According to Buzz SA, King Mswati’s new bride, 19-years-old Siphelele Mashwama is the daughter of Jabulile Mashwama, a Swaziland Cabinet Minister.

However, it’s a common tradition in Swaziland for the king to choose a wife every year through the annual Reed Dance ceremony. This Swazi and Zulu tradition is held in August or September anually.

In Swaziland, tens of thousands of unmarried and childless Swazi girls and women travel to Ludzidzini to participate in the eight-day event and would-be brides are publicly checked to ascertain that their virginity was still intact.

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) have suspended their 36-day old strike. The union embarked on strike on August 14th.
The President of the union, Professor Biodun Ogunyemi, announced that the union will suspend their action and give the federal government till the end of October so that the Federal government can fulfill all the promises it had made to the association.

He said failure to fulfill the agreement would result in the resumption of the strike.

The Union embarked on an indefinite strike action on August 14th, following government’s failure to implement the agreement reached with the union in November 2016.

Houston own Ayanna Williams, who has spent more than 23years growing her nails, each of which is just under two foot long have earned her a place in the Guinness World Records 2018 Edition.
Having spent most of her adult life growing her nails, The nail artist was first inspired by a friend and plans to continue growing them.
According to Dailymail, She also revealed that the most challenging thing about having extremely long fingernails, which can take up to one week to paint, is pulling up her trousers.

Rapper Lil' Wayne has been released three days after being hospitalized in Chicago, reportedly for epileptic seizures, advised by doctors to
take a few weeks off from work.

According to a report from TMZ, sources close to Weezy say the seizures were a result of an extremely busy work schedule mixed with lack of sleep. The incident had nothing to do with the Carter V rapper taking sizzurp (a codeine-based cough syrup AKA ‘lean’).

Our sources say Wayne’s been advised to avoid overdoing it on tour, and he’ll be taking 2 weeks off for some much needed R&R … his next show is September 23 and we’re told he’ll be there.

Wayne reportedly was healthy during back-to-back concerts before the seizures occurred but would hang out after shows and then head straight to the recording studio with no rest.

Weezy will now take a short break from touring before heading back on the road Sept. 23.

This is not the first time the American rapper is having this awful experience ,In 2016, Wayne suffered another bout of seizures on a private flight to California. FG Insists Every University Of Agriculture Student Must Have A Farm Before Graduation:

The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Audu Ogbeh in a recent meeting with representatives of the three institutions in Abuja disclosed that henceforth all students of agric. institutions must show their farms before they are allowed to graduate.

The Minister explained further that all agric. Undergraduates must be ready to contribute to the economic recovery plan of the present administration through diversification into agriculture.

“Now all undergraduates of the institutions must have a farm to qualify them for graduation. We do not forbid the teaching of electives like some accounting, business administration and so on, but only as subsidiaries.“The main courses must be agriculture, agronomy, botany, animal husbandry, forestry, fishery, plant entomology, breeding, cattle breed improvement, agric engineering, veterinary medicine,” he said

He said that the government is now trying to use academics to solve the problem of food security and will do that through innovations that are expected to come from these institutions. " We know many of our younger ones are not too keen on agriculture. It is not attractive enough, they claim. Do not worry about this, and other distractions.

“Attitudes will change because, undoubtedly, agriculture is a profitable business to those who choose the path of patience and endurance. They will come running once they see the prosperity and fulfillment in those who dare to try". He added.
