Over 5,000 beneficiaries of the YouWin programme have pleaded with President Muhammadu Buhari to intervene for the release of their seed capital to start their proposed businesses.


The beneficiaries of the YouWin programme, a federal government’s empowerment initiative, said since they were shortlisted for the YouWin Connect for the 2017/2018 segment, nothing has come to them.


In a statement in Abuja by Yusuf Hamza Maska on behalf of the beneficiaries, they said they had since written a letter to the president seeking his intervention.


“We, the beneficiaries of YouWin Connect 2017/2018 edition, humbly write you, Mr. President, to reiterate our ever readiness to employ our youthful energy and talents into useful ventures that will create jobs, create and recreate wealth to boost the nation’s economic development.


“Therefore, we solicit your magnanimous directive to the Minister of Finance for the immediate release of funds for our proposed businesses,” the statement said.


The statement said 61,000 Nigerian youths out of the 250,000 applicants ‎were invited for online training and assessment after the finance ministry issued a general invitation for the programme in 2017.


After the training, the statement said, 5,000 of them were shortlisted in December 2017‎ after passing the necessary tests, noting that they were shortlisted in three categories: the national merit list, the regional merit list, and the state merit list‎.


“Your Excellency, since then till now we have not received any positive information from the Ministry of Finance concerning the anticipated funding of our proposed businesses or even information on what have been delaying the progress of the program,” they said.

Until the government funds all winners of YouWiN connect, GEM (big portal) and BOI/Yes-p, this new so called empowerment program called P-Yes remains a scam! Quote me anywhere!!

All these intervention programs ranging from GEM (big portal), YouWin connect to boi/yes-p have one thing in common.

They are all failed programs set up with the aim of deceiving the gullible and stealing funds by government officials. As for this P-yes, only time shall tell. However, I'm not expecting anything different from P-yes just like all the intervention programs before it. Watch how this P-yes program will dissappear after the general election next year. If you know, you know!

What is the quantity to boil and in what proportion should we mix the solution?

As Christmas draws near, i know we have lots of novice poultry farmers here!

If your birds are passing brownish or bloody watery feaces (coccidiosis), boil bitter leaves in water and allow it to cool. Serve your birds!

In summary bitter leaf works like magic in the treatment of coccidiosis in poultry!!!

Abdulsalam should just relax. We know exactly how to handle ds politicians.

Come and market yourselves to us by telling us what you have achieved so far in the last 3 years. Don't bother wasting your time telling us what you will do if re-elected because dt concept no go work ds time ooo. This is 2018 and not 2015, our eyes don tear!

Poultry farmers i really need your input biko

Experienced poultry farmers, please i need your advice on this thread. Thanks in anticipation of your response.

A very good morning to you agrolanders,
I'm in the process of starting a poultry farm with 1000 point of lay (17 weeks old).

I intend to go for ISA BROWN breeds from CHI hatchery. Since chi hatchery only sells day old chicks, i ran a search on the internet and discovered that i could get my 17 weeks old point of lay from Poultry Plaza.

I'm also aware that the success of any poultry farmer depends on the source of your birds (hatchery) and the brooding.

I need experienced/practicing poultry farmers who have patronized poultry Plaza in the past to kindly confirm the quality and performance of laying birds bought from poultry plaza. This will go a long way in helping me make my decision.

I'm open to more valuable suggestions to enable me get the best point of lay birds.
