Christianity Etc › Re: Pastor Sign Fireman Arrested In Ritual Murder Case by xreal: 2:23pm On Jan 09, 2014
I had known there was something EVIL about this man, ever since I saw the documentary on ''Nigeria's preachers'' by Seyi Rhodes.
He made a staetement in the documentary, he said "god IS A GAME" and once you know how to play the game, you will be prosperous.

I trust nigeria's system of justice, we will not hear anything about the case anylonger; this will surely bring more 'customers' to his 'church'.

Christianity Etc › Re: Paying Tithe In A Foreign Currency. Right Or Wrong ? by xreal(op): 12:38pm On Sep 02, 2013
luluosas: Just to correct an impression. Paying tithe is NOT what you had in mind but, a definite AMOUNT of your income.
Now, paying your tithe in dollars does not represent pride in as much you are paying the correct amount. Thank you.
Well, thanks.

Baybe: Sign of pride ke?? Will the pastor open the envelope and show your tithe to everybody in the church huh undecided. Abi will they tell the congregation how much you payed as tithe undecided. Paying tithe is between you and your God whether na dollar, kobo, pound you use pay am. Money is money.

Happy new month!
My pastor wouldn't do such, neither would the congregation know. Thanks.
Sensible.
Happy New Month.
Christianity Etc › Paying Tithe In A Foreign Currency. Right Or Wrong ? by xreal(op):
As I prepared for today's church service, haven gotten ready, I discovered that I had no more Naira in my wallet, I then saw a US dollar note(in the same wallet) which is equivalent to the amount (in naira) which I had in mind to pay as my tithe. I then decided to envelope the dollars.

But, someone (a relative) who saw me while I envelope the dollars was mad and said it's a sign of pride.

Pls Nairalanders, is paying US dollars in church -as tithe, a sign of pride?

Car Talk › Re: The Longest Road Trip You've Driven? by xreal: 7:44am On Aug 20, 2013
Furthest I've driven so far was in my uni days.

Togo at Aflawu (ghana's border) to Kano, Kano state.

Route: Togo - Benin Republic - Lagos - Ogun - Oyo - Kwara - Jebba and up North to Kano.

I had my fun on the road for over 24 hours.
I was driving a German Machine, so expect nothing less. It was a BMW grin

“Last year alone, South Africa received a total of 73,282 Nigerian tourists, which is a 13.8percent increase from 2011 contributing about 720million Rands to the South African economy within the period,”
This is far over 12 billion Naira, in a year; we are so so rich.
