Romance › Re: If I Marry from This Family I Might Regret The Rest Of My Life by yemmit90: 12:56pm On Jan 14 |
plsdisvirginme: There is this student girl I met through Michat. We started dating. I believe in establishing people in life.
I discovered this girl is from a poor and idle background. They are 7. The first three daughters all married and they didn't goto school or learn work. Their parents nothing to write home about. She is the only that struggle to enter university through her POS business.
Her POS folded and she was left with nothing. Last year I went for a program, I decided to setup a charging and POS. I entrusted the business in her hand to be balancing me weekly and also to support herself through it.
It was one excuse to another. This busines collapsed under 7 months. Business I used close to 1.5m to open. I swallowed the loss and moved on.
I discovered she can sew then I encourage her to open shop. I supported her with everything and she started her fashion shop. I even rented a good apartment for her. I discovered this girl is really extravagant with money. She can't save.
Last year Dec I gave her 500k with agreement she will be giving me weekly return. Uptill now 1 naira I never see. I discovered she and her sisters open whats app family daily contribution. I was shocked. . I asked what for. She said they want to open business for their parents .
Meanwhile this girl has 2 years plus to finish school. You are contributing to open business for your parents that have not supported you in school from day 1.
I warned her but this fell on her deaf ears. Now this morning she chatted me that she got her sewing contracts that i should loan her 30k.. This is the girl I invested just 500k in her business this dec on agreement to be giving me weekly return and she never give me 1kobo from it. Now you are chatting me for 30k loan. ..
And this is the girl I intend to marry. I have just zero my mind off her to look for better person.
Guys it is a very big error to invest in a student from poor family.
I just learnt my lesson. Wait wait, did I hear you say you meet her through Michat? Truly you no be street smart, I won't say more than this. |

LordIsaac: They think Jagaban has a "use and dump" mentality like Fubara. Fubara only became Governor by Wike's "benevolence". Everyone detests betrayal. I can never be in Fubara's camp. He should go finish what he started. Fubara has every right to go for the second term, no individual is bigger than the state, only people of Rivers State can say he should not go for the second term and not Wike. Wike shouldn't have signed such agreement in the first place if he is a smart politician. He should've pretended to be fine with all his steps and strike him hard toward the tale end of his term. However, a serial betrayal like Fubara shouldn't have been fighting with at all. If I was to be Wike, I won't even argue with him, all I will do is to use option A4 primary like they did to Ambode in Lagos and denied him the ticket. By using option A4, he can't even bribe or entice Wike loyalists who are the majority, because everyone will openly queue behind his/her candidates. He seem to learn nothing from his boss Tinubu. But now that he has scattered everything and insulted APC NWC, Fabura may even be giving automatic ticket withiout having to pass through party primary. |

Ofunaofu: The Oyo State Government has since responded by informing Nigerians especially the people of Oyo State and the Bodija explosion victims that the N30 billion is intact.
Rather, Nigerians should question the motive of the Tinubu-led Federal Government for promising N50 billion but releasing only N30 billion while withholding N20 billion. If you give someone N30b withiout seeing anything he do with it, will you give him addinational money? |

Syrine22: Records can be broken. The Super Eagles will do it. Super eagles are always poor and useless against the host nations. That was how they started well until they became toothless against the host "Ivory Coast " in the last edition final. I could remember when 10 men black start beat them in Ghana that year. Unless they remove the mentality of playing against host nation from their heads, I don't see them beating Morocco on Wednesday. |

TheStoriesOfMan: The 3k is not for final consumers ooo
I sell at 1k5h to 2k to wholesalers. Now you are talking, #500 or #1000 is more realistic than 3k you quoted earlier, because the size of yam you can only harvest from a sack within a season will not be bigger than what you can sell at that price range. In the South West part of the country, you can get a medium size yam for 1k from retailers. |

Obi won key state like lagos, abuja and rivers. These are the elite and educated states. Atiku/Obi is the only ticket that can give them head ache. Give obi ticket, they will win massively in the North, give Atiku ticket without Obi, they will win in entire south, North Central and get 25% needed from core North. |

