cybertek: Put same amount in stanbic and FBN. After each quarter you will notice that stanbic is higher Not true. I have accounts in both and FBN yield is always higher than stanbic even with stanbic regular reinvestment |

Emmaesty: Hi guys.
I initially wanted to open a mmf with FirstBank but it looked like it would require me to visit their office physically so I opted for United Capital.
I was filling out the form online and stopped where I was asked to upload my passport, utility bill and signature which I did not have handy.
I cancelled the application but lo and behold, i received a mail stating that my account has been activated.
It contained my new account number and requested me to pay in some accounts. I am really confused at this point cause the mail said nothing else.
Please help For reference purpose, You don't need to be in their office before you can fill form for FBNQuest It can be done online |

I'm trying to invest in mutual fund for d first time via FBN EDGE,
But I'm surprised I will be charged 2,000 naira extra to top up my FBN EDGE account.
Why 2k. How much is the interest that I will be charged that high amount. I'm confused. Make use of direct transfer or bank deposit to their account details using your customer ID as reference Email them your proof of payment No charges |

amjustme2: FBN is 5k.
Money Market Fund is Quarterly - Every 3 Months. But if you terminate before then, surely there will be penalty.
If there is a indication you would need funds before 3 months, don't start.
Rate per fund manager differs.
Check FMAN site for daily rates. There will only be penalty if one redeem investment within the first 30 days of subscription. This is for money market |

kendsage: Yea. Everyone's experience with FBNquest is different so it wont be appropriate to say someone else's experience is a lie. Please let us respect each other as we are all here to learn and improve. I use FBNquest and each time I fund my account via bank transfer, I takes not less than 2 days before the money reflects and value commences same day the money reflects. Besides, I send mail with evidence of transfer to their customer service and account officer immediately after the transfer is made, still the money wont reflect until after a day or two. I think FBN needs to improve on that. I have not done redemption with FBNquest but the 1st quarter dividend took 4 days before it hit my current account. Generally, I am okay with FBNquest given the high interest rate which is very critical for me. My account get credited same day each time I made payment before 2pm For redemption via app, it is either I get it that day or the next day. That has been my experience so far. |

I'm on Money market fund with Axa;considering Saving bond with Investment one or Equity income fund with Axa. It all depends on your risk level. The higher the risk, the higher the profit or loss |
