Today Chinese Technology brand Xiaomi officially announced the launch of three new smartphones in Nigeria.
Via an online launch event on Xiaomi official Facebook page, the company launched the Redmi 9, Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C in Nigeria. The launch started with features of the Redmi 7, 8 and 8A dual smartphones.

Redmi 9 specifications and price

Xiaomi Redmi 9 is an entry level phone that gives you more. It is designed with a brand and product promise of ‘MORE’, more performance, more battery, more speed, more display, more graphics and more of everything.

It is said to feature a 6.53-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2, 400 pixels) IPS display protected by corning gorilla glass with slpash proof.

Governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced plans to establish a N10 billion Lagos Aquaculture Centre of Excellence (LACE) project to be located in Igbonla, Epe under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) arrangement.

He also announced plans to build two food production centers namely; State Songhai project in Badagry and the Agricultural Training Institute, Araga, Epe. The LACE project is located on a 35 hectares of land in Igbonla.

The State Governor, represented by his deputy Dr Obafemi Hamzat announced this during the 2020 Agricultural Value Chains Empowerment Programme at Police College, Ikeja and named the project Lagos Aquaculture Centre (LACE).

He explained that the project is aimed at ensuring sustained food production and supply, resuscitation, expansion, stocking of agricultural production facilities in various value chains in the state. It was designed to boost the growth of aquaculture industry in the state through the direct production of 2,000 tonnes of fish annually.

It is a big one. Air peace ordered 13 of it last year. First one was to arrive second quarter of the year but I think was delayed due to the pandemic.

Air Peace’s becomes the first African airline to operate the ultra modern Embraer E195 E2 and the first to configure the premium cabin with the staggered seat option. The delivery is scheduled for the third quarter of this year.

According to a tweet from Embraer official handle, the Nigerian airline is the first African carrier to fly the E2. Air Peace first Embraer E195 E2 is already taking shape and wings added. All the aircraft comes in single configuration of economy class of 144 seats and dual configurations with 12-seater business class and 102-seater in the economy class.

This is the first of the 13 E195-E2 aircraft that was ordered last year. The wings and empennage on Air peace first E195-E2 has been joined to the fuselage. Watch the assembly video below.

Just a day after Former governor of Zamfara state , Abdul’aziz Yari disobeys Airport protocols at Port harcourt airport, a present governor has done the same.

The Management of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) hereby strongly condemns the conduct of the Governor of Adamawa state Alh Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, who arrived Port Harcourt international Airport aboard aircraft 5N-IZY, at 17:08 hrs on 14th July 2020.

He was with 8 others, and who flagrantly refused to observe the Airport Security and Public Health protocols as directed by the Federal Government through the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on #COVID19 by refusing to have his temperature checked, or being sanitised by the health officials.

His whole entourage of 8 did exactly as he did. The team that came to receive them drove right through the barricades up to the terminal building ignoring traffic and Aviation Security instructions.

This irresponsible act endangers all other airport users, it is unacceptable, and as such it has also been duly escalated.

FAAN hereby cautions all airport users, especially our esteemed VIPs , to please respect the Presidential directive by observing airport Security
and Public Health travel protocols put in place to protect all air travellers against acts of unlawful interference, infection and the spread of the covid-19 pandemic.

Thanks for the information about federal roads. Some call federal roads as state roads. With this we all can see the difference. This made me remember when i visited my grandma in the village after traveling for so long.
