PoliticsRe: Rivers: Moment Wike Warned APC National Secretary, Others (Video) by yemmit90: 5:19pm On Jan 05
Igirigimercenar:
Shame on you tinubu. Look at the utterances of your employee challenging you in one of your company. This is a slap on the face of the president. If wike eventually gets away with all these things, then I will bow to him as bigger than the president today
He talk as if he owe the state, even Tinubu that have been pocketing Lagos since over 20 years has never came out boastful like this.

I think he is only being tolerated by APC and presidency because of his impact in the last election in Rivers state. From my own analytical point of view, Fubara is more useful to Rulling party in Rivers state. No individual politician can compete with legitimate authority in the state by instigating violence during election withiout federal government backing. While Wike is banking on key state actors, Fubara can use state resources and influence to woo civil servants, loyal allies and ordinary citizens to vote for him. With Fedral backing, Wike can be neutralise from uses of thugs and place under house arrest during the election.

Lol. Is that the position Tinubu has now found himself? Well, he better start begging. But I can tell you for free, as long as this Rivers matter is concerned, Tinubu must fold! What have they done to Kwankwaso? Lol. Why are you counting scores when the battle is yet to be fought?

Video: Wike warns APC National Secretary, Ajibola Bashiru to steer clear of Rivers state.

That is why I said "if Wike is indispensable to them" they can use option A4, just like they did to Ambode because they won't want to offend Fubara who is a full member of their party.

As for Kwankwaso, he has been cut into sizes by negotiating with his God son behind his back. Even if Kano governor do not move to APC, he won't follow Kwankwaso to any other party, and he will likely work for rulling party behind close door. Besides, by this event, Kwankwaso too will lower his demands in order to be at the forefront of negotiations if presidency knock again.

Make Tinubu put body by betraying Wike first. Then he will find out. Agreement is agreement! As far as this Fubara matter is concerned, Tinubu must fold.
He would be eventually begged by the president to allow Fubara be but if Wike is indispensable to them and still insisted on the agreement, they will try not to offend Fubara too but simply allow all contestants to contest in primary. They can use Option A4 like they did to Ambode, and if Wike is too powerful as he claimed, Fubara can't get the ticket through this method.

The reality is that, governor can bring more votes than any individual politician in the state. The reason FG is still pampering Wike is because of what he did for them in the last election by rigging Obi out in Rivers state. Look at what they did to Kwankwaso despite his small God charisma. Though Wike is a very smart politician by quickly accepted to serve in APC government and immediately belong to the top caucus. Otherwise, he would've been used and dumped .

PoliticsRe: Wike Says He Will Be Buried Politically If Fubara Secures Second Term by yemmit90: 10:44am On Jan 04
AMINDA:
Thank God you admit that Tinubu will have no pathway to victory without rigging, even in the South. Not all governors will be willing to go against the will of their people and shed blood in order to rig Tinubu into power, which is why Tinubu will eventually settle for Wike. If governors are that powerful, how many states with APC governors did Tinubu win in 2023? Could it be that Sanwo-olu also worked against Tinubu which is why Tinubu failed to win Lagos?
I didn't say he has no path way to victory, politics is dynamic, you can't use 2023 scenario to predict 2027. There were many obstacles ( fuel crisis, naira redesign, APC internal division, lack of presidency backing, Muslim- Muslim ticket) before him that time compare to now that he has non. Besides, no governor commited to his victory that period due to Buhari lack of genuine support. He lost Lagos by small margins because of large concentration of obidients particularly from south East in the state.

I am apolitical, an apostle of regionalism or total disintegration but the reality of Nigeria politics should never be ignored. To be honest withiout sentiment, there is no path to opposition victory in the next election. If ADC field Obi, key players in the North will rather support Tinubu who has only 4 years to spend and have the power back to the North than someone who can change mouth like what Goodluck Jonathan did. If they field Atiku, there will be a serious protest votes from the South and from APC block who are the majority from the North. Those who has been eying presidency and key positions in the Northern APC will not fold their arms and allow another party into power where they won't have their way immediately even if they defected.