TheStoriesOfMan: See as you write comment as if you haven't heard of it before.
If I never do am, I no go write epistle like this.
I go lie for you? Dont mind me, I dey hear sack farming before but I never see that kind figure quoted from yam farming before. I believe you might have been doing it before but selling a tuber for 3k is what I won't agree with you. You cant even sell at that price to the final consumers, let alone wholesales buyers. |
Business › Re: What Business Can I Do With 1 Million? by yemmit90: 12:01pm On Jan 12 |
TheStoriesOfMan: Invest in sack farming. If you have a leased land in the village, use it to plant 10,000 sacks of yam, potato or groundnut. Make sure there is a water source nearby.
A 98% harvesting rate can give you a lotta cash.
One tuber of yam is ₦3000.
Therefore, profit is 9800x3000= ₦29,400,000.
Fortunately, getting sacks are quite easy. Get yam setts or cut yam into pieces, prepare the bag by filling with manured soil, rub the yam pieces with wood ash and plant in the bags. Prepare trellises so that the tendrils can grow upright.
Watch more videos on YouTube. Thank me later. See as you write figures as if you had done it before. |

No lie, you don see One million naira for your life? 🤔 Destiny defer, Lamborghini is nothing compare to what he earned annually, and you don't know why or how those guys you mentioned lost their wealth. Aside that, they play in different generations where payment and opportunities defer. Besides, you don't tell people how to spend or manage their wealth, it is poor or primitive way of reasoning. Nijaforward: Fayose is a disgrace to Ekiti State…is he really a former governor talking like a fool always ? He is not a fool, he is just playing APC card. He is a well breed politician who understands political game in Migeria. If ADC give obi ticket, Northerners, especially APC stewards and elites who are the majority in the North will gladly mobiloze for Tinubu who has only 4 years to spend. If Atiku get the ticket, majority of southerners will see it as insult, middle belt and APC big boys who has been eying presidency from core North will back Tinubu. Opposition chances was 2023, and they wasted it due to their arrogance and lack of patient. Though Atiku/Obi ticket can make a significant different but won't still give opposition victory because South vs North rotation of power would still jeopardise their advantage in the entire south. Even majority of Obidients will oppose it and vote another candidate or abstain. |

Politics › Re: Compilation Of What Fubara Said And Replied To Wike by yemmit90: 5:40am On Jan 10 |
hotseat: Wike must be regretting the very day he virtually imposed this ingrate called "Madam Fubara" on the good people of Rivers State.
Most Governors who rebelled against their political godfathers waited patiently until their second term in office before exhibiting their ingratitude.
For "Madam Fubara", like the true Judas Iscariot that he is, began to rebel against his godfather in the very first month of his election.
Fortunately for him, the unsuspecting members of the public fell for his shenanigans of playing the victim card.
They see him as the one being oppressed whereas he is the vintage oppressor.
Instead of examining the factors necessitating the processes for his impending impeachment, they got carried away by sentiments and emotions and their palpable hatred for Wike who they believe is responsible for the actions of the Rivers State House of Assembly.
The only lesson to be learnt is that all intending godfathers may have to review their support for future political godsons so as not to get the Wike treatment.
@hotseat It happened like that in politics, People don't just turn their back on godfathers but their excess sometimes compelled them to do so. Wike is not an intetelligent politician a bit, an intelligent person would not have started fighting with Fubara in the first place. Smart Godfathers waited patiently and use their influence or loyalists in the party to denied him the second term ticket. Ambode case is typical example, did you see Tinubu fighting him? Did anyone even knows they were not in good term until he demanded there must be primary with option A4 to be used? Wike problem is impatient and arrogance, you can't denied someone his constitutional right in the name of politics. Is he a God or own the state that he is demanding a governor should not go for a second term? It is the responsibility of people of Rivers State to do so and not Wike. You have both PDP and APC structure under your control in the state, yet you are still fighting irrational war. To make the matter worse, you started your irrational thing by attacking APC big boys who would've stayed neutral and allow you to deal with your foe who is now at the mercy of presidency silently. |

richiemcgold: Frozen chicken and turkey were very cheap many years ago. The price began to rise after Obasanjo imposed ban on importation of poultry products. If the ban is lifted today, the price will surely drop; just as it happened with rice. Still very cheap, cheaper than beaf , goat meat and fishes. A kilo of fresh farm chicken is 5k on retail price, no matter the location, it should not be more than 6k base on the current wholesale price.(4200-4500). The poster don't eat chicken, hence he would not have posted this unverified statistics. |

Nigerian kilo of chicken still remains the most expensive in the world due to Bulaba's wuru-wuru economic policies and you are here yapping apata. When was the last time you eat chicken? Because if you do eat it, you will definitely know the price. A kilo of fresh farm chicken is 4200 wholesale and 4800/5000 retail price. |

