According to some WhatsApp users that received the invitation to upgrade to the WhatsApp Gold, they were told to upgrade their WhatsApp to a new premium version that is used only by “big celebrities”.
The WhatsApp Gold is alleged to offer premium packages to users of the app such as video chats, ability to send more that 100 pictures at once and delete messages after they have been sent.

This is false as users of WhatsApp who clicked on the link to install this version claimed that the link instead took them to virus infested sites that affected their smartphones softwares.

People who received the invitation are advised to delete the message immediately and install antivirus software downloaded directly from the Google Play Store to rid their phones of any virus. The link also contains malware which can be used to steal personal information from visitors.

According to What's app, the link in the site can disclose private data “to third person parties without your knowledge or authorisation”.

WhatsApp has advised its users who have downloaded this version to uninstall it immediately and automatically stopped their real WhatsApp from working for 24 hours to make sure users’ information is safe.

President Buhari has declared that any Fulani man found with AK-47 should be charged to court immediately. He said this during his meeting with traditional rulers at the Taraba State Government House, Jalingo.

Buhari also spoke about lack of unity and inability of the people to live together in peace as brothers and sisters.

He explained that politicians like himself as the President and Governor Darius Ishaku of Taraba State were visitors who might not stay in their position forever, but traditional rulers in Nigeria were the main land lords.

some Herdsmen furtively went on rampage, resulting in matcheting to death of 15 persons mainly women and children, while some houses were set ablaze.

15 Women and children have been confirmed dead by the Benue State Police Command a clash between some herdsmen and irate youths in Okpokwu LGA of Benue state yesterday March 5th.

A statement by the state police command says it received information earlier in the day that some Irate Youths from Omutu had engaged some Herdsmen in a fight, killing some cows, while two (2) Herdsmen were found missing.

A peace meeting was immediately initiated with the Chairman of the LGA and the Head of the Fulani Community in the area, while a Police Search Party went in search of the 2 missing Herdsmen. One of them was found dead.

Unfortunately, as the search and peace meeting were ongoing, some Herdsmen furtively went on rampage, resulting in matcheting to death of 15 persons mainly women and children, while some houses were set ablaze.

Four suspects have already been arrested in connection with the gruesome murder.

MMG Rick Ross has reportedly been placed on life support at a Miami-area hospital.
According to sources close to TMZ, the rapper was connected to a machine that is performing the functions of his heart and lungs. He's currently getting treatment in the cardiatric unit.

The insider describes the procedure as ECMO, or extracorporeal membrane oxygenation. It's a technique used to oxygenate his blood outside of his body, before it's pumped back into his body.

This latest development comes after initial reports indicated that the Rick Ross is down with possible Pneumonia after he was found breathing heavy and unresponsive on Thursday morning.

The management of Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH), Nairobi, Kenya, has suspended some staffs for reportedly performing a brain surgery on the wrong patient.

The scandal, which sparked an outpouring of horror on social media, is the latest drama to hit the Kenyatta National Hospital in recent weeks.

The hospital said the surgeon, as well as two nurses and an anaesthetist, had been suspended pending an investigation into the operation “on the wrong patient”. Health Minister Sicily Kariuki also suspended the CEO of the hospital over the issue.
An investigation by the Daily Nation newspaper revealed that two men had been taken to the hospital last Sunday.

The two men were wheeled into the hospital unconscious. One needed head surgery to remove a blood clot in his brain, while the other only required nursing and medication to heal a trauma swelling in his head, medically known as closed head injury.

Hours into the surgery doctors discovered there was no blood clot in the brain of their patient, and that they were in fact operating on the wrong man, the newspaper reported.

The hospital’s chief operating officer, Lily Koros, issued a statement announcing the suspension of four medics who were at work on that night. The hospital also expressed regret over the incident. “The hospital deeply regrets this event and has done all it can to ensure the safety and well being of the patient in question,” read the statement from the hospital, adding the patient was “in recovery and progressing well,” Koros said.

Kenyatta National Hospital is Kenya’s oldest and largest hospital, and also serves as a teaching hospital.

A doodle has been created by Google in honor of late former Nigeria coach, Stephen Keshi.

Google said the doodle was to recognise the legacy of the former coach Super Eagles captain who died on June 7, 2016, at 54.
The doodle illustrates the unique achievement of Keshi, who won the 1994 Africa Cup of Nations as player in and as a coach in 2013.

During his playing career, Keshi earned 60 caps for the Nigerian national football team, making him the nation’s second-most capped player at the time of his retirement.

He represented the country at the 1994 FIFA World Cup and the 1994 Africa Cup of Nations, captaining the Super Eagles to victory in the latter.

He also played club football in five countries, most notably Belgium, where he won the Belgian league championship with R.S.C. Anderlecht in 1991.
