SportsRe: Why I Don't Greet Cristiano Ronaldo - Ngolo Kante by yemmit90: 1:28pm On Dec 17, 2025
That is too petty from Kante. A player can get angry and refuse helping hands from opponents players during the game, and that doesn't mean they are too arrogant or disrespectful. A player should be judge by what they do off pitch than what they do during an emotional intensive match.
PoliticsRe: 2027: Tinubu Targets South, North-Central For Bloc Votes by yemmit90: 10:44am On Dec 14, 2025
mrvitalis:
Lmaoo there can never be southern block vote

South East would never vote Tinubu

South South would vote him the same way South West voted Jonathan in 2011

Middle belt never gives a block vote

If Obi accepts to take Vice to atiku Tinubu is done for.. He knows it.. Everyone knows it

Atiku should do the needful agree publicly to do one term that's all
That will be a suicide mission, Obi is better off contesting alone if he is to have a chance.

North won't vote for Atiku to spend just 4 years and send power back to the south, infact Atiku too can't make such promise with writting agreements. Aside this, majority of Southerners won't buy the ideas, particularly outside South East. If Obi and Atiku run separately, Tinubu will capitalise on their split votes like 2023 and emerge victorious. Besides, we all forgot that Tinubu too has his own supporters in millions despite the hardship facing by the populates.

My verdict; there is no path for opposition victory in 2027 base on the current reality. I can bet it 100% that with the defection of majority of governors, who has ability to rig when backed by federal power, no political strategy by opposition can remove him in 2027. At least 40% votes is guarantee from states helded by APC governors( aside 5 states from South east), which could still deliver 25% needed by them.

Are you aware that Wike won a governor with the supposed Federal might? You are not in Rivers State.
Lolz, APC governorship aspirants or candidate don't get federal backing under Buhari administration. The guy no send anyone but only his ambition. He only aligned with them during election of his own.

And you think Wike is in the black book of the president? This was how you people from Aba and its environs misled Fubara previously. You have started again. A Wike that has been able to turn South South to wholly APC and made PDP paper weight is the person you think Tinubu will trade off for Fubara? Who does Fubara know? Just dey play
You don't understand politics at all, Tinubu knows Wike is equally important, especially for Abuja abracadabra, but if he is to chose only an option between the two in Rivers state, he will definitely pick Fubara ahead of him. State governor backing by Federal power is more deadlier than individual withiout power in the state. Governor control virtually every institution in the state including his obvious loyalists in the state electoral commission. He can easily influence election results if backing by FG power. Tinubu is not daft, he knew once ADC are able to convince Fubara to their side, there is no way he can get significant votes through rigging from rivers.

Stop disturbing us with this senseless and tone deaf talk about "he should contest primaries". People like you who play the ostrich are the biggest problem.

Making noise all over the forum pretending like you don't know that contesting the primary means playing the corruption game with sleazy characters.. Bribing delegates with which money, just like your bat did. So Peter Obi should go against the very thing that his reputation is built on (prudence, accountability and squeaky clean corruption track record) just to please vultures like you?
At this point, how would you have advise Obi if you are his adviser?

U need a little sense top up. Wike that is completely in charge of APC in Rivers State. When you guys stay in the comfort of your Dot States you will be typing whatever comes to your fingers. From A to Z of APC in Rivers State is in Wikes hand. As it is today Wike has the loyalty of at least 55% of Rivers State electorates. I am not exaggerating.
With the governor in APC, he is automatically a leader of the party in his state. Remember Fubara is now among the men who are powerful and more politically experienced than Wike. Besides, APC has authoritarian leader in Tinubu who decide the faith of his party members where everything seem difficult for such members. Once he is in the good book of President, Wike is a gonna, and the power to deliver Rivers votes could easily be taking from him.

Wike is politically wounded both in APC and PDP, it's just a matter of time before the assembly members begin to re-align
Exactly, Tinubu will soon directed all of them to cooperate with their governor or face blacklist from the party. This is what he should've done when the fight between him and Wike just started, may be read one of my posts about the issue on Nairaland back then. Nigeria politics is a dirty game, Wike thought he was fighting Fubara with a genuine federal support, but fail to understand he is dealing with most strategist politician in Nigeria history. Tinubu understand the power of governor to deliver Rivers votes than Wike, he simply use Wike to bring Fubura easily to his side withiout having to promise him anything. That is political masterclass that Wike and other political can ever thought of.

PDP and Atiku fail him when he needed them the most, and I don't think they should bother about his decision to leave the party.

RomanceRe: Being A Single Man Is One Of The Best Things To Keep Happening To Me by yemmit90: 6:21pm On Dec 10, 2025
Drifter02:
Although I'm afraid I might die alone, nonetheless I still have to admit being single without any extra responsibilities- no kids, no wife - is one of the best things to keep happening to me.

I was talking to one babe just this evening.. telling her to come, I'll cook her indomie and buy her something soft and babe was smiling coyly and bro.. I was seeing the future and I didn't like it

The future of me getting the girl pregnant filled me with apprehension. Imagine, if the girl's pregnant and I had a kid on the way, I won't have no time for myself anymore, my soft life will no longer be soft, I'll always have to be worried about money, about not losing my job.. my happy life will now be sad and constantly apprehensive and all the ills that comes with having a girl pest on your life..