I don't think this man called Wike think before he talk sometime. Did he own River state and its entire people? What power and influence will he still have if they remove him as FCT minister. How on earth will he be able ro Rig election like he did in 2023 in Rivers state when he is no longer a governor with legitimate authority. Did he even understand that Fubara was part of his government, and must have known his tactics and a brutal way to counter it with federal government backing.
Civil servants and majority of average citizens are most likely to vote for the governor if he is good to them than one politician they benefit nothing from. |

Politicians are stealing billions, government too are dashing out billions at will, and they keep saying they need to tax the poverty striken citizens to have more money to spend. |
Family › Re: Why I Slapped My Uncle Recently And Became A Bad Person by yemmit90: 3:50pm On Jan 06 |
Lexzeey: In every family there's these uncles and aunts who knows nothing about you, they don't even know your name sometimes or how you survived into adulthood but feels you owe them allegiance whenever they see you.
first off I know it's an African thing to always respect people older than you, and before you crucify me I am also an adult now with his own adult life, I keep to myself and I don't force people to respect me as respect is earned.
A family member died and we all came back for it, coupled with the holidays, the whole extended family was present including some of those in diaspora, I'm an introvert so I keep to myself, I generally greeted everyone when I came and sat in my corner.
Then there's this useless Cockatoo who drank free beer until his brains froze, first he kept talking about yahoo boys, how they dress a certain way, how they do all sorts to be rich, how they kill people to be rich, they both with soap gotten from herbalist, they don't go to work yet they're living fine, they have cars at a young age etc.
Now when you're talking and you don't call my name trust me I won't answer you. Even if it's obvious you're talking about me, and from all indication this man was talking about me, one my mom is dead, two I earn online and don't physically go to work, third I am not begging I'm doing okay, but I still didn't pay him any mind, then he indirectly started talking about how they don't respect people enough, he was so pained for some reason and condescending.
I just got up and went to a shop outside our family house, as I was buying something this weyrey came, I got what I wanted and turned to leave and that was when I felt it, waaam at my back, this guy slapped me on my back, then he asked me directly, didn't you see me? Don't you know I'm your uncle?
I lost it, and like a reflex I slapped him back hard it was a resounding slap, he staggered backwards, and my cousins held me, before I know it has spread that I just slapped uncle whatever his name is, what's painful is everyone blamed me, for being disrespectful and suddenly it didn't matter what he did, I'm somehow supposed to attone for it.
this man didn't know how I survived till adulthood, not even a penny of his went into my upbringing, I don't know why he felt I owe him respect and allegiance, even if I did, why does he have to go about it that way.
Google image The reality is that, you may not be a yahoo boy, but probably behaving like one. Your uncle statement wouldn't have pained you to that extent since you were innocent. What you did is totally wrong, your uncle saw how frightened you were in the meeting, that was probably the reason he followed you outside. Just start behaving well, dress like a responsible adult and most importantly, relocate to a more Liberal neighbourhood where people understand the difference between yahoo and earning legitimately online. |

He's pretty open about his cash flows. When some celebrities give him money, he announces it too, and still does philanthropy with it ..
VDM is doing very well, significantly above the level of Nigerian public office holders, or politicians. Lolz, mere looking at VDM personality and lifestyle, I can bet it with anything that he is making bastard side money from what he is doing. Before you trust people, you must look into their personality, lifestyle and the kind of companies they keep. Humans will always be humans in the faces of abundance unrestricted material possession in their cares, but that is immaterial here because he has at least being open and less arrogant in what he is doing. Though I must commend him for his service to Nigerians, some would've embezzled virtually all the donations. May God bless him and his generations to come. |

Nigerianlion: It’s good that Pastor Enenche addressed the rumours directly he says he’s never had access to the church’s cheque book and hasn’t used offerings or book/CD proceeds for personal expenses, urging believers to focus on spiritual growth instead of material things. They should focus on spiritual growth, while he use latest model of cars and expensive wears. Real men of God during the time people were still genuinely serving God usually lives modest lifestyle. Majority of them stay in the church or mountain side, they rarely own personal properties, they dedicate all their lives to the service of church and humanity. Come to today's pastors and GO's, you have to pass through various protocols and departments to see them. They are not available for the poor members, they arrogantly show up in the pulpits only, while left the services of church to others to handle. They chase riches in the name of gospel, and despite sacrifice where it won't bring material possessions. Only very few pastors should be called men of God in Nigeria, majority are business men. |
