Foreign work experience

25 (1) For the purposes of sections 23 and 24, foreign work experience is work experience that

(a) is acquired by a foreign national outside Canada in one or more occupations listed in Skill Type 0 Management Occupations or Skill Level A or B of the National Occupational Classification matrix;
(b) consists of full-time work experience, or the full-time equivalent for part-time work experience, with one or more employers;
(c) is acquired within the 10-year period preceding the day on which points are assigned to the foreign national under section 23 or subsection 24(1); and
(d) is remunerated by the payment of wages or a commission.


If part time work is not taken into consideration, how do you explain S.25(1)b of the above?

Hello am I also have a similar issue
. I was refused study visa in January this year due to insufficient funds. Am soon to get Ita now and I now have sufficient fund which came into my account in March. The source of the fund is from a property I rented out for 5 years.i intend to get Ita in july and apply in October when the funds will be seated in my account for more than 6 months. My question now is do I still need to proof source of funds even if the money is more than 6 months in my account?

Don't misunderstand me. I meant that she can't show 6 months POF especially as it hadn't been up to 6 months she had been refused for lack of funds. But my opinion would be to include how it came to be as not so long ago you didn't have enough funds for studies.

He cannot because EE makes it mandatory that you have to be in full time paid employment. Part time work whilst schooling will not suffice.

Most sane places would put lights there for people to see that a demarcation was starting especially at night. What if the person doesn't know that it's there? It's the govt's work to put up road signs.

If I was the one, I would rather ask my school yo resend and correct the name whilst informing WES that it's an error and the school will have to resend. But that's my opinion.

I have been denied Canada visa twice before my husband got ITA, infact the second application was still in progress while we submitted our PR application and I got refused along the line I ordered My gcm notes to know reason for refusal. Gcm notes pointed insufficient funds mainly as reason for refusal and ties. Am just disturbed does the past refusal have anything to do with the current PR application in anyway? Are PR applications treated independently or are they linked with previous refusals? Note: hubby is presently on student visa in Canada. The first refusal was a visit visa and the second was open work permit. Thanks

They will have your past refusal. When you apply for PR, make sure your POF is solid and does not show that you have had it for a long time. It would throw up a red flag. Your POF could come via sale of property and cars, etc. Because they already have it in their records that you don't have that kind of money from your normal work.

It's IQAS that evaluates it as 2 or more certificates not WES.

Yes. The line actually asks for ALL bank statements and not just where you have proof of funds. We can get away with asking for 2 or 3 statements but not including any at all would be fishy. My opinion sha.

Where I disagree with you is where you said obviously you can't put a car seat in front. Why can't you? Put a forward facing car seat in front, arrange the seat belts in the right positions, raise the chair high enough and then you can put a child like 5/6 years and above in front.

Why not register with the job bank so that you can get the code? Maybe job bank registration is mandatory for OINP.

Send only your certificate by fax. Don't send your transcript. Only your school can do that.

For Qlife, you have to book ahead but Children's practice deals with walk ins. Any of them is ok.

UK PCC is very easy and it's totally online (except you want to send by post). You don't need Lagos police for this and you can do it after your IELTS. For the US, you might want to wait till like mid July.

Your baby might have an ear infection. There is a style to feeding a baby while lying down. You have to elevate their heads well. What i do is put their heads on my arm and then raise with a breastfeeding pillow or normal pillow put in an angle. I started lying down to breastfeed from Day 1 my baby was born and i have not had issues. Maybe that as he grew older, the weight of his head on my arm causes it to spasm.

Take your baby to the hospital for antibiotics.

It's N68,000. Go to this link and select the date and place you want to write. Ensure it's for General Training and not for Academic. The next one is coming up on the 8th of July and deadline to register is 24th of June in Lagos.

It is compulsory to evaluate your degrees. Ensure your IELTS were for General Training and not for Academic.

for you to get your diploma result evaluated is a cost on its own. So u can evaluate the two but would be charged differently. Also note that transcript office will not send ur diploma result to WES. You need to go to the diploma unit that handles such.

You are not charged separately by WES. It is one charge. The only thing that will be done separately might be your school. You need to find out.

Ensure that they seal it and stamp across the flap.

boss, i also applied for a that 17th(speaking) and 24th Ielts exam but i got a mail saying it wiuld be on the 23rd and 24th respectively. Can you confirm it has not been rescheduled?

I am also scheduled to have mine on the 18th and the other on the 24th. The speaking test will be spread across everyone so each person will have their time slot which would be different from the nest person.

Do you obtain the PCC before receiving an ITA or you just obtain it which hoping to be issued an ITA. Am in Ghana and it seems from the CIC website that one might not need PCC to apply upon invitation but only upon written request from CIC. I realised its clearly required for Nigeria. Can any one please clarify this or if they know some one who obtained PCC from Ghana.

Does anyone have an answer?