Mark my words today, Atiku May not contest for president in the next election, because he is more experienced and understands the power of incumbent who has 28 governors and more than 2/3 of national assembly members on his side.
PoliticsRe: Wike Says He Will Be Buried Politically If Fubara Secures Second Term by yemmit90: 7:41am On Jan 04
AMINDA:
Well, that divisive style of politics will cost Tinubu this time because it has been overplayed. The much touted support by both Wike and Fubara is just window-dressing as they are both doing it just to curry federal favour. Deep down, the people of Rivers are still angry with Tinubu and only massive rigging can make him win the state with substantial votes. Ditching Fubara will also cost him huge political capital but it will be his only choice, given the circumstances.
Lolz, Tinubu only need a Governor of the state to win an election, and he has Fubars now who understands and well part of what Wike did the last election. The reality is that, Peter Obi won Rivers State by wide margins in 2023 General election, APC used state apparatus through Wike to rig him out.

There won't be any different this period, they don't even need to rig much because unlike in 2023, Fubara is also an APC leader in the state. What people don't understand is that, you can easily get more votes or rig election through state government than any political gladiator in the state.
PoliticsRe: Wike Says He Will Be Buried Politically If Fubara Secures Second Term by yemmit90: 7:24am On Jan 04
AMINDA:
The betrayal of either Fubara or Wike by Tinubu will have its own unique ripple effects across the region. Tinubi will have to weigh his options carefully before picking a side. But one thing is sure, he can't have both.
That is Tinubu style of politics, he will allow them to fight one another to the point that his intervention or eventually judgement would be justified or seen as necessary step by populace. Both parties will still be invited to another round table discussion where Wike will be compell to support Furaba for the second term or clearly stay off his path. Since he has no stake in APC, he won't be able to stop him from having the party ticket, and he won't also be able to use force to intimidate voters or machineries to rig the state under legitimate authority in Fubara who knew all his tactics during the time he served under him.

He is simply not a wise man, otherwise he would have totally embrace Fubara after his coming back and take all the glories.

There is limit to everything in life, you had already shown him who is the boss through FG by his suspension for 6 months. He swallowd his pride and constitutional power to respect your wish and execute all your demands immediately he was restored as governor.

It would've be an honour for you to completely shield your sword and allow him to freely concentrate on governance. It is no longer an issue of Gofatherism but state terrorism.

PoliticsRe: We Negotiated For Peter Obi Presidency In ADC, Nothing Less - Oseloka Obaze by yemmit90: 6:31am On Jan 03
DoTheNeedful:
Obi is vying to be Atiku's VP; there is no need to deceive anyone.

I don't see Atiku as an ideologue or a principled individual, consumed with the love for Nigeria and convinced in Obi's capabilities to concede presidency to Obi. This is Atiku that has contested every presidential election since 2007, regardless of where the position were zoned. He is in the coalition to get the ticket. Obi knows this and he would gladly accept to be his VP, after he has been "dollar-defeated" in the primaries.

Oseloka, Tanko, Aisha and the rest know that Obi is likely to be Atiku's VP candidate. They are saying all they have been saying over the past few days to allay the fear and concerns of some skeptical hardcore Obidients. Once the primaries have been concluded and Obi "dollar-defeated", they would start changing their tune slowly and "encourage" Obi to be Atiku's running mate.

Once Obi "accepts" to be Atiku's running mate, we would start hearing things like: "Obi will be in charge of economy", "Obi will be the most powerful VP", "Atiku has agreed to do only one term" etc. grin.

In actual fact, the VP position is not really strong, even in America. Atiku would want to do more than one term, if they win. Their relationship might not last six months after the election, partly because Atiku would be surrounded by the Northern cabals and Obidients will not stay silent. They would give Obi all the credit for any positive thing under Atiku's administration.

Chai! I am seeing too far into the future. grin
Atiku may not contest, he is a hard core politician who understands the game better than Obi. With 31 governors and nearly all national assembly members in APC, only a fool or money miss road will contest against incumbent who understands how to use power to his advantage.

It is laughable to see some people saying it is masses that vote during election, yes it is masses but these masses controlled by these influential politicians. Only a novice or stupid politicians will underestimate the key players like governors, assembly members and power of incumbent in election in Nigeria. Aside this, with these key players who oversee everything in their states, it will be very easier for incumbent with all state apparatus to rig.

