Whilst you are convincing him, you can proactively evaluate both your credentials and write your IELTS, who knows you may get ITA without his points.

@Debbiejosh, thanks for weighing in on this. It's hard for me o because his cousins would then be in a higher class. They gave him double promotion because they noticed that he became too distracted when he found learning too easy.

See it in a positive light. Your child will have an advantage over his peers and he will start on a shinning note.
This will boost his confidence and being a new environment he wont see it as stepping down (except YOU make him see it like that).

It's not that easy. A child in Grade 2 knows that he is in Grade 2 and was promoted from Grade 1. Telling the person that the new place would make you do Grade 1 again is just....

Thanks so much for the school tip. It;s just sad that my son would be stepped down 2 classes because of some age restriction. Don't they consider academic performance at all? Apart from that, the boredom that comes from relearning the same things he does very confidently might just make him lazy as he won't have to exert much energy. There has to be a way round that.

Those with bulging tummy, sit ups might do more harm than good if it's a case of diastasis rectii aka mummy tummy.You'll need special kind of exercise.

My doctor told me about it when i went for my 3 months check up. I was complaining that my tummy was getting bigger instead of going in which it did for my first son. She told me to lie on my back with knees bent and lift my neck a little. Then use 2 fingers to place at the center near the belly button. I felt some space there and she said i had that thing you wrote there. That i should stop with the tummy exercises and live with my blessings. cry

She didn't even offer hope that there was a way to reduce it. Said i can try body magic but that was it.

I am willing to learn any other exercise as i used to have a very flat tummy.

my dh always complain whenever I place my baby on her back, he said it is not good that I should always place her on her side but I do place her on her back whenever he is not around.

Side is actually best for a new born baby. I think i first read it here and then started practising it. Later, you can move to back when baby is about a month older. Then when she has good neck control then you can move her to lie face down.

When you get the notification in the email you used to register, respond with yes or whatever you want and the person will be able to send you emails which you can respond to.

Just to add, the bigger your room, the bigger the dehumidifier needs to be so that it can effectively cover the room.

Are you still at home with your baby? Have you started work? If you are still with baby, then you need to feed him before you feel your milk leaking. If you have started work, you can express more frequently or you have to start reducing your milk supply by breastfeeding less.

Me, i have turned a believer o. Union bank don change, maybe it's the branch near my house. Infact, i opened an account with them and bought treasury bills. They gave me almost primary market rate @ 17% whilst my bank was telling me that they can call in some favours and give me 14.5%.

1. Should I send them the transcript through my school? Only transcripts sent through schools would be accepted. Make sure it is sealed and stamped across the flap.
2. Can I send them the soft copy of my degree cert and through wat means (email or fax)? Fax them the soft copy once you register or once your transcript reaches them.
3. Can I pay using my naira master card? Thanks. No. You need a dollar denominated card.

That's why I want to dive into the pool on time before crs points starts to surge!

Please apply and join the pool. Leave out ECA for your wife totally until you get it. Where they ask if it has been assessed, write no and claim no points for it. Whenever she gets her ECa, you can update your information if it will still be necessary.

I used road to IELTS, YouTube and ieltsbuddy. I usually practiced after work on my way home every weekday for 1 month. It was more of tips and exam strategies.

I bought it on Jumia. It is a generic brand. No brand name. I bought the 1.5L size. It was about 20k. They also had the 500L for about 11k.

You can put it near her bed. It makes a slight humming sound which can be soothing or unnerving depending on her disposition.

Unfortunately, it's not full marks. The writing dropped my points. My husband hasn't written his own yet, so I was really hoping to boost my points with full marks. Just kinda disappointed that I didn't reach the last cut off. Thanks for the encouragement. I studied for a month so I thought it would be better.

Union bank. The rates are very good and you can do a kind of saving with insurance. When one of their marketers came to market the product to me, i dismissed them outright but later saw that it was better than the one i had opened with Diamond bank. DBL did not give me interest for the 4 years i had my son's account with them. They just started recently.

Thanks mothers for your good wishes. My baby is doing very well now and is even sleeping well with few issues.

@ Zaynie, i accept all you have said, it is very true. It is why i have been beating myself up. The past 2 weeks was kinda hectic for me is why i asked the maid to be bathing him and didn't notice the nappy rash. But what would make someone to go to the medicine cabinet to be taking cough syrup for the baby without anyone prescribing it? It still feels surreal. But i have learned a very valuable lesson.

I actually used an agency which is why i was able to change them until i got what i thought was a good one. Everything was just showmanship. The agency has refused to take ownership of the issue as they said nothing in their vetting process would have uncovered a pretender. Even verifying places she claimed to have worked before? I don't know.

Even with this, i am undeterred in building my business. I know that discussion is coming again with my husband on being a SAHM but I know how hard i have worked on building my client base. I will just be more circumspect in how i let the work immerse me.

I am doing that but i am being careful. I have my proof of funds but won't print out the bank statement and letter until i am ready to submit. Same with the reference letter from HR. Nigeria PCC doesn't need to be before hand but any foreign can start now especially if you have left the country and depending on validity.

My IELTS is out. It's not what i hoped for but it will have to suffice. LSRW 9,8,8,7. I am very disappointed in the writing and would have asked for a remark but i heard that you can't use the ielts result whilst the remark process is going on and that it takes minimum of 8 - 10 weeks.

You should have reported that test day. They will not listen to your complaint because you waited this long. You need to move on from here. Pele.
