We Africans need to progressively develop our collective mindset to improve Our reality.

They don't necessarily need to love blacks. However,they must respect,once the Black race becomes successful. it means respect must be earned not gifted.

It's only mutual respect that can make all races to be genuinely friendly with each other.

PoliticsBuhari Writes Reps, Seeks Fresh $5.513bn Loan by xxxXXXxxx(op): 12:22pm On May 28, 2020
The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari ( retd. ), has written to the House of Representatives to request for the approval of fresh external borrowings totalling $ 5 . 513 bn .
Buhari , in the letter read by Speaker of the House of Representatives , Femi Gbajabiamila, at the plenary on Thursday , said the funds were for 2020 budget deficit , financing of critical projects , and some states of the federation .
The President also presented a revised 2020 Appropriation Bill and 2020 - 2022 Medium Term Expenditure Framework and Fiscal Strategy Paper .
The National Assembly had recently approved a loan of N850 bn for the Federal Government , while another of $ 22 . 79bn , which the Senate has already approved , is pending before the House.

https://punchng.com/breaking-buhari-writes-reps-seeks-fresh-5-513bn-loan/

why do these old people want to saddle generation yet unborn with another debt burden. They most often don't have creative ideas on how to improve the economy, least they resort to access foreign loans.

It's just heartrending that a country endowed with so much natural resources would always be seeking loans up and down,due to mismanagement of the available resources.

All the previous loans that have been obtained, what have they been able to do with them. Where are the world class infrastructures spread all around the country.

jara:
Envy Acknowledges Success As Jealousy Destroys Character

https://www.nairaland.com/5873458/envy-acknowledges-success-jealousy-destroys

We tend to envy certain qualities and characters that make others successful. As long as we emulate them and strive for the same or better qualities, we are motivated to a higher ground than we were. There is nothing wrong with that form of envy. Envy is an indication that you possess some admirable qualities or character worthy of emulation. It can also get you into trouble with those that are threatened by the fine characters. In those days, elders pray not only for your success but that it should surpass theirs. (E to wa e juwa lo).

Early in life, children are faced with Bullying that may not be easily defined as Envy when they develop their character in our community or environment that later influence or shape their behavior into adulthood. Friends are important. Indeed, we become curious if our children are shy or withdraw from friends. Just as we become worried if all they want to do is play. So, we remind them that all play and no work is as dangerous as all work and no play. The girls remind parents how strict we were when they were in their late teens. As they get into their mid twenties gunning for careers while playing innocent, we get nervous asking them when they are going to bring a boyfriend or girlfriend home. Say what?

Relationships are functional factors of social characters within all animals, so humans are no exception. But it comes at a cost in terms of envy and jealousy. When we make comparisons to improve and better our situation or attract one another, the community benefits. If we become mischievous to gain an upper hand, we run into a rat race and may poison the well.

There was this popular student at one of the universities. Friends liked him and he was generous almost to a fault. He came from a good home and his parents rewarded his good behavior and grades in college to encourage him. Who would want to hurt such an easy going spirit because friends like him? No one has everything. There is always a prettier attire, a better toy, a bigger farm or some more endowed person out there than you are. As long as we are not satisfied with what we have or achieved, the tendency is there to be envious. Even worse, some bully those that cannot fight back, just to feel better.

Young people have a free spirit but also naive thinking they are not vulnerable. It takes life experience, no matter how cautiously their parents or elders implore them. The worst nightmare of parents is the news that a child at any age, not to mention a college student, becomes the victim of an unfortunate accident.

It started early and developed into cancerous envy as a common enemy. We have to promote healthy behavior early in life to deter dysfunctional behavior into adulthood. Communities have a moral obligation to discourage behavior that may not be illegal but functionally antisocial.

By the time you are told to take your bike home because friends or bullies consider you a snub or above their level, you may start wondering if the fault is yours or theirs. Therefore, we have people that try to play down their success (a few play dumb) in order to prevent jealousy for peace sake. They go out of their way to make friends around them comfortable, almost begging for amicable interaction. You cannot satisfy the wishes and caprices of people whose only motive is to control you. The more you bend and try to please them, the more demands they make. They are best tolerated at a distance.

What destroys us is the negativity of trying to bring good folks down to a lower level, out of jealousy. It is the fear of losing to others what we cherried selfishly as useful characters. We may destroy the fine character and good qualities we have left in us or lose it all by trying to get it back through any means necessary. If you have a friend, set him free. If she is yours, she will stay, fly away or come back to you. It becomes your choice to take her or him back if it is worth the trouble.