RomanceRe: Why I Dumped An Orphan Girl I Was Dating Recently by yemmit90: 2:50pm On Jan 01
Goodmarlian:
Early last month I met this girl on campus where I work in one of Lagos prestigious higher Instititions, the time I met her she was sick and had no one to support her, I was a bit okay financially so I bought her drugs and food steadily until she got better, her parents were late as she narrated to me and she was staying with her aunt and the aunt wasnt financially stable to sponsor her education so she really struggled In school to keep up,Infact the aunty wants her to drop out of school and face her hair dressing skill until when they are financially stable because it was becoming difficult for her but this girl stubbornly refused and insist she will continue with school which I felt was a courageous decision from her.

I really liked the girl and she herself was also In Love with me due to me being caring towards her,and we were really attached to each other however things got bad ever since she started working in one hair saloon inside campus, her female co-workers are beginning to Influence her negatively, I feel there is this coworker of hers that encourages her to start billing me heavily that I have money ,suddenly she started feeling entitled, if I give her money to go eat she no longer says thank you, she will just grab the money from me and move, sometimes she will deep her hands in my pocket and remove money which I really hate. I started to think I am training a baby tiger that will hurt me later.

One day I sat down and thought about my relationship with her, I removed the orphan sentiment and asked myself, what if I am in the same shoes with her will she consider me as a worthy partner? That was when I came to my senses, omo na so I decide to dump her shaparly,in the evening that day she called I refuse to pick, she waited for me in our usual spot I refuse to show up, she asked my friends to call me I refuse to go. Them she finally came to Confront me to ask me what happened I told her I am passing through a lot and needed space she left immediately, I noticed she was depressed throughout that week, I cannot use my money to train up an upcoming entitled gold digger that will later hurt me women are something else.

Google image
Once a girl who appreciate your little kindness started billing or feel too entitled, just know that she has found someone else giving her better money withiout doing much for him compare to you. It could also means she had seen how men spend lavishly on her friends or other girls around her.

You made a good decision though but next time, you should've called her attention to it and watch her next attitude for awhile before you break up. Young women could be easily unknowingly influenced by friends, especially if they don't have wise elders or good mentors to talk to them.

2025, a year I lose significant amount of money in business. I am now thinking mayb joining federal civil service and climb the ladder to the top is better than doing business in Nigeria these day.

At least those permanent secretaries, head of government departments and many top millionaires civil servants start from somewhere. Whoever say you can't be rich through salary has not been receiving good pay. I have seen many civil servants, including custom and immigration officers living the best life, so the believe that one can't live a fulfilled life through salary is just a misconception.

Book mark this post today, Wike is only doing initial gragra, he will still come back to negotiate table in Abuja and allow Fubara to run.

Governors are too important than any other politicians in Tinubu style of politics, he can never sacrifice a loyal Fubara for Wike. He will allow them to strugg it out with one another and intervene at die minutes to make peace.

One thing is certain, APC won't denied Fubara a ticket the only option left for Wike to forcefully stop him is if he officially join APC.

Why will you do that when you have total control of your new found party? Wike can't stop him from getting APC ticket since he is not the member, and he also have little power to rig him out or use force against Fubara who will have more financial muscles and free access to state security and federal backing. Lol. You all think you can effortlessly shape-shift as you please without any shame right? I think all you wrote above should be addressed to Bayo Onanuga, the president's spokesman. This was him trying to set the North against Obi barely a month ago when you all were vehemently against America's intervention. What changed?
Let me speak for myself on this issue, you can as well check some of my post concerning this issue on Nairaland. No one oppose or condemn US intervention, the major concern of most people is "Christians genocide" being tagged as reason for the intervention.

As you could see some weeks ago, majority of stake holders from the North vehemently dismissed the claim and insisted that both Christians and Muslims were the victims. So, if this claim by the US is the sole reason for the attack, and the bombing continue withiout collaboration with our armies force, how do you think the Muslims North, particularly those terrorists sympathisers or jihadish minded fellow would react?

Even at that, government is still trying to be careful not to instigate religion crisis in the North, that is why they first play ignorant to the attack. Please let put politics aside and allow US in collaboration with Nigeria army to clear out these terrorists once and for all.

