God,the wisest of all law-givers, gave the law that a genuinely poor borrower who is unable to pay back his loan should not be harassed. Instead, he should be given respite until such time that he becomes capable of doing so.

Islam espouses prudence and speaks against carrying debts. The Quran states that if the debtor is in distress than let there be postponement until he is at ease. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to regularly supplicate “Allah, I seek refuge with You from sin and heavy debt”.

Getting on with one another, putting your trust in someone and being a true friend is an honourable status and one that can gain you many rewards in your lifetime. It's easy to be angered by something but better to let small things go. Those who have been with you for years and supported you are too valuable to lose over petty arguments. A good friend is a real treasure in today's world. Find one but also be that person and seek to inspire and encourage everyone you encounter, you never know when your actions and example may change someone's life for the better!

Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about Strength
`Abd Allah (b. Mas`ud) (RA) reported the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying:

'Whom do you consider a wrestler among you? The people replied: (the man) whom the men cannot defeat in wrestling. He said: No, it is he who controls himself when he is angry.'

(Sunan Abi Dawud 4779, Book 43, Hadith 7)

True strength is being able to control the self and not always in physical prowess. If you are in control of your emotions, you observe self-restraint and can maintain calm even when losing your temper, then you are stronger than a wrestler! Work on patience and perfecting your character.

Some death can't just rest in peace. May God give the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
