So sorry for your what you are experiencing. However, the economic crunch is really affecting so many companies. I have lots of recruitment agencies but some of them are winding up as they are not getting recruitment jobs but we still have some vibrant agencies.

While you are still searching for job, please pick CIPM form and prepare for their exam in August. You can also forward your cv to my mail and lets KIV it for any opening.

Did you just mentioned 8 years after graduation? Whao! That should have earned you wealth of experience in the area of your choosing career. Please dont be decieved by this HND descrimination. I am very sure with your HND, experience on the job, you will get mouth-watering job.

One keeps wondering what you have been doing all this while. I believe you should have gotten more certificates to add to you HND at least a PGD with professional exams.

Let me tell you, I graduated with HND and after acquring some superior certificates my sky becomes limit. In naija today apart from some banks that will still insist on BSc most sectors dont decriminate. I do lots of recruitments and my priority is not BSc. My priority is to select from that pool of applicants and conduct test and interview to get good candidates. I am telling you we have fantastic HND holders and they are delivering on their jobs.

My candid advice for you if you have a steady job why can't you stay on that job while improving on your education. Let me tell you this, If an HND candidate with certification of CIPM for instance applied for a job in an HR unit of an organization and a BSc without any certification did same who do you think the job goes too? Please your HND certificate is momentous and you should be very proud of yourself.

On final note please consider you are getting older and some employments are age-based. All the best beauty.

Even if you have 2 masters, it will still be incomplete without being professionally certified. Irrespective of number of years spent, preference will still be given to CIPM graduates. If you can can combine the 2, please go ahead otherwise focus on your MBA and prepare for your CIPM. Infact so many people have combined the 2 programmes since CIPM conducts exams twice a year.

Since you are developing your career in HR, please go for CIPM. It will prepare you well enough for your MBA. You can even secure an HR job with that before you complete the MBA. Also ensure the MBA specialises in HR.