Wait O! Why do two rich people befriend or marry each other? One of them should be poor or ugly, at least! There are people out there that hate to see two successful people together. Never keep anyone by force or threat if she is not voluntarily yours. It is conflicting enough when parents reject either of you based on idiosyncrasy, myth, custom or age. Birth price or dowry is a different topic. Parents have to realize their objection to their child's lover is an invitation to rebel. If you elope, after getting off your high, one of you would wonder if it is all worth the alienation of families and friends. Before giving up on relatives, better sensitize them to your choice in order to neutralize their fear. They will later appreciate your efforts.

On our way to careers and higher responsibilities, we must lose some friends on the way and some friends will drop us after promotion to the next class. Goals and priorities change. Some people are going to the extreme to keep casual, platonic and amorous relationships, real or imagine. We have friends and colleagues at work and community that become envious of one another while others, out of jealousy demand loyalty or attention they cannot give or deserve. Sometimes it can be as petty as being the favorite of the boss. Remember, as much as our parents tried to love us equally, we know their favorite.

Another group are colleagues that know you make about the same salary but cannot understand how you manage your money better than they do. Others calculate how much you make by your appearance and figure out how much you should give. Envy creeps up if you cut your coat according to your means. Any attempt to please them would burst your pocket. If you burst, they would be the first to ridicule you. Envy could be dangerous if you do not know how to love some folks from a distance.

Unfortunately, no matter what you do, all lizards lie on their bellies, we do not know which has (bad belle) an arching stomach, according to a Yoruba adage. Many research into friendships and envy informed us to rely on old or childhood friends and some families as we get older. It gives us enough years to pick and choose characters that may fit our needs as we mature, to weed out some unpredictable moves, envy or jealousy. While it is true that you should keep your friends close and your enemies closer; no one in their matured age needs unnecessary hassles and distractions.

When you look back from cradle to grave and examine the causes of Envy and Jealousy, it boils down to Wealth, Jobs, Partners, gorgeous Bodies, Cars, Abodes

or Vanities that could not buy Death, Peace of Mind or Heath.
This is a great piece,I'm still trying to comprehend it all. Thumbs up to OP!
RomanceRe: Having Sex With Multiple Women Is Not An Accomplishment. by xxxXXXxxx: 8:31am On May 21, 2020
Bozopan:
This is to all players, fuçk boys and so called redpill men who think that having sex with many women is an accomplishment. I hate to break it to you guys, but fucking pussy isn't something to be proud of.

It's only people who make women and sex the center of their lives that regard getting a girl to pull her pant for them as an accomplishment. You look back at your body count and carry your shoulders high like you've acheived something significant. You gather in your little groups and give yourself pats of validation because you were able to fuçk a girl. How sad.

You all are pathetic. There is nothing special about having sex with a lady. Look around you; animals like dogs, goats and chickens have sex all the time with different members of their species. Do you have more sex than them? Why then is sex something you are proud of? All you are doing is satisfying a primal need, which isn't that much of a big deal.

Get your priorities straight.

Great men don't see sex as an accomplishment, rather they see strides, inventions, career progress and of course financial success as accomplishments. Look at history, tell me someone who has been remembered for how many girls he fuçked. Tell me anyone who's name has been written in the sands because he managed to fuçk many girls in his life time.

You all claim girls are trash and yet you see having sex with these same girls as an accomplishment? It's almost like going to a store and seeing a product you don't value and have spent time criticizing, and then you still purchase it and celebrate the fact that you purchased it.

What's there to be proud about fuçking a girl everyone has fuçked already? What's there to be proud about sticking your diçk in a pussy many other guys will easily stick theirs in if they play their cards well?

You can fuçk as much as you want but don't think that you are more of a man for getting pussy. Don't ever think that you are a better man than other guys who aren't getting as much pussy. This isn't what makes you a better man. What makes you a better man is being someone people look up to, someone young men aspire to become because of the impact and progress you've made in your field of expertise.
Who gives a fuçk how many girls Dangote or Zuckerburg have fuçked? Do you think they would ever see sex as something to be proud of?

Stop wasting your life banging pussy and focus on achieving something worth being proud of; something your sons and daughters would be proud of boasting to their peers about.
This is a very reasonable opinion,it couldn't have been said in a better way. I love the ladies though!

