Miksi is not that bad. Although I prefer nido,normal Peak or Dano. It boils down to preferences. At 1, your baby should have other sources of calcium and not only milk. You can boil bones and give them the water to drink. The bone marrow is very nutritious.

Does it really matter? If he uses that first degree to get ITA does he need a higher evaluation?

I am not a fan of Peak123 or 456. That milk is way too sweet and causes babies to have runny tummy. A lot of people move straight to adult milk from 1 year and there has been no adverse reactions. They market such milk to children so that they can increase the price willy nily.

I used different milk like Nido, Dano, normal Peak, etc. I don't have a particular brand. But its good to look at the ingredients.

After hearing from the two parties, I have decided to take the risk of going for WES.

I am the guy that asked question about discrepancy in DOB in Transcipt and Passport.

Someone allayed my fear by claiming that my transcript is not a requirement by CIC.

However, I would like to know if the age on the transcript will not be revealed by the WES report.

During the filling in of information on the WES profile, I was asked about DOB. I guess this should correspond to the one on the transcript to be submitted to avoid long thing.

I tried to inquire from the Exam and Records about the procedure for the change of DOB on the transcript but it seems na long thing.

I would have just filled the DOB on the transcript on WES profile then fill my passport DOB on CIC but I dey fear misrepresentation.

Is it possible to get an affidavit to correct this later?

You need to be very careful here. Your DOB will show on the ECA that WES sends. They use the DOB sent by your school. It is better to put your
DOB as per your passport and have everything to be consistent with that whilst you look for way to sort this one out. Remember that you are claiming points for age. You don't want them to think you are manipulating your age.

I don't really know. I called up my account officer and told her to buy Tbills for me and advice me of the rate. So she did and the rate was 18% for a year. This was actually 2 months ago, forgot we were in June. She capitalized the interest as well.

Hello bigbroda, let me make an attempt at your questions.

1.) it depends on your bank, I think some have minimum amount as low as N100,000. But any amount you wish to invest must be in multiple of N10,000.

2.) you can request at anytime but bids for treasury bills are done every two weeks, so if you request say some days after the last bid, you'd have to wait for the next one that comes two weeks after the last. You can however place your request at any point. Your account would only be debited I think a day to when the treasury bill will be booked.

3.) go to your bank and tell their customer service representative you want to invest in treasury bills, you'd be given a form and advised on rate and the next bid date (usually within two weeks). Rate is usually higher than FD rates. In the past months, it's been around 13.5% (for 91days)

4.) minimum duration is 91days, not sure of maximum

5.) it cannot be terminated. (but I think it's transferable)

6.) it works like FD with a set return rate, but unlike FD that you get paid your principal and interest at the last day, for T-bills you actually get paid your interest on the 1st day. That is, say you invest N1m for 91days. You'd be debited N1m on the day of bid and credited your interest same day, then on maturity, you get your N1m credited.

7.) rate slightly varies across banks say +/- 0.05 percent. So, bank A might offer you 13.5% while bank B might offer at 13.45% while another offers 13.53%. Slight variation across bank as there is a set rate from FG, the variation is where the banks makes their spread.

However, from personal experience, I have realized FCMB as better rates compared to FBN and GTB per time (for same range of amount) even for FD. You'd be shocked to find 8% at FCMB and 5% at GTB, 5.5% at FBN for FD.

For infant car seat, it depends on how big your baby is. Some outgrow it by weight or by height. Infant car seats are meant to be rear facing. When you notice that your baby's legs are becoming cramped, you can either turn it to forward facing (if it is that type that can be turned) or get a toddler car seat.

Since my baby started this Tom brown, her poop is new extremely so strong, sometimes it comes out like stone, i give her water before and after every feed, though sometimes she hardly drinks after feeding.also, She take 120ml of the Tom brown 2-3 times a day, i think its too small, the highest she has eaten is 150ml, dunno how to increase her appetite, also heard that i should give her vitamin D now DAT she has started semi-solid.

My opinion is that she is taking too much of it. Give her once a day and then give other vegetables and fruits. Tom brown is millet, yellow corn and guinea corn. To me, it's like eating plenty garri and still expecting her poop to be soft.

I think you should wait at least 2/3 months. Tom brown is a mixture of different grains. My opinion is to start with single grain like rice at 4 months. Then you can start the Tom Brown at 6 months.

8.3kg is a good weight. That's the average for an 8month baby. So, she could have started earlier.

My baby started eating formula since 2 days old because oyinbo doctor said breast milk can't fill her and since then we have been using both.

You can start now or wait for the two weeks. If your baby already has good head control, is sitting up and has doubled his weight, you don't need to wait for the 6 months. You might even be underfeeding him.

I started at 4 months because he had teeth and was fighting his brother for his food. He likes food so much that i have to practically force him to drink milk and take cereal. In the evening, before i bathe him, i give him mashed beans or rice and stew. Then before he goes to bed, i give him a bottle of milk. He sleeps like a baby till the next day. Initially, he was waking up to suck as placebo so i started giving him water and then he stopped waking up.

What i usually do is to give them all those souvenirs that look expensive but are relatively cheap. Things like covered glass bowls, fancy mugs, picture frames, etc. Them plenty for Lagos Island.
