Sisiekomi: Don't mind my grammar ooo. So my friends have been disturbing me to leave Jekende in Lekki area where i stay and come down to Ajah area where they said houses are cheaper. I and my friend were introduced to an agent who after many attempts landed us to this compound at No 7 Sanni Ashimiu close (c/o Jisoro) in Ologunfe-Awoyaya, Ibeju-Lekki in Lagos State. Seeing that this room is a virgin room, we paid despite that there were lots of work to be still done by the landlord who is a lawyer, we made a big mistake by not asking other tenants how it goes there. Two weeks past the landlord started avoiding our calls to come and complete our one-room self-contained. when a lady packed out the landlord asked us to pack into this room, only for us to find out that water drops from the room, the room is leaking. and from the complaints by some of the tenants who are there, they said its normal thing for all the rooms to be leaking water. when i encountered one of the men that were working for him in the compound, he just told me that the landlord buys second-hand WC, zinc, wood, pako, even tiles, the doors kitchen and toilet doors were made of wood framed with PVC. after we threatened the landlord he gave us our money and we packed out. I only came up here because last week i was asked by a female friend of mine to go accompany her to where she wants to pay for a room. that she will pay and the landlord will complete it for her within one week. to my greatest surprise when we got to the location it turns out to be the same compound that at the front gate is a signpost ''TO LET'' which according to the agent that brought me it has been there since 5years now. the landlord likes it when people pack in and leaves after one year so that he will collect his agreement money. so when we got there that day i noticed that another building is been erected here without proper foundation, and that's where this my babe wants to pay. we noticed that PVC is been used with wood to do the decking. PVC in place of wood to deck An upstairs. Out of anger, I decided to take photos and put it up here to save the lives of people. it could be my relative that will rent that room tomorrow. when we went to a shop down the street to buy something, we told them what is going on in the compound. we were told there that what we saw is even small. that the landlord paid Northerners 5k to pack sand from the street since the street is interlocked. that's what they use in the building. and there is a known stuff like the tenants been afraid of the landlord because he will always tell them that he is a lawyer and so nobody can do him anything. Please HELP ME PaSS THIS MESSaGE TO THE appropriate authorities TO SaVE PEOPLES LIFE. Take your time and feast on photos of both the building i once rented and the one he is building now This compound belongs to certain Barr. IWUCHUKWU CHINWEIKPE that guy is very popular and shld not b doing such now |

shinethelight: Good morning everyone. i hope someone can help me. Today is the final day for registration, so i'm in a bot of a hurry.
I am an M.S.C Info tech Student who is terribly disenchanted with the school and is considering my options.
There are so many mistakes on the websites and portals, its difficult to figure out what is true and what isn't.
Visiting the faculty to get information is even worse as that option is only plausible for people who do not have a regular 9-5 job. Faculty staff will not give you an appointment, and they are rarely ever on seat. whenever you get to see or meet them, most of them are terribly dismissive.
I understand that the university is terribly understaffed and many of the administrators are under a lot of pressure, but still.
If only they will use technology to work smarter, maybe things would be more efficient.
I remember once asking some lady who works in our faculty if i could submit my project topics via an email....after-all NOUN is an online university created for distance learning, is it not? While i cannot quote her response to me word-for-word, i remember it was akin to treating me like we had decades of bad blood between us.
Instead, NOUN insists on using paper for everything.
1) does GST 807 carry any credit unit? i've read the credit unit assigned for this course is 0, as shown on http://nouedu.net/registerable_admin/M.Sc.%20Information%20Technology?field_faculty_name_value=Sciences
2) is the minimum total credit units required for graduation 30 or 40 for M.Sc Info Tech? I've also read that it is 40, even though it says 30 as shown on the bottom of the page at http://nouedu.net/programmes/msc-information-technology
3) Has any of you good people heard of anyone who successfully had his/her result changed after requesting for a remarking of exam scripts.
I ask because i have only a few hours to decide btw paying another 18k for semester registration + 4k to re-register exams for CIT 834 & 854 which i wrote well enough to believe i did not deserve an F or paying 20k for remarking of 2 scripts.
PLS HELP OOO.
cc: Anyone with NOUN Related Experience U can't say that again. atimes, what is said on the site is different from what the staff in the school are saying. the other day, I complained here and someone chose to insult me instead |

nams77: This is a hard call personally. Both cars are great but then I will like to share my personal opinion ( note that I'm not a car guru or mechanic) Some foreign online users complained of failed transmission in the Civic and there are also widely mentioned oil shortage in the Corolla ...but is there any car without issues.what will tilt my consideration in favor of the Civic is the spacious interior as a family man. Both are also great fuel savers. Can't really talk about costs of parts cos I have never used both of them both going by request and inquiries here on NL, it seems the part of the Corolla may be a bit higher than the Civic ( I stand to be corrected) thanks for the heads up |

