seyisanya: Hello all, I couldn't gain access to my account dashboard on FBNQuest online platform. The message displayed was "The active accounts linked to the user do not exist. Only limited features can be used. Contact the bank administrators for details."
What does this mean? Anyone experiencing this at the moment?
Many thanks. It is a general technical issue. Wait till Monday |

C505: Do you mean stanbic is poor at money market rate? I used to do with mansard but I closed down late last year and instead of going back there, I opted for stanbic.
The only thing I hate so far from stanbic is the fact that the rates per day aren't displayed. Their rates are not poor. Just that they don't invest all the funds. Hence, their displayed rates are not the same as the actual value of interest you get when you calculate it based on your principal. They displayed their rates everyday. Just logon to you web portal. |

infj: Good afternoon house Please I'll like to know if anyone uses Arm's money market fund, I'd like to know the features and its advantages/disadvantages over other mutual funds. Ps. I'm just an undergraduate(without any knowledge of the financial market). I'd be grateful if anybody can suggest suitable mutual fund to invest in, I'll bei intend making deposites into the account monthly. Thank You The only thing I can say about them from experience is that their customer care service is very poor. I had no choice than to leave despite their high interest rate |

Akin3891: Can u explain the bolded msg? Thanks, i understand that the intrest is calculated daily, but can it ever go below 10%, because if the rates is not as juicy as TB rates, i will rather go for a TB investment of a short terms, but my problem is that i might not always get a 31 days tenor in TB and this can affect my plan of monthly withdrawal . Also is there any risk" whatsoever " to my capital investing in mutual funds? I'm actually looking for a daily intrest rate between 10 to 13%, i understand the daily rate fluctuate. For money market funds that I know about of which I have account with them (fbnquest, stanbic and mansard), the minimum holding period is 30days. Anytime after 30 days, you will be free to withdraw your money either in part or full without any charges. As at Friday, FBNquest: 13.66% Mansard : 13.46% I don't trust stanbic rate bcoz they credit a little below their displayed rate. Based on this, these money market funds suit your taste |

Prechy08: 3m for 30days @ 9% for fixed deposit, is it a good deal, should I take it? No Instead, if you urgently need 30 days tenor, try money market funds of 13% and above. Minimum holding period is 30 days. |

I have reduced the amount to withdraw to even 1k yet same thing, I never knew anything like this ooo
Only knew minimum account balance to be 5k This question has been answered many times here. To withdraw all your funds, first get your current NAV from your dashboard, type it exactly into the redemption amount (inclusive of kobo) NB: the minimum amount to withdraw is 5k |

Ourown: Kindly pardon my ignorance regarding the question am about to ask.
70 days gives 13.5% while 357 gives 14.5%
Imagine I got 13.5% after 70 days, I'm thinking I can invest about 4 times (70 days ) in 357 days. And get 4 x 13.5% interests
Am I wrong? All interest rate are on annual basis. Whatever your annual interest is, divide by 365 and multiply by the number of days |

emmas2k570: Anyone using FBN QUEST please i have a question...
How do you make payment easily. I tried paying through the payment stark on the FBN Edge App but it requested for an extra charge of about #465 unlike Stanbic MMF that doesnt charge any extra fee
I'm new to FBN Quest please help a brother. You can make fund transfer to their account. Just include this format in your reference : MMF account number / Full name Like MMF055294001/Yemi Osinbanjo After successful transfer, send your POP to them via email |

seyisanya: I just logged on to my fbnquest account and was surprised to see that the current value of my portfolio was reversed to the initial invested amount. Consequently, total accumulated units have also been reversed to the principal units. Did you or anyone else experience the same?. This is not funny at all oooo This is normal if you selected the reinvestment option. Hence, your accrued interest or units has been invested (now your capital) |

awesomeJ: Happy new year everyone. In this new year, I'll advise two things:
1. Commit your endeavors to God, and position yourself for His blessings.
2. Seek opportunities aggressively. In 2016, some folks turned 70m to 140m buying dollars. In 2017 lots of people were able to double their funds in the stocks market between April and Jan. 30m in FBNH for instance became as high as 145m. In 2018, some people have been able to turn 90m to 215m within 3 weeks buying DIAMOND.
So these opportunities seem to always come every year. No one can be sure what it'll be or when it'll come, but one thing is certain when it's about starting, we'll become aware, but only those who are prepared will partake.
So seek this year's bounty harvest opportunity aggressively, and prepare well enough by having adequate capital to take position when it comes.
Happy new year once again. God bless our efforts(hussles as some'd like it called). You forgot to mentioned stock that have lost last year. PZ (-41%), NB (-36%), Access (-34%), Wapco (-72%) etc. So, it is all about risk profile of the individual . |
