreign beverages/juice; 2,584 bags of 50kg imported rice; 6,747 pairs of foot wears; 45 cartons of electrical/electronic equipment; 108 cartons of foreign vegetable oil; 1,387 packages of foreign furniture with 126 pieces; and 412 cartons of foreign soaps and detergents.

Even the devil himself will be shocked by the level of wickedness portrayed by these barbaric Boko Haram terrorists. According to a footage posted online, this woman was publicly beheaded for allegedly spying on the Islamic sect. She was interrogated by the militants in a local dialect (Hausa) before her head was removed to the cheers from the crowd who were heard shouting "Allah Kubar". Her head was displayed as a warning sign to others before her body was thrown into a shallow grave already prepared for her. So tragic.
