I just got a new job as an accountant in a medium company which I bless God Almighty for. But here are some of my challenges:

I am to resume work next week and it is just 2 months to the year end of this new company
they have an audited account for last year, and they have been keeping skeletal records, they had never had an accountant but they always manage their record keeping by one of their directors who has no sound knowledge of accounting and at year end their auditors will put their books in shape.

Pls as an accountant are their any formal steps I need to go through to have the account prepared fairly and have an easy external audit sail

@ orinalsty, I have got some fund that could take me and my family there but all am asking is the business that I can be doing there to get money.
If I was guilty, don't you guyz thing I will have gotten out of the country with the looth, why will I ever come here, its just the Nigerian police issue and the naija factor thing where the innocent suffer for what he knows not.

I hate to read people comment and asking the aggrieved if he has checked himself, perphaps maybe he was the cause of the matter. someone has committed fornication and u're asking to know the other parties contribution, its sounds annoying, let call a spade, a spade. even if the husband is a perfectionist or has fall short of some expectation does that give the wife the room to fornicate, what happened to marriage vows. Am sorry to say this; these days women fornicates more, I wonder why they can just ignore flirting men with sweet mouth, this men knows they're married but will still go ahead and rubbish them. @ why me, I understand your plight my brother, its a messy issue, and the thought of it, crazy, but this is my advice, give it more time because of ur daugther say like 2yrs, it may be rather too early to give up, its the devil at work and he needs be put to shame. its a had decision to take especially when it has to be a divorce, but for the sake of Christ our father and your daughter pls try ignore divorce for now. MY VIEW ABOUT THIS REAL ESTATE DEVELOPING COMPANIES.
I honestly think they're cows who are out to milk clients who have no experience of their biz. I wish to start a trend or topic on this so that we can all share our experience.

I am currently with one of them as a client and customer, I had finished my installmental payment of 550k, after which i visited the site, you need to see the site though it has a plan by them which of course is good on the long run but the area is so deep in mowe and under-developed.
the one that got me mad, was that they sent me another letter asking for developmental fee of about 400k apart from the 550k I had contributed thus far, meaning the total sum of a plot of land at mowe would then be about 950k to 1m, just land oh, we have not talk of the cost of its building or structure. If I am to buy the land from Ogun state Govt directly, it shouldn't be more than 80k at most for a plot, now see hoe much they're making per plot.

honestly they are out to buy people in, and with token contribution you would have been temped to become a cow to be milk any day. For now am so confused, their letter came with my survey plan and deed of assignment.