Science/TechnologySenegal Students Invent Automatic Sanitiser Dispensers by xxxXXXxxx(op): 2:33pm On May 13, 2020
Senegalese engineering students are throwing themselves at the West African state ’ s growing coronavirus problem with inventions such as automatic sanitiser dispensers and medical robots .
Youngsters from a top engineering school in the capital Dakar have turned their technical skills toward easing pressure on the wards — and they are already in talks with hospitals over some of their innovations .
One example is a small robot, dubbed ‘ Dr. Car’ , which will be able to measure patients’ blood pressure and temperature, according to students from Dakar ’ s Ecole Superieure Polytechnique (ESP ).
The university is considered one of West Africa ’ s best for engineering and technology, and is highly selective , with 28 nationalities represented among its 4 , 000 students .
Gianna Andjembe , a masters student in electrical engineering , demonstrates how an automatic hand -sanitiser dispenser he designed works at Dakar ’ s Ecole Superieur de Polytechnique (ESP ) in Dakar on May 8 , 2020 . ( Photo by Seyllou / AFP )
Lamine Mouhamed Kebe , one of the students who conceived the robot, said the machine would reduce the exposure of doctors and nurses to infected patients and use of expensive protective gear .
“At a certain point … we realised that medical equipment was limited , ” the 23- year- old added. “We can do something ”.
Guided by a mounted camera and controlled via an app , doctors will also be able to communicate with patients through the robot , Kebe said , potentially allowing them to treat people isolated in hard- to -reach rural areas .
Senegal ’ s coronavirus outbreak pales in comparison to the situation in virus - stricken Europe and the United States .
But after a slow start, confirmed cases in the nation of some 16 million people are increasing .
And as with other poor countries in the region, there are fears that Senegal is ill equipped to handle a large outbreak.
Authorities have recorded more than 1 , 700 cases to date, including 19 fatalities . Hospital staff in Dakar are also beginning to contract COVID - 19.
Faced with an increased threat , frontline Senegalese doctors are taking the young engineers seriously .
An initial prototype designed by the students was essentially a small mobile trolley , designed to carry equipment or meals to patients.
But Abdoulaye Bousso , the head of an emergency ward in a Dakar hospital, asked to redesign it to include mechanical arms capable of conducting medical tests — an upgrade the students are working on now .
“It ’ s a whole process , ” Bousso said , adding that the robot could cut down on their use of expensive bibs and gowns, which must be thrown away.
– Focus on practicality - Ndiaga Ndiaye , an ESP professor in charge of marketing the inventions , said that the university has long emphasised practical projects and entrepreneurship , which meant students were poised to act when the virus broke out .
The robot is “ far from being a gadget , ” he said , and could be produced at a larger scale once ready.
“We are a public institution . There is one concept that binds us all together , and that is service to the community , ” he said .
Other students have devised simpler devices that they also hope will battle the disease in Senegal .
Gianna Andjembe, a masters student in electrical engineering , has designed an automatic hand - sanitiser dispenser that he said could reduce the need for staff in schools and hospitals to supervise hand - washing.
“It ’ s very simple , it’ s basic, ” said the 26- year- old .
“As scientists, as engineers , we have to meet the challenges and really take our destiny into our own hands, ” Andjembe added.
The coronavirus has upended ESP students ’ lives .
Lectures are now held over video and students who used to tinker in labs until late at night must now rush home owing to a dusk- to - dawn curfew .
But the crisis has also given the young engineers a sense of purpose.
“What has changed is the responsibility , ” robotmaker Kebe said before adding that the students also felt “much more patriotism

HealthRe: Covid 19 - The Difference Between Medication And Vaccination by xxxXXXxxx: 12:40pm On May 13, 2020
IBNgemini:
It seems even the woke and enlighten Nigerians goof when it comes to differentiating between a vaccine and a drug. I was on the Madagascar trend on twitter earlier today, I saw so many tweets from the so called INFLUENCERS saying we already have a cure in Madagascar organics, we don't need a vaccine. The Madagascar cure might be effective, but there are clinical and scientific backup on how it cures CoVid 19. The bedrock of modern medicine is MECHANISM, well the crux of this article is not on the Madagascar cure, it is to enlighten people on the difference between a vaccine and a drug.

