 A Nigerian man identified as Didicus Ohaeri aka Udelo was killed in an ambush perpetrated by unidentified motorcycle-riding gunmen shortly before noon, yesterday, in Las Piñas City. .

Ohaeri died on the spot from bullet wounds. Las Piñas police chief Senior Supt. Marlon Balonglong said the victim was onboard a Toyota Camri (NAQ-919) when he was peppered with bullets by riding-in-tandem criminals at around 11:40 a.m. .
.
Initial information gathered by police showed that the victim was out on bail after previously being charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, on Nov. 5, 2016. Investigators are looking into the possibility that the killing was drug-related.

Apostle( Prof) Johnson Suleman has advocated for an Igbo  President come 2019 who will  steer things around for Nigeria. He stated this during the church service yesterday.

The Senior Pastor of Omega Fire Ministries Int'l, Apostle Johnson Suleman has proposed that Nigerians should vote for an IGBO President in the forth coming General Elections in 2019.

Making his case during his Sermon on Sunday at his Auchi Headquarter Church, the fiery Apostle said "An IGBO President may just be the solutions to the problems of Jobs Creation & Economic Rejuvenation".

He added that with the enormous vast prowess of the People of Eastern Nigeria they can turn very little to surplus. He also further stated that the IGBOs are the largest employers in the country with almost every IGBO man owning a business that is thriving.

He however posed an impending obstacle to the fulfilment of this dream. Hear him out;

At least 36 people have been fatally stabbed - and 62 overall killed including Nigerians - in London since the beginning of the year.

Four teenagers were stabbed to death in London on New Year's Eve alone, and 22 were killed in March - meaning the capital now has a higher murder rate than New York..

A shocking night of violence took place on February 20, 2018, with six people reportedly stabbed in North London.

Report has it that stabbings in London are at their highest level in six years, with a 23 per cent rise from the previous year.

The authorities of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife today said Monica Osagie was the student involved in a sex-for-marks scandal, that has sorely questioned the morality of university dons, in the training of young Nigerians.

Prof. Eyitope Ogunbodede, the Vice Chancellor of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), said Monica Osetobe Osagie was studying for a Masters in Business Administration.

He also announced the suspension of Prof. Richard Akindele, the don involved in the salacious scandal.

Ogunbodede’s action followed the submission of the interim report of the committee set up to investigate the allegation of sexual harassment revealed in audio recording.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that a recorded audio conversation of the don demanding for sex to increase the marks of a female undergraduate had gone viral.
