Desperate times and desperate measures. God save our country. |
Those who think that crowd translates to popularity are in for a surprise. Though I do not doubt the strength of POP in Delta state. But the masses usually flock to any rally for goodies. They eventually vote where oga at the top they are loyal to directs, or in response to some instantaneous monetary stimulus. We are not yet there for mature voting. Hear them arguing against any politician. Uvo. They will flock around the one if and when the cash arrives. Pathetic, you say. But that is the grassroots picture. |
My brother, the English is too strong for our reading level. But you tried for the information boo. |
What happened to Law courts? The Police is now a tool of intimidation? |
Tareq1105:Doesn't work like that in France, Denmark, Canada, Netherlands....I gatew |
BabaO2:inspire of Obi's scorecard as fmr governor? I garrit. |
Divay22:Na today you know?? |
Here is a Peter Obi in the North. We can see the mammoth reception. One thing that strikes me is that the two gentlemen, Osinbajo and Obi who are running mates are much more qualified than their senior partners to lead Nigeria. We seem to be running a gerontocracy. |
PoliticsNigeria:Well. the business of the Senator and the Police aren't too clear to me. I do not understand the siege. Also difficult to understand is Melaye's lie of being out of Abuja while in the same residence. One way or the other, the entire Senate has been exposed to a caricature by the actions of both actors: Dino and the Police. That office is no longer as sacred as we used to view it since the like of Dino came on board with their infantilism. Dino ought to resign to give the Senator a toga of respectability. But, No. He is the least to do that. |

The love for Buhari in spite of the suffering in the land, na juju?? Or is it because there is no credible candidate to replace him? Which one do we believe? |
How did the goat bleat the consent? Nonsense!! |
I do not really know why old man devil always comes out with deadly ideas. Now, it is pant theft for rituals, tomorrow, it could be anything else much less easily obtained. Until death sentence or any such stiff deterrent is meted out against any and all culprits, we cannot be safe. The best bet is to give up wearing pants and get other means like tight shorts if they too aren't hoardable. We are living in strange end times. |
Too sad. May God Almighty repose their souls. They died fighting for a country that thinks nothing of their sacrifice. In the end, just their immediate family bears the brunt. |
mrrights:Olawepo Hashim is good. But sadly, the voting footsoldiers in the swing states in the North will prefer a core Northern Muslim. |
These are cool and cute eggheads. |
Cute. |
Godblesspmb:if your version is correct, Dino is not fit to be in the green Chambers. He is either daft or his advisers are. |
And the carnage continues. What is actually the real issue here? Can't these problems be looked into decisively? There is need to come together irrespective of party and put a full stop to all these bloodletting by whoever. |
I know that this wage increase is election-prompted, not sincere commitment. After minimum wage there is also need to review maximum wage, the real devil. We also have to calibrate a maximum wage that is, say, 10 times the minimum wage for all public servants. You can now have the highest echelon of public servants including presido earning no more than 300k where 30k is minimum wage. The problem is not just the poorest wage earners but what people take home in some instances. The high wage gap cum disparity is the problem we have. |
Hmmmm. But why All the fuss? Has Melaye been summonsed to the Police but failed to appear? The police can then charge him to court instead of take laws into their own hand. If Melaye refuses to submit himself to court, the court can now issue bench warrant of arrest. It is only in the execution of a Bench Warrant that this siege is admissible. Otherwise we are witnessing another lawlessness by supposed law-keepers. |
No doubt gorgeous. That her surname, AbinNackYou, dey make me feel somehow. ![]() |
Okorocha, if the Igbos can take him seriously, has the magic wand to secure the presidency for the East. He has done his best for Imo state, though he cannot be exonerated from allegations of mismanagement. |
This post doesn't make sense. It appears to be sensible but completely offpoint. That relationship is doomed. You have to be on the cutting edge socially. Else you will wake up one day to see yourself overtaken and prehistoric, unable to adapt to even common conversations. A lot happen online. That you should not text and drive doesn't mean you shouldn't text at all. You can when you are off wheel. The analogy with relationships is not germane. The right advice is to limit social media and don't let it ruin your relationship. |
Their business, wetin concern us here ![]() |
Nigeria is our collective charge. Insecurity and sharp practices are usually the bane of our country. We like short cuts. If you like blame Buhari. I am not exonerating him though. But our people have a lot to do in easing Nigeria for business. It is a collective decision and not whatthe Government can legislate. |
If indeed Buhari brought this road to this form, he has done well. We need to encourage good efforts in our leaders irrespective of our political leanings or affiliations. Whether you like it or not, Buhari remains the president until handover date. |
Noise making. This one go kiss n nack behind closed doors come dey form celibate. Because it doesn't have meter, who will tell? We have suffered. |
Ok, for the writers though. Bless God, not everyone can write o. Unless you want half-baked blogs that insult our sensibilities. It is a calling, a talent. You can't become a Lindaikeji just because you can read and write. ![]() |
Way to go. I salute your good heart. It is worthy of emulation, unless, of course, one aladura instructed so ![]() |
Animal love is it. Dogs are great indeed. They are so good at fending for their owners. I love to keep dogs. If well handled, they are more faithful than so-called friends. I have seen a dog refusing to eat for days because the owner was killed. I have seen a dog staying at the graveside of its owner days on end. Dogs are known to rescue their masters in dangerous situations wherever and whenever they could. It is too sad that human beings see dog as meat. |
Good one. But what about other parties? In reality Nigeria is only a two-party state. The other parties are just there for their number alone. Why can's they coalesce to a formidable force and boot out the two Siamese twins of Nigerian polity? |