Lastly, I have no business with Bayo onanuga remarks, I am apolitical, I am a pro regionalism or total disintegration, so I have no business with Nigeria government or whoever useless politicians being tips to get there.

Apc people don see Nigerians finish
No, a farmer in the system will understand the price better. This seller did not buy DOC at 2500, he bought them around 1k or less, and that was mid November when demand for December stocking had drastically reduced from hatcheries. This particular bird he bought is 5 weeks old 100%, and the person can only spend between 5-6k to raise them. So if he sell at 8k, he made 2 or 3k profit on each bird.

Terrible liar like his paymaster tinibu.. useless n shameless
He is not lying, this is 5 weeks broiler, with Ross 308, cobb 500 or arbor acre breed and professional feed, you can get 2kg live weight or 1.4kg dress weight at 5 weeks old. If there is no disease crisis during those 5 weeks, he can raise them with 5k/6k. So a farmer that sold it for 8k will still make nothing less than 2k profit on each bird.

Nigerians are genetically greedy, I can tell you for free today that no farmer can spend 15k on the chicken they sold 25k and above. Some farmer made more than 100% profit on each bird they sold. No chicken should be more than 20k no matter how big it is, but greed on the part of farmers will never let that happen. Majority of time, the faults are not just from the government but from we the masses.

Fayose should use this opportunity to show documentary evidence of all the allocations he received as governor of Ekiti State and how he spent them. Only then can he be taken seriously over his infantile claims that Makinde received a N50 billion intervention fund from Tinubu.
Stop supporting impunity by attacking the messenger instead of reasoning with the message. These politicians are heartless thieves, only a dumb person who doesn't value the future of his country defend them. Whatever allocation Fayose received during his time as governor is immaterial here, what is more concern now is how a governor recieve 50b intervention fund but only disbursed 4.5b to the victims.

So, where is the remaining 45.5b, because this money is not allocation but gift to the victims from federal government.

We all can see that Nigeria generating more revenue through taxation will only enrich politicians and won't reflect in the lives of the masses. Politicians are too wasteful, masses should not be under obligation to pay taxes to them because it will only end up in their private pockets in disguise of frivolous needless projects.

There was a lady who I have never met physically before other than Facebook and maybe twice when I have called her before.
At a point, she asked me to give her 3k. I can't remember what she wanted to use it for. I sent her 5k because I felt, it's just a help.
Maybe because we were able to establish a communication beyond 6 months, I couldn't refuse her request. I think this happened in 2019 or 2020

Also, I have a guy who we met on Facebook, I have never met him physically before. I have never called him before and he has never called me before. Our only interaction was just liking each other's posts and maybe comments.
When I was In 400 level, he asked me to loan him 4000 that he was going to refund. I sent it to him... After 2 weeks, he wanted to refund and I smiled and told him it was a gift.

If your Spirit feels obligated or oblidge to give or borrow them, You don't necessarily need to meet people before give.
But then again when I think about all these scenarios, I feel like am more of a giver.
I can't count the number of people I have gifted money online, they are plenty. Though mostly small amount but it meant so much to them by their profuse appreciations.

Although, people I don't know or meet online have gifted me money too on several occasions. A good amount of money, even withiout asking them.

Humans are egocentric by nature, they don't like begging others if they have enough to cater for their needs. They will rather gives to take the glories and respect associated with given. So if someone genuinely ask me for a little help, I put them in my shoes, the kind of emotional pains they must have gone through before they put shame aside to ask me for help. It is not easy to be asking for help or begging for money, that is why you need to show kindness even if you can't help the person that ask for it.

It is not always about scam, some are genuine, especially those ones you came in contact with by accident and not by romance or business deal. Life is very simple, If you ask me for money, I give if I can, but if I cannot at that moment, I will tell you in a responsible manner. It irritate me when some people complains about people asking them favour or turn it to a fight with them. Nobody can force you to do what you don't want to do, so if you don't have or can't help them at that moment, just tell them straight up instead of acting weird.

Young man, I really imagined myself in your situation and really I know how hard it must have been, living with this secret.

However, I need you to know that you've got no fault in all of these at all. Most times we have no choice to choose the kind of family we're born into born we are at full liberty to choose how we live.

