Gunbiz:It's a long story, they tried playing a fast one on me and I involved the authorities. It's wasn't a funny experience for both parties but I learnt and gained a lot for the experience. The issue with scams most times, is the fact that banks are not usually willing to assist in the investigation, perhaps, they're trying to protect their customers' privacy. |
Arguably, the guy is the most professional scammer on NL, I strongly believe that he scam for a living. The same guy also impersonate me to scam Klexycole94 of a certain amount that I can no longer remember now. Some years ago, I was also a victim of scam by a female nairalander by name Panti, though, I don't have her time yet, when I'm ready, like I did to FirstBank, na ICPC go settle the matter. Let's just be careful. |
I'm more interested in the lady on the other bike. I thought they are not supposed to touch males who they are not married to? |
I'm more interested in the laptop and printer. |
What's your location and what's the power back strength? |
Don't bother yourself brother. You probably got fooled by a family member or friend. Earlier today, MTN suffered some form of technical failure in their system which allowed their customers to fake calls using their customers' help desk number 180. You can read more about it online. |
Yemi2plus@gmail.com Thanks in anticipation. |
francawilson:He is non of the aforementioned to me and I can't remember the last time I used his service. Hope I didn't sound like I was defending his action? |
austinosita:It seems like you're new to this line of business. Firstly, there is a minimum weight your item MUST reach before it can be ship through Normal Shipping depending on the agent. For most agents, it is 5kg and I doubt if any agent will ship below 1kg via normal. Secondly, from the screenshot you posted, Bishop only told you the price of Normal Shipping and there was no place you both agreed on the method to be use for shipping the item. Hence, the reason he must have used Express Shipping plus the first reason I stated. Finally, Bishop was quite rude to have told you what he said on the supposed voice note. My advise: Judging by the weight of the item, it appears to me that it was order for personal use or sample and quite cheap, if this is true, I advise you re-order it but this time, use a "Free Shipping" company. |
ICPC ke? I laugh, I have faced same problem with another Nigerian bank before. Though, my issue was resolved through their help, but it should be the last sort. Most importantly, are you guys prepared for their wahala? Have you read the act that established the agency? Do you know what it takes to involve them? Are you ready to spend more monies? There are other governmental agencies that can handle this issue before involving ICPC. Make una use una head think wella, else, na kirikiri straight. |
You ought to provide two different names. Can I have the site you're using for the registration? |
I'm silently following your progress. |
Congratulations. EFCC don't handle cases below 10million naira and couldn't have been helpful when you contacted them. I once faced an issue with my bank though my case was a foreign transaction I did on PayPal. For three months, the bank refused to resolve the issue until I involved ****. Guess what, the issue was resolved in less than 72hours with an apology from the bank. |
You've the option of selling to an exchanger |
Xiadnat:Thanks for your input Doc. I'm not suffering from diabetes and neither am I on medications/supplements or herbs. I have always suspected my sweat glands, I'll visit a dermatologist as advised. However, will I not suffer any health challenge if my sweat glands are temporary or permanent stopped since sweating is one of the ways the body system dispose waste product? |
Xiadnat:Hello Doc, The sweating is not restricted to my foot and palm only, I sweat also on my nose and face too. What do you think might be the cause and how can I manage the situation? I have had the problem as long as I can remember. Regards. |
Hello Doc, What are the likely negative health implications one who sweat often on the foot and hand can face and what are your recommendations on reducing it if it can't be stopped? Regards. |
francawilson:Just do as Infinitikoncept have suggested. They tried something similar on my last year November but I got my money back January this year through the help of an anti-corruption agency of the Federal Government. |
francawilson:You've a valid case. Contact your bank's CC and request for your balance. |

HELP: I recently collected my old MTN F@stlink unlocked E165G modem from a friend who was using it on a desktop with Windows XP as the OS. Right now, the modem doesn't connect on Windows 7 if the network is on 3G unless on EDGE/GPRS but this wasn't the case on the my friend's desktop. Could it be that the drivers are outdated or not compatible with Windows 7? |
kenedy175:To your first question, the rate is determined by your bank after considering many factors. To the second, it depends on the merchant, not all merchant provide an escrow platform where you can get your money back in case the transaction doesn't go as planned. Also, some merchant charge a fee for using their platform, depending on your PayPal account, you might not have to pay such fee. I guess that's another advantage. |
arbitrage:It all depends on the bank and card. I didn't wait for an hour before I got mine, it was instant. |
ttaiwo09:You've to wait for an SMS or e-mail alert from your bank that carries the account linkage (verification) four digit codes before you can successfully link the card to the PayPal account. Depending on the card and bank, you should get it within 72 hours. I got mine instantly when I linked it though. |

coolted:The delay might be as a result of the Chinese New Year holiday. Contact Victor on WhatsApp, he will help you out. |
walexsho:Foreign transactions are usually not settled using the Central Bank of Nigeria exchange rate, but by the prevailing interbank rate since banks can source for foreign exchange from autonomous sources. Consequently, banks incur other card associated transaction costs distinct to the beneficiary banks that cause a mark-up in the eventual exchange rate applied to customers transactions. |
JideSM:This can't be an excuse. I hardly subscribe for daily plan on the link. |
JideSM:Hello JideSM, Last month, I subscribed for the BBC monthly plan and wasn't given the regular 7days bonus, which you requested that I send you a PM to assist me, I sent the PM but got no reply from you. Just yesterday/today, I was automatically re-subscribed to the plan by MTN and was expecting to be given extra three weeks but was given a week extra which is unlike the normal tradition. Kindly look into this and assist me. NB: my number is: 07030187784. Thanks. |
tosinjay:Your conclusion and calculation is wrong. I have been there before and what you're going through is exactly what I passed through. Anyways, it seems like you've given up already. |
tosinjay:Try this first, remove the card(s) linked to the account, add a new card and make it your primary card. The next day, re-add the card you use for sending funds, you might not need to verify it again. Once it has been added, make it the primary card and try sending funds with it. |
