I can relate perfectly well with your predicament. One of the blunder we all made as a man at one point in our lives is taking unserious/useless women serious while we hope they will change for good someday.

Talking from experience, a lot of factors might responsible for her action.

1. She doesnt love you enough to have a meaningful relationship with you.

2. She has someone else, women are usually emotionally attach if you are the only one in their lives.

3. She see you as a weak or desperado.

4. She is just not ready for a commited relationship but you want one.

5. She is using you to pass time until she find her choice of man.

Now my advise, keep dating her but dont ever take her serious anymore until she read the sign and leave or adjust. Stop spending your money on her, she is not worth it. Get a new girl(this is very important) as it the fastest way to detach yourself of emotional bond from a girl who think she is doing you a favour by dating you.

Most women in their 30's are the causes of their problems.

You actually did well by helping him in time of need, sometimes something like this do happen especially if you fail to act smart at inception. Next time you dont deal with friends/family members directly even if you are the owner of the business. You should've be a connector and allow him to deal with your boss directly.

I will advise you to pay the money (if you can afford it) and hope he pay someday. You can also talk to someone he respected in your family and let him understand your job is at stake as a result of this.

@op, You made a lot of valid points with your post. I've been there before, all i can say is that women are basically the same in nature. Unlike men, they only do whatever that benefit them without thinking about the consequence. An average woman is wicked, selfish, lack foresight and are very quick to make irrational decision especially if it is going to favour them.

In one word, never show a woman you love her, let her do the loving stuff all alone. Treat her like one of numerous option, and finally, date like four at the same time(without spending more than their TF only when they visit) and pick the sensible one among them for a relationship that will lead to marraige in less than 1 year.

It is obvious you know absolute nothing about frozen food market.

It is also saddened and pathetic to see bloody grown up youth(the future of Nigeria) like you to say "it is dangerous to allow Nigerians to dominate her market to boost her economy and standard of living".

I used to feel less concern about Nigeria economy or environment until i saw it with my two naked eyes( a man killed by suspected unemployed youth robbers) along the highway. The reality is that, we are all not save(rich or poor) as long as economy is not viable or self sufficiency.

I doubt if you buy or eat chicken at all. Locally made frozen chicken are very cheap these days even cheaper than cow or goat meat. Your kind are the reasons Nigeria will remain backward or under-developed economically because you dont see any reason to promote or encourage local production that is the backbone of any developed economy in the world.

Smaggling is not only causing serious hovoc in poultry sector but also exposing alot of innocent souls to deadly cancer by consuming chemically imported frozen chicken. This sector alone can provide jobs/income for millions of Nigerians but our greedy, wicked, ignorant and useless government and its officials in charge wont see this because of their selfish interest that will come back to hurts them or their future generations.

Economic stability or standard of living of society should be an immediate concern of every country, but unfortunately, we dont have that natural instinct in this part of the world to achieve that.