Pls let this secret not harm your relationship or delay your own plans for your life. For now, tell your woman that your adopted father is your father and do everything accordingly.

Your woman will still get to know this secret years later but it's not advisable you tell her now because this is a woman and it's will be too early to tell her some things as sensitive as this until after some years together when you must have trusted her or her ability and maturity to handle some things.

Live your life, give your mother some gap (if possible, for your sanity) and never stop your care for your adopted father (as he's been in your life from childhood, at least, see him as your benefactor).

In as much as your biological father has not the boldness to step in and claim his son till you are grown like this signifies that he has always been part of the crime all along and he's enjoying the whole thing. So, live it at that. It is his headache with that of your mum and that shouldn't be your problem. But remember to let your mum know the effects the secret has had in your life's trajectory (that's if she's that mature to handle that. If she's not, please just keep quiet). Maturity has nothing to do with age.

Lastly bro, face your life, give very little attention to your biological father (because he's not really worth it. He tried breaking a home with no intention to follow it through), if possible, relocate from that vicinity or town you live with them and only relate from afar.

That way, you will live your life in peace devoid of distractions from any of them. Thank God you are a professional and can take care of yourself. That in itself is power!

All the best bro.
Why do you think the said man is even his biological father? A woman who is capable of sleeping with another man from her matrimonial home should not be trusted with a mere proclamation. Let him do a DNA test first, anyone between them can be father or even different person entirely.

If eventually he is the father, he must be sue and jail by law.

I understand you, I would exactly do the same tey tey, but the sad truth is, he can't stop relating with his biological father who didn't raise him.
By tradition, the tradition don't care who raised him, it cares more about whose blood he was made.
He just have to accept it and go with the both as his fathers. Infact I think bearing the names of the man who raised him up is enough to pay respects to the man who raised him , but he can't neglect his biological father based on tradition.
That was why I said he should acknowledge him as biological father and nothing more. Besides, there is no tradition or law in Nigeria that support a man who impregnated another person legally married wife and secretly doing a father duty to act as real father to the child. It is a punishable offence by law if the wife is legally married. Besides, the guy should first conduct a DNA test to ascertain the claim because he might not even be his son but someone else or even his present father.

It is quite unfortunate that he has an evil mother and unapologetic heartless sperms donor as real father. Let him do a DNA test first.

As a woman, do you think i should tell a girl i have been talking to for 7months? she told her parents about me and they are from a good home. I do not know what the reaction would be because she asked me if i had any childhood trauma and i said no.
If I should judge the situation fairly, I will put majority of the blame on you for keeping the secrete for too long

You don't need to burst the bubble again, just contact your biological father and call him the name he is. He is such a terrible person that you should not be dealing with, at least for now. I understand you might be too young back then to know the gravity of his abominable act by secretly taking care of you under your parents roof. Tell him you acknowledge him as your real father but the person you know since you were born will always represent you in life.

Warn your mother too, let her know that you can only acknowledge him as father but you have no business with his existence as regards to your life. You are now an adult with independent mind, and you should not let these two evil people drag you in the mud.

I think it is a good idea to recall ambassadors. Just shows they are doing the right thing by aligning their diplomatic representation with their administration’s priorities.

What does this mean for Nigeria?
It means no visa to enter USA again. Those already in US should not risk coming home this period o.

SportsRe: Why I Don't Greet Cristiano Ronaldo - Ngolo Kante by yemmit90: 7:28pm On Dec 17, 2025

It's enough, Ronaldo is talented but too FULL OF HIMSELF. Kante is a defensive midfielder and that's his job, TO TACKLE. Messi faced more brutal tackles against Pepe and Sergio Ramos and still made up with them.

Whether ON OR OFF THE PITCH, attitude is everything. What is Ronaldo playing that nobody has played before. All his goalscore is just because of the exceptional team around him and that's why even after leaving real Madrid, the team still went on to win multiple champions league.
Hundred of players has done the same, are they all arrogant?

Try to notice from now on, you will see that such spring attitude among players is not a big deal. Virtually all football stars has done the same. I have seen Naymar,Ronaldinho, Messi, Rooney, vin junior, etc did the same.
