Hello house. Just to ask some questions.
Will it be nice to use two kinds of window, sliding window mixed with casement, but well distributed. Say like use casement on the front and sliding in the side of the house.

The essence is to manage cost because sliding window is less expensive than casement.

I just concluded filling my house and set for flooring BUT my bricklayer wants another money to wet d filling with water to have it further settle for possible balance as there is still some laterite left. Again he wants another money for ramming before the proper flooring commence which has its own labour fees.

Please do l have to pay for wetting and then ramming after paying to spread d laterite ?

He is doing conduit piping after which we plaster then the plumber continue s with laying of external pipe to soak away. The sink n other assessories will be the finishing stage.

the prices are ok, but the list doesn't appear complete, when you say internal plumbing, you know it deals with laying of inside the wall.
if you will later do surface piping outside the walls of the house i.e. everything isn't conduit piping, it means you might need to add little material to the proposed items because I can't see or there are little of the following

2 inches piping ( for flood drain, kitchen sink, washing hand basin etc also bathtub if you are going to fix)
4 inches pipe for the toilet

another question is it hot and cold water system piping? It is only cold

if there isn't going to be any surface piping, it means you need to buy more stuff. Yes that will be the second stage. This stage is to enable us plaster d walls

The quote is fair enough but tell him to change all the 3x3 and 3x6 boxes to original dignity plastic box instead of galvanized. the price quoted is for plastic and not galvanise.

Those are practically all that is required. You may wish to add DPC membrane (thick nylon) depending on the kind of soil/land that you have plus wire mesh to further it.

Going by this new drop in rates by CBN, we need to carefully analyse what will likely happen next year with regards to rates.
My thought:
Cbn might be aligning with borrowing cost as referenced in d proposed national budget .so there's d need for us to study that budget
It could be that cbn in its attempt to free up d foreign exchange market next as rumored by aligning all markets to one n allow d interactions of demand n supply is reducing cost of borrowing in exchange for any surprises in d forex market.
It is also important to get n study cbn's budget with that of DMO.
I also believe all of this might be coming on d advices of d New National Economic team or advisory
