This is not totally correct.

Though not all sellers on Alibaba accept PayPal, but most do as an alternative to escrow (debit card payment).

You've to be very careful there as it seem this is your first time on Alibaba.

Normally, they should deliver it to your uncle's office box number if it's still active.

Again, they could either message or call you to come pick it up at their office. Either way, you'll get your goods.

Aliaba doesn't have escrow, I pay them via PayPal and I when You check a seller's payment option you wouldn't see escrow there except if that seller have a store on aliexpress,he will give you the link,you make order of any product there,he changes the amount to reflect what you're supposed to pay on Alibaba,then you pay via escrow, but I pay them using PayPal and I sleep with my two eyes closed because they dear not to mess up with my money.

Some Alibaba sellers offer payment via Escrow. The reason most of them don't is because Alibaba is basically an wholesaler mart and they need money to continue business.

The first one is already at your local post office. If they work today, go and pick it up.

The second one is not a familiar tracking number, perhaps, not registered. I didn't track it though.

Exchange rates are not fixed or static; they are dynamic and changes from time to time.

At the point of payment, you'll be abreast with the exchange of that day. Alternatively, you can call their Nigeria representative and request for their rate.

PS: Logisitics companies use the "black market" exchange rate meaning their rates could be way higher than what you expect.

Everyone should please take note of the changes.

Among other things, this thread is also meant to review the performance of shipping agents and point out their bad side if any, hence, people have always come here to complain or praise agents depending on how good or bad their service is.

Before now, there have been different complains about other agents here including the shipping companies I introduced on this thread and people don't remove or edit their comments because the issue has been resolved. Some times, even when I assist in resolving the issues, I don't tell them to modify their comments unless in areas where they lie.

This case is not something new and I wonder why the lady is been influence to modify her previous post.

It is quite understandable that there are unseen circumstances that might militate against smooth shipping of customers' goods or hinder payment for goods ordered, however, when the shippers come out clear, more often than not, the customers understand with them. Most customers save those new to importation know that there are some problem that might come up which could be beyond the control of the shipper.

So, rather than trying to influence this lady against her decision, I think the shipper should be advise to always been truthful with customers as this is not the first time someone will accuse him of lying.
