There was this peculiar experience l had while trying to withdraw from an ATM machine in lkorodu. Due to the heavy traffic l had gotten into while coming from Oshodi,by the time l got to Benson l suddenly realized that the fuel will not take me home. I decided to use my card to withdraw 3k for supplement and other stuff. Unfortunately there was no service at my bank,l decided to try the Fidelity Bank;l punched-in the necessary buttons,and waited.l can hear the usual humming sound indicating that the money is on it's way out.l had my purse out already, the slot panel opened thrusting the notes out.As l stretched my hand to remove the cash,all of a sudden; just like 'open sesame' (Only people conversant with the Arabian Nights book-Alibaba & Forty Thieves will understand)the flip cover of the dispensing slot of the machine just snapped shut,taking with it my 3k;all these is not up to 5 seconds. l stood there transfixed like l had just seen an apparition. The beeping sound asking me if l wanted to perform another operation brought me back to my senses, l checked my balance and lo and behold, l have been debited. I removed my card and crossed to the Zenith Bank just opposite, where l eventually successfully carried out the transaction. It's such a strange incident that I didn't even bother to report because I don't want to look stupid,but l still find it unbelievable myself each time l flashback at this incident. It was last July.

From the quality of the picture, it's easy to conclude that the OP is far from the hearing distance of the scenery,so little details is deducible here without the conversation records. That the man was on his knee begging doesn't necessarily mean that he's begging for money. He might be begging for forgiveness, the possibility of them been acquainted cannot be ruled out.

The bus is moving toward the right hand side or East direction judging by the shape of the two windscreen.The shape of the windscreen on the left is straight/upright while the one at the right is slanted slightly which is a deadly giveaway.

My Maths teacher back then in secondary school had this way of punishing us anytime we failed to do our Maths assignment. He would ask us to copy 4 pages from Geoffrey & Siddons and submit it to him the following day.Now, Geoffrey & Siddons is a four figure table we are using then in our school courtesy of Mr Oyadina our Maths teacher. He blatantly refused to use the WAEC recommended copies stating that they were full of errors.l remember sleepless nights l had then copying out those tiny figures and woe betide you if you fail to submit it promptly first thing the following day.l served this punishment for like 8 times then-that till now l know all the Logarithm, Antilogarithm, Cosine,Sine etc by heart.l later discovered that he was right about the erroneous WAEC model four figure table then.

If u look at the said Madam long and critical enough, u will know that she is one of those newly- get rich lazy women. Real rich people don't treat their domestic helps/staff anyhow. It's only the money-miss-roads that abuse their domestic staffs.Back then when l was on the street;in my struggling years,before l eventually got admission(had several years of interlude between my ssce & admission)l was working for a woman as a resident driver.U know as a resident driver your job description cut across a lot of domestic chores like tending to d flowers & lawn washing cars,attending to the generator during black out etc.The woman though a widow is as wicked as d devil itself.l suffered many untold maltreatment in her hand.Anywhere we go in Lagos,immediately l off the engine and she get down,she will snap her fingers at me and collect the car key.She will then lock and secure the car by herself leaving me outside to hang around.There was a day l drove her to a spa at Ajao Estate near Chivita,it started raining heavily minutes after she went inside.l have no where to take shelter.l managed to huddle myself inside one aboki kiosk from whom l had bought TomTom earlier.She came back and we started our journey back home.The next thing l saw was her outstretched feet from her owner corner at the back.She placed them on the dashboard at the surface of the AC vent.The car was 1999 Pontiac Transporter. I wept inwardly and when l got her back home safely,l packed my few odds and ends l have there in my lodge and left for good.Now the woman l got to know later came into money just because her only daughter then was into aristo runs back then at Mapoly. News had it that one of our 'dishonorables' at the Ogun State House of Assembly was knacking her kitty Kat. This op didn't know the difference between small-time swindlers and the real 'one chance' maestros. While l totally condemn the excesses of the Naval officers, l support the sacking of that section of the Majidun Community harsh it may sounds.That place is notorietly known for the bunkery activities,over 70% of the residents there engaged in the illicit act especially the young ones.lt started last October(5th to be exact)during the Sallah break when the the Naval men bursted their activities.A very serious traffic gridlock was caused in the process.Motorists spent about 3hrs from Haruna bus stop to Ogolonto which is just about 1km. There was no single house in that place where at least a 50ltrs of fuel was not found.Loads of drums & jerrycans were carted out during the invation(l was in the traffic and witnessed it all)lt is a known fact in lkorodu that you can easily get fuel be it diesel or petrol at any time in that place at ridiclous prices too.Another place like that is lshawo area of Agric.

l once got this kinda message with the instructions to call one Mr Johnson.Luckily l have the truecaller app installed on my phone and l ran the number on it. Lo and behold it gave the true name of the guy as Steve Abuchi and immediately he picked up l called him with his real name which made him surprised. l threatened him that l work with the SARS and l had a team already watching on him and his gang and that we are very close to round them up.He started begging and he revealed a lot of things to me. One important one I got from him is that they usually get the phone nos of their victims from the bank transaction registers. So folks stop giving out ur phone numbers on the deposit transaction registers anytime you make a deposit.You can even refuse to fill it(like l do sometimes) because you are only helping the teller with his job by filling it in the first place-to assist his balancing processes at the end of the banking hours. Filling it have got nothing to do with your transaction.The phone number you filled on the deposit slip is suffice for the bank to get in touch with you in case of errors in transaction.