What are vaccines?
In simple term vaccines are altered, inactive or killed microorganisms that are injected into the body system in order to elicit an immune response without disease manifestation. What this means is that a vaccine contains that particular virus or microbe(microorganism) responsible for a disease, e.g Smallpox virus is responsible for causing smallpox, the vaccine for smallpox will contain either a killed Smallpox virus or an altered Smallpox virus which has been weakened or ripped off its pathogenicity(ability to cause disease) to still capable of inciting an immune response.

The goal behind vaccination is not to treat you against the disease, but to prime your immune system in a way that when it encounters the real virus, the immune system will quickly ward off the virus because it is not a new thing to the system. Just picture this as "ONCE BITTEN TWICE SHY SCENARIO," but in actual sense we were never beaten, because our first exposure to the virus which was the vaccine which did not lead to disease manifestation, unlike a natural kind of immunity where you fall sick during the first exposure to the virus, but after recovery(if you are lucky) your body will be primed against the virus, and any subsequent exposure your body already knows what it is dealing with and fight it off quickly.

So, how does this differ from medication?
By medication I mean therapeutic drugs, organics(herbs) etc. What a drug does it to cure you after you have been infected or probably diseased, it assists your immune system in fighting the virus, different kinds of drugs have different mechanisms by which they help in curing a particular disease. Some drugs are specific in the disease they treat, some have wide range,but in whatever a drug does it is not in its place to prevent from encountering the disease.

Clearly we can see the difference vaccines prevent you from falling sick, while drugs help you manage or get you back up after you have falling sick. A vaccine is useless to someone who is already sick, because there is nothing to prevent, but a drug will come in handy to salvage the situation. A healthy person has no business talking a drug hoping it is will be prevent them from having the disease, rather the person should be vaccinated so he/she won't fall sick when he/she encounters the real virus.

We can see the ultimate goal to fight this pandemic is to prevent its spread via vaccination. PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE.

Thank You.
I liked ur enlightening article, but I'm not gonna start campaigning for global vaccination amid this pandemic.

Veebliz:
Some grammatical mistakes you make and things you say wrong.

Hello, everyone. Before I shoot, I’d like you to read this:

After learning some Spanish and having to correct a lot of English in WhatsApp groups, I’ve discovered that some of us say some things wrong. Some like saying things like “English is not our language”, “Who English epp? (Who does English help?)” “Does it add money to my account?” especially when you correct them. But most of these are said out of ignorance. English is not your language, but why do you use it? English has helped a lot of people, YES! It has. Why else do we use English to teach at school? In fact, more research has been done in English than in any other language, 98% of scientific materials published today are in English, I’m not saying that other languages are inferior, but the truth is that, some people do need to stop being ignorant and face it – English really DOES matter…and YES – it can add money to your account in so many ways; you think about it.

Yeah, I feel like it’s important for me to add this: I’ve come across some Nigerians who speak English as their first tongue; I do as well, so the idea of saying English is not our language doesn’t make any sense at all. I have no problem with anybody speaking any indigenous language.

The English language is not a foreign language to Nigeria, it has mixed with our cultures in a unique way, and therefore has become ours – one of our languages, even though I don’t speak the language of my indigenous tribe, I still have some of their cultural values instilled in me, I cherish and respect them.

Aha! I must not skip this; I've interacted with Brits and Americans on the internet, so I see them make silly mistakes as well, but the ones I've written here are some of the mistakes I see my country people make often. Let’s see some of the grammatical mistakes people make and things they say wrong.

1) The verb – to make;

Of course, you would have definitely seen some people make mistakes with this verb, it’s common to hear people say things like:
“This picture makes me TO remember my past.”
“Eating all the time will make you TO be fat.”
“If you use this medicine, it will make you TO sleep.”
I am sure you’ve already spotted the mistake, right? – Yeah, I made it obvious. The verb – to make doesn’t take “to” after it, so the correct thing to say in each sentence above is: “This picture makes me remember my past.”
“Eating all the time will make you (be) fat” – in this kind of sentence, it’s more common and therefore more natural to skip the verb – “be”.
“If you use this medicine, it will make you sleep.”
The only time it’s fine to use “TO” after the verb – to make is when it is in the passive; for example, “I was made TO kneel down yesterday at school.” NOT I was made kneel down yesterday at school.”

2) The verb – to enable;

This verb requires “to” after it, but it is so amusing that some people would leave out “to” using this verb but would use it with the verb “to make”.
Here is an example: “This software will enable you TO work on your computer efficiently.” NOT “This software will enable you work on your computer efficiently.”