Education › NBTE Declares Best Polytechnic In Nigeria by yak(op): 9:27am On Oct 06, 2018 |
The Executive Secretary of the Board, Dr Masa’udu Kazaure made this known in Kaduna on Thursday, at the end of the Second Regular Meeting of the NBTE Governing Board. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Modupe Adelabu. Kazaure explained that the polytechnic emerged the best after scoring 85.08 per cent in the assessment of 112 federal, state and private polytechnics in the country, in the pilot ranking of Nigerian polytechnics. He said that the exercise covered 2015/2016 and 206/2017 academic sessions. He said that the Federal Polytechnic Ilaro, Ogun came second with 73.08 per cent, while Kaduna Polytechnic, Kaduna State came third with 72.31 per cent. Other polytechnics in the top 10 included The Polytechnic Ibadan, Oyo State, ranked fourth with 67.69 per cent; Federal Polytechnic, Bida, Niger, fifth, 65.38 per cent; and Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi, Edo, sixth, with 63.85 per cent. Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu, Enugu State, seventh, with 62.31 per cent. Federal Polytechnic Offa, Kwara, Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Ondo State and Yaba College of Technology, Yaba, Lagos State were ranked eighth with 60.77 per cent. Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra was ranked 11th with 60.00 per cent and Federal Polytechnic, Idah, Kogi, occupied the 12th position with 59.23 per cent. The NBTE boss also said that when disaggregated by ownership, the Federal Polytechnic Nekede also emerged the best Federal Polytechnic in the country followed by Federal Polytechnic Ilaro and Kaduna Polytechnic. “The Polytechnic Ibadan, IMT and Rufus Giwa polytechnics were the highest ranked among state polytechnics, while Lagos City Polytechnic is the highest ranked private polytechnic and the 16th in the country. “Dorben Polytechnic and Heritage Polytechnic were the second and third best private polytechnic in the country. Kazaure explained that the polytechnics were ranked based on total number of programmes with full accreditation in the last two years and percentage of programmes with full accreditation. “Other criteria include proportion of academic staff showing the right mix, that is, chief lecturer and principal lecturer down to assistant lecturer; and ability of institution to introduce programme in new and emerging fields. “They were equally assessed based on capacity building of staff both within and outside Nigeria, teaching quality, including staff /student ratio and ratio of full-time to part-time staff. “Other areas are availability of current Campus Master Plan, Strategic Plan, and Academic Brief; percentage of academic staff with relevant higher qualification and professional registration; and 70:30 technology-non-technology enrolment ratio. “Another consideration was the incorporation of entrepreneurship education into the institute’s curriculum and fully established Entrepreneurship Development Centre,” he said. He said other issues discussed by the board borders on quality assurance, accreditation, resource inspection visits and proliferation of illegal technical and health institutions in the country. He said that 191 out of the 239 programmes in 41 polytechnics visited for accreditation between June and September 2018 were granted full accreditation while 48 got interim accreditation. He also said that 117 programmes were scrutinised for resource inspection within the same period and 94 programmes were granted interim accreditation to commence operation, while 23 were denied. “Four proposed private polytechnics were also visited for approval and licensing within the period under review and only one was recommended while three were asked to remedy some identified deficiencies. “The governing board also approved a memorandum of understanding with Environmental Health Officers Registration Council of Nigeria to reduce the burden of duplication of quality assurance visitation and accreditation activities. “The board also agreed to hold meetings with relevant stakeholders to put an end to proliferation of illegal technical institutions and unapproved private health institutions operating in the county. “The board particularly commended the effort of the Kaduna State Commissioner for Health, Dr Paul Dogo for expressing concern to the board on illegal health institutions operating in the state,” he said. Kazaure added that the board equally frowned at the conversion of colleges of agriculture to polytechnics by some state governments and agreed to take necessary action http://dailypost.ng/2018/10/05/fg-releases-2018-polytechnic-ranking-see-top-10/ |

Protein0: In as much as you should be elated on your newest gift, you don't need to be mischievous in celebrating. God bless you for sharing a page of my chat with you (it would have been better if you shared the preceding and succeeding pages too tho).
However, my msg you're trying to dissect is very lucid. Nowhere in it were you told you didn't "deserve" to use it. It was a general statement, "... anybody..." (not only you) "... Can't afford..." (not don't "deserve"...) I wonder if you have your own version of English.
But out of your deliberate plot to drag me into pettiness, "deserve" became the best synonym or interpretation of the msg.
I ordinarily wouldn't have been aware of this if not that a pal here dm to gist me and I shouldn't have dignified you with a reply but I happened to be the only seller to have thrown a promo on pb plus I know my writing style. Your issue was very obvious : you wanted to buy at the price of an old customer (even from your chat with macbeyland. You "jokingly" asked him to count you as his old customer too which of course you did to me too but in different manners).
Go thru my chats with you again. I'll be glad if you can post them. You were deliberately chatting with me as if I were noobody(making ref to the delayed custom issue calling out. I never had such issue on this thread) that was when I told you I was Protein0 and I showed you my ad to confirm same to you. Noobody can confirm such similar instances when people would chat to rub us together.
The previous chats where you were told you couldn't have it at the price of old customer we're not worthy of sharing, what a perfect dribble
The aetiology of going that blunt (yes it was blunt) with you was "... almost everyone has been talking on how kind you are..." part. I hate such lines. There were people I sold to for below 10k(old customers tho) and still paid their waybill charges (to the east) but they came straight with their issues, not trying to be cunning. You're not the only one who made such request that I turned down, even before you. If I should exempt you from the promo terms, then they deserved to be exempted too. What is sauce for the goose...
On the last note, thanks for your advice on having a course on communication course, I'll be glad if you can offer me a crashed one after you might have finished yours tho.
Shout out to macbeyland for the gift and enjoy it. I hope this wld b the last u will write concerning this. let's live in harmony |
