Frankyboy1: Because majority of them are foolish! In all sincerity the best candidate for presidency is Ezekwisili, like Angela Merkel of Germany in four years, she will turn around and radicalise the political terrain of Nigeria, she has experience, zeal, passion, intelligence, patriotism and honesty! Coming behind her is Sowore, a revolutionalised and youthful candidate, he will change the order of things, and will put the common man first! But we choose between old aged dying Bubu, and corrupt laden atiku with PDP waiting with open arms to replunder our treasuries! What a pity! Hopefully Buhari wins, dies after few months and Osibanjo continues, I have some level of unreserved faith in him and peter obi, as against their principals! Where do we place Olawepo-Hashim? |

Money is good jareh. But not any good reason to kill. It has to come naturally. What is reigning today will in ten years or so become trite. But, on the lighter side, there is a kid in every big man. Look at Arthur Eze showing his ride and smiling like a child that got a good Christmas toy. |

Chei, Nigeria has lost her Second Republic Executive President. Alhaji Shehu Shagari was incorruptible though corruption reigned supreme under him. There have been no public records of sleaze following his stewardship. He will be remembered for his simplicity, anti corruption and his impart on Housing and Agriculture through the Green Revolution. He has remained apolitical since out of office, and not insulting the sensibility of Nigerians by aspiring to any office or appointment. He has also not been vocal in criticism of any predecessor or successor leader. Alhaji Shagari will be missed by many NIgerians. May Allah grant him Aljanat Fidaus. |

kanicorp9: A 59-year-old man parading himself as a retired Assistant Inspector-General of Police at a bank in Kubwa area of Abuja has been arrested.
The suspect, who was identified as Olawale Olatunji was arrested with 11 ATM cards and 10 cheque books of different banks, which he claimed belonged to him.
Parading the suspect in Abuja on Wednesday, the FCT Commissioner of Police, Bala Ciroma, stated that Olatunji had posed as an AIG to defraud unsuspecting members of the public by promising to assist them in getting contracts at the Police Airwing department.
He said, “On December 10, 2018, Police operatives from the Command arrested Olatunji who has been parading himself as a retired AIG.
“The suspect had under the same pretext defrauded unsuspecting members of the public by offering to help them secure contracts at the Police Air Wing.
“In the course of the investigation, fake Police Air Wing receipts, fake contract documents, 11 ATM cards, 10 checkbooks and letter headed papers of different companies were recovered from him as exhibits.”
He, however, admitted ownership of the exhibits including the fake Police Air Wing receipts, but he denied defrauding people.
“A pastor introduced me to someone as a retired AIG, but I didn’t defraud anyone. The ATM cards and checkbooks were for my bank accounts which were opened for my business with different companies,” he stated.