3) The verb – to allow;

This verb also requires “to” after it.
Here is an example: “My parents will not allow me TO go out today.” NOT “My parents will not allow me go out today.”

4) The verb – to reply;

The mistakes made with this verb are pretty common, this verb is intransitive, which means it cannot go with a direct object, therefore, it needs a preposition for it to make sense, and therefore, you reply TO somebody or TO something. NOT reply somebody or something.
“Why didn’t you reply my messages?” is WRONG. The correct thing is: “Why didn’t you reply TO my messages?”

5) The idiom – to be about to do something;

Hahahaha , I remember hearing someone say: “I was just about asking same thing.” Well, the correct thing is: “I was just about TO ask you THE same thing.”

6) The noun – stuff;

Yeah! This particular noun is such a pain in the ass for some people, it is uncountable, so, it cannot take an S after it and an indefinite article can’t be used with it either.
“Please give me five minutes – I want to get my STUFF” NOT “Please give me five minutes – I want to get my stuffs”.
“Where did you get all this stuff?” NOT “Where did you get all these stuffs?”
“Where IS all my stuff?” NOT “Where are all my stuffs?”
“This is good stuff.” NOT “This is a good stuff.”
The only context where stuff can take an S is if it’s used as a verb: “Ade always stuffs himself with so much junk food.”

7) The nouns – slang and jargon;

English is weird, yeah…but it’s not hard. So many people make mistakes with these nouns - These nouns are uncountable – yeah you read it right; UNCOUNTABLE.
I remember reading an article sometime ago, it had: “20 slangs you will hear in Nigeria” as its title: If you’ve been reading this article carefully, you will have known what is wrong with the sentence.
Numbers can’t be used with uncountable nouns, so the correct thing is: “20 SLANG WORDS/EXPRESSIONS/TERMS you will hear in Nigeria”. Or simply put: “Some slang you will hear in Nigeria.” – So you can use “some” with uncountable nouns and countable nouns as well.
“That is internet slang.” NOT “That is an internet slang.”
“Too much slang was used in the movie.” NOT “Too many slangs were used in the movie.”
“His messages were full of jargon.” NOT “His messages were full of jargons.”

8 ) The noun – information;

I don’t need to explain this, just keep it in mind that it is UNCOUNTABLE.
“Thank you for that information.” NOT “Thank you for those informations”
“What a wonderful piece of information!” NOT “What a wonderful information!”
“I want to share some information with you.” NOT “I want to share you an information.”

9) The noun – advice;

This is uncountable as well: make sure you do not mistake it for the verb: advise. The noun is spelt with a C and the verb with an S.
“I need (some) advice from you.” NOT “I need some advices from you.” NOT “I need an advice from you.”

10) All what;

If you’ve been saying this, then you need to STOP saying it! This is WRONG! It should be either: “All (that)” or “All OF what”.
“All (that) I’ve been saying is that….” NOT “All what I’ve been saying is that…”

11) The noun – headache;

Just as people make mistakes with uncountable nouns, they also do the same thing with countable nouns – it’s very common to hear “I am having headache”. This sentence is wrong. It should be: “I have a headache.”

12) The noun – news;

This is an uncountable noun. wink
“This is good news!” NOT “This is a good news!”

13) The expression – in the twinkling of an eye;

I’ve heard and seen people say: “In the twinkle of an eye.” – This is wrong of course: it should be: “In the twinkling of an eye.”

14) The famous – “I don’t get”.

Okay, I don’t want to be too annoying because I KNOW that some will get angry reading this article, but guess what? Learning never ends. We are used to saying this, but you should know that the verb – to get in this case is transitive, so it needs an object to sound okay.
So I recommend that you start saying: “I don’t get IT.”
Saying “I don’t get” has always sounded weird to me, I’ve asked some foreigners just to be sure it's not just me but they said it sounded weird to them as well.

15) The noun – furniture;

I usually see furniture makers put up a sign like “ABC furnitures.”
This doesn’t work in English; it’s an uncountable noun, so you already know the drill.
“They like playing with furniture.” NOT “They like playing with furnitures.”

I am Nigerian, so I speak more Nigerian English, I don’t hate it, I just like when people make good use of it because I know what it feels like when you murder someone's language. When I was in junior secondary school, I remember saying something wrong in Yoruba while I was playing with my friends, you needed to have seen how three of them were throwing corrections at me. (
There are so many people who care about mistakes – especially in English.
These are just a few of the mistakes. I could keep on writing and writing, but I will leave it here.
So, I hope this helps your English if you’ve been saying it wrong.

