Muttee:This is zero if not negative investment. Oil is going obsolete in just a decade and half. What is the economic importance of this sheer waste of resources? This is what you get when you put retrogressive people in position of authority. Can someone tell PMB we are in the 21st century? The fossil fuel age is almost over |
The first and last marriages seemed to me incestuous. |
It is good to see such good sportsmanship from the opposition. In spite of everything we should all be happy to be alive together. |
Beautiful career, beautiful people. Genevieve my childhood crush |
Traditional rulers ought not to be publicly partisan. They are ignorantly denigrating their royal stool. |
Well, the open importation of mercenaries portents danger for not only our territorial integrity but also the incoming elections. There is no guarantee that many citizens of these border countries are not card carrying ready to subvert the electoral system in Nigeria. The interest of their leaders/ governors isn't just limited to appearing in campaigns. The issue ought to be properly investigated. |
The Onnoghen saga has not been proved conclusively other than media trial. Despite this, methinks he ought to have resigned not that he is guilty or innocent but to save the institution - the judiciary - from further ridicule. Ab initio, due process was flagrantly ignored and the suddenness of indictment and extra-constitutional suspension suggested heavy ulterior motives. We need to perform better in Nigeria. Onnoghen is not being tried merely for being corrupt. We all know that there are more overwhelming facts than meets the eye. Until we are able to strengthen institutions to allow due process without let or hindrance, despots will continue to manipulate the ssyetm under the guise of fighting corruption. Intending legislatures should study the weaknesses of the system for amendments in due course. |
The war against corruption is obviously heavily lopsided - so tilted it is only a political weapon against the opposition. Amaechi is not clean. Neither is Fashola and Kyari. But once the broom Passover you all your sins are forgiven. It takes a strong will to remain in the opposition. Nigeria should strive to strengthen institutions so that this mess cannot continue. |
This is inspiring. They should not forget the Nigerian Dapchi girl in captivity. Not just award but continued campaign for her freedom this electioneering period. Women at their best are bae. We need more upcoming ladies to embrace virtue not slaying. |
CreepyBlackpool:It is real dear. No psychiatric evaluation. Evil reigns. Be careful and watchful. Many have been rendered useless because they failed to take precaution. We live in perilous times. |
The law should adapt to changing times else it becomes obsolete and unable to rein in on the citizenry. The stealing of panties in itself is a crime. The motive behind ought to be forayed as well. If a full grown adult man steals pants, what is the motive? Resell? From here we can establish a prima facie. The position of the police spokesperson is weak. |
Well, completing Niger bridge because of your wife sounds fraternizing and unpatriotic. We need a new mindset in a leader of a browbeaten country like Nigeria. The problem we have today is that neither Atiku nor Buhari by practice and proclamation has the moral rectitude or mental will power to steer Nigeria to the consistency we all desire. After planting one evil to spite another we will expect massive progress. Pipe dream. We are our own enemies. It is not as if we don't have alternatives. We do. But we have effectively sectioned ourselves to Atiku and Buhari. So be it. |
Thus was the fight against corruption completely bastadized. Who is actually fighting corruption now? With PMB raising Gandollar's hand for second term inspite of everything and Atiku proposing amnesty for looters, it is business as usual in the next dispensation. God save us. |
That's marvellous. A good critic at his age. |
What do women gain from baring their cleavage, assaulting our view with what ought to be private. Does it add to beauty - NO! |
Happy birthday, lady Di. |
Gets interesting. Let us see who has the last laugh. |
Good. There was miscarriage of justice in the earlier ruling. The presidential candidate and party chairman must not come from the same ZONE. Donald Duke and Olu Falae are from South South and South West respectively. The earlier ruling assumed both came from same ZONE. |
While not disputing the fact that OBJ influenced elections under his watch, it is necessary to dispel the fears of Nigerians and ensure equal room for Al parties and aspirants. We have enthroned a wrongful culture of comparison with a flawed past to condone an equal flawed precedence. |
We bless God for you, Dino. But seriously, bros needs to be lass dramatic. It is because he seems to fear police and courts that they are haranguing him around. |
I wish him success. He has what it takes. But he has to guide his votes. It isn't as simple as being popular. Anything could happen. |
Whose business? Some trash that hit fp here look cheapening of this forum. The Mod should know that Nairalanders are multifaceted. There are govt officials here, traditional rulers, etc. We can't be having trash like this on fp. |
Seun360:Obiageli Ezekwesili (28 April 1963) popularly known as Oby Ezekwesili is a Nigerian chartered accountant from Anambra state. She is married to Pastor Nedu Ezekwesili of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). She was a co-founder of Transparency International, serving as one of the pioneer directors of the global anti-corruption body based in Berlin, Germany. She served as Federal Minister of Solid Minerals and then as Federal Minister of Education during the second-term presidency of Olusegun Obasanjo. Since then, she served as the Vice-President of the World Bank's Africa division from May 2007 to May 2012, she was replaced by Makhtar Diop. Ezekwesili was a 2018 nominee for the Nobel Peace Prize for her work in transparency in the extractive sector. Etc Etc |
Pastor might not be far from the truth. But Nigeria is not yet there. A country with only one woman governor to date and traditionally repressive of women can't produce a woman President now, maybe later. |
martineverest:Idiots enter the room too. |
Sowore Stephen Omoyele. carry go Mr. Presido. ![]() |
chicoMX:Haba. Islamic burial allows u no time for mortuary. The question is in order. If it isn't Islamic burial, he could wait till a conducive time after wedding. U catch d joke now? |
But bros you no try. You should have completed your marriage before the burial Na? Or is it Islamic burial? |
press9jatv:Op Na wa for your English o. Conversing vote or canvassing for vote? |
Too many rules and regulations. Those who won't buy do not really need. Those who need will find a way to buy discount or no. But thanks for the advice. You haff try. ![]() |
The bane of insurgency war in Nigerian army is weaponry. The people in position of authority embezzle money meant for the war. Troops die suicidally. Look at the attack on Kenya, mere police men had weapons superior to the ones used by our soldiers. Too sad. Corruption. |