Omo.. married men, I'd like to say "I feel for you" but na lie.. because asides from enjoying constant puzi you knew what you were getting your asses into.. and I'm so glad I'm not you.. and in any case not all of you have money issues
If not for marriage/children, quite alot of men would've lives a more better and fulfilled lives. Responsible men are only born to work for their wives and children, the funniest thing is that, there is no guarantee they will stay with you at old age, most especially children.

However, there will be a time you will need a family to call yours. It is fulfilment of nature for a man to have his own family. You need to consider that please.
PoliticsRe: Military coups, insecurity: ECOWAS Declares State Of Emergency In West Africa by yemmit90: 3:11pm On Dec 09, 2025

There is no need for emergency, all these leaders should purge themselves. Most of them want to perpetuate themselves in power till death. Benin just change from 5 to 7 years. Alhassan Quatara is doing 4th term rather than 2. Most of the assemblies are puppets and rubber stamps. People are getting tired. There will be more coups, unless good governance. grin grin grin grin angry angry
Exactly, they should rather work on sit tight president who refuse to leave power for decades.

Though with this state of emergency, I doubt if there will be any more military coup in West Africa. Other countries must have learn from Benin Republic. They will just put a call, and external forces will overpower juntas and restored back the civil order.

Good day

i’ve had these black dots scattered all over my body since 2019.

it all started when i left home for a new town and i quickly developed these breakouts which since then have refused to clear off. i haven’t taken any serious steps towards them, but rn its getting out of hand.

its also on my neck and on my back too.
ps: i take my hygiene very seriously, bath 2x a day and also change my sheets frequently.

i need help.
The following might be the possible causes;

1. Cream or soap you are using.

2. Allergic reaction (Could be kind of water or a particular food you like to eat)

3. Your body is sensitive to mosquito or inserts bites. Or there maybe a particular insect usually bitting you.

4. Anemia or parasite in your blood stream, it could be a way your immune system is responding to its malfunction. Try some strong antibiotics, supplements and vitamins.

5. A result of underline serious health issue like cancer or HIV but I am confidence your is not because you must have seen an obvious sign of serious sickness before now.

And sometimes, it could be hereditary, some people are like that. So if you are not suspecting any of aforementioned causes as a cause, it could be natural.

A proper reading of the 1999 constitution shows that the president has the powers to deploy troops for limited combat without necessarily going to the National Assembly. Abubakar is just looking for an opportunity to be in the news.
I just dey read comments dey shook my head. It is quite unfortunate that this came from a so called educated lawyer.

This is not a full scale war or peace mission, it is called strategy intervention, and the president has absolutely power to act in such situation according to our constitution.

Even by moral standards, what would have be a result of their help at that emergency situation if they had to seek opinion of National assembly that may take days. Some people are just enemies of a good course.

PoliticsRe: First Lady Oluremi Tinubu Supports 250 PWDs In Ekiti With ₦200,000 Each by yemmit90: 4:49am On Dec 04, 2025
lilsmart:
I cannot support this initiative because distributing 200,000 naira a mere $150 is not empowerment but a token gesture that fails to address systemic economic challenges, this amount cannot even cover three bags of rice, let alone sustain families with extended dependents, and it offers oinly a temporary fix rather than the permanent solutions expected from such a high level meeting. Instead of short term handouts, I am disappointed that the First Lady did not leverage her influence to create lasting opportunities, such as introducing sustainable job programs or direct export linkages, which would have enabled genuine economic independence and meaningful progress for Persons with Disabilities.
Have you ever thought of the fact that there are limits to what people living with disabilities can do?

Majority of them are petty artesians or traders, with little or absolutely no dependants. 200k is small in this economy but will definitely add little value to what they are currently engage in. If this is doing consistently by government at various level, I think we will have fewer disabilities persons begging for arms on the road side.

The aim should be something more sustainable. Like a long term plan for these people. 200k cannot do much after a month.
200k each to people with disabilities moderately better as majority of them don't have dependents and majorly into petty trades.

2. Why should I waste my time doing any such when you can easily learn these things by making Google your friend? 🥱🥱

3. You are indeed Nigerian at your core. I merely pointed that out since it is obvious from, again, your mentality. 🥱🥱🥱
I knew you won't be able to answer those questions, you can see the difference between us now, you rely on Google to approach an issue, while I rely on real life situation or practical experience to do the same.

The earlier you understand that Google only bring people posts/opinions for you as answers (which in most cases could be wrong), the better for you. I have personally seen my posts numerous time on Google search, does that made me an expert or best answers to such issues?

If you can't take your time to get practical knowledge/experience from those who are concerned, you have no right to question my practical knowledge because you lack the same and only depends on others through Google( in which their opinions could be right or wrong).

Until you tell me what is wrong in thinking like Nigerian, or why do you believe thinking like Nigerian is bad, you don't have point but to keep wallowing in whatever thinking mentality you believe is right.

3. You are definitely yet another one of them close-minded Nigerians who do all that is possible to stay disconnected from the reality of things. grin
Ok if I could understand you very well, the guy cut off his family probably because of pains or maltreatment he went through during his childhood period?

Ok, If you say kids can abandoned their parents because of the way they treated them, can you highlight example of those bad treatments during childhood that could made someone abandoned their parents?

Lastly, is it a sin to think like a Nigerian when I am indeed a Nigerian?