Ermmmm, one last thing before the final full stop: This is for people who can’t do without starting a sentence with or using “Am”; What exactly is wrong? Please stop making this horrible mistake, if you can’t use the contraction: “I’m…” then use: “I am…”
It’s not hard work. The pronoun I is just one letter.

Thanks for reading.

Veebliz.
what about these

"come on in" or "come in"
EducationRe: Some Grammatical Mistakes You Make And Things You Say Wrong. by xxxXXXxxx: 3:01pm On May 06, 2020
placeofallure:
The choice of articles to use depends on the letters which begin the word.

We have Definite Article (The) and the Indefinite Article (A, An)

We use ''a' for words beginning with a consonant - b,c,d,f,g,h,j,k,l,m,n,p,q,r,s,t,v,w,x,z
We can say: a bag, a computer, a table etc.

We also use 'a' for vowels which sound like consonants. E.g. a union, a European, a uniform etc

We use 'an' for vowels -a,e,I,o,u
We can say: an egg, an orange, an uncle etc

We can also use 'an' for the letter 'h' when it is silent.
Now, in all of the English language vocabulary, we have only 4 words with the silent 'h' They are: an hour, an honour, an honest...boy, man or woman, an heir.

Therefore it's incorrect to say: an hospital, an happy ....., an habit etc.

Concerning the SOS part, you're correct the letter 'S' has a vowel sound because you are spelling the Acronym, something like: Es...O...Es. imagine you want to say the word 'estate' The correct thing to say of course is an SOS.

I hope this helps. Thanks.
but an is sometimes used for herb.

The Ondo State Government has rejected expired bags of rice from the 1 , 800 bags sent to the state by the Federal Government .
The FG sent about 1 , 800 bags of rice and vegetable oil to the state as part of measures to cushion the effect of the COVID - 19 lockdown in the country.
The state Governor , Mr Rotimi Akeredolu , has ordered the return of some bags of rice sent to the state by the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management as they were found to have expired .
Speaking on the development , the Secretary of the state palliative committee , Mr Alex Kalejaiye , confirmed that some of the bags of rice had expired and were no longer fit for consumption .
According to him , the bad rice will be separated from the good ones and the good ones will be taken to the laboratory to ascertain if they were fit for human consumption .
He said , “We discovered that some of the bags have expired and not good for consumption at all, so we are separating them from the ones that are still manageable for consumption . After this , we will still take the ones that appear good to the laboratory to test if they are fit for consumption . ”
It was gathered that when it was discovered that some of the rice had expired , the governor reportedly ordered that they should be rejected .
Akeredolu , who officially received the palliative items at the Government House ground , Alagbaka from the state coordinating unit of the Youths Empowerment and Social Support Operations , last week , was said to have expressed displeasure over the development .
Kalejaiye said , “ They brought many bags of rice , we just carried out random check on them to discover the ones that are not good . What we are trying to do is to separate those ones that appeared bad from those ones that appeared good then we will carry out laboratory test on them to ascertain whether they are safe for consumption before giving them out to our people .
“Some are expired , it is even written on the bags but some are not expired but it seemed they were not properly stored, and those ones are not properly stored would not be good to be given to our people without carrying out the laboratory test .
“ We will separate the extremely bad ones from the rest and we will carry out the laboratory test on those ones that appear good , to ascertain how safe they are for consumption . But the extremely bad ones , we don't even need to do test on them , we will return them .
“We will meet tomorrow (today ) to decide when to return them , you know we can ’t do it without the consent of Mr Governor ."

Some people recently criticized the Oyo state government for this same action taken by the Ondo sate government,has the Oyo state government not been vindicated now?
Why donate expired and substandard product in the first place. So,the federal ministry/agency in charge of these palliatives couldn't examine them thoroughly before sending them to the states.
Nigerians wake up! these people don't care.

This just shows alotta people don't know about the hierarchy of governance, it's obvious the caricature is wrong. All arms of government are technically equal in power;be it,the executive,legislature,and judiciary.
With that said, how can anyone compare a governor to a senator? if you look at it from an election perspective, leaving the monetary remuneration aside;a governor test his/her popularity in a whole state while a senator is confine to just a senatorial district in such a state.
A gubernatorial position will always be more important that a senatorial one in a democratic government.
