OPPO Enco W11 design and body

The design of the Enco W11 comes in a pill like shaped and glossy white charging case with a LED charging indicator below the opening by the side and the USB type- C charging port at the back. The hinge of the charging case is made of plastic and might easily break if user is not handled carefully. The case is very easy to close because of the magnets attached to the hinge but quite difficult to open and requires two hands. The two earbuds also sit comfortable into the case while charging because of the magnets.

The oval shaped-earbuds are light to wear and sit comfortably in my ear. You can always change the ear tips to find the exact size that fits your ear. I was impressed with the way the Enco W11 earbuds sits comfortably in the ear during my early morning exercise, walking on the street, sleeping, riding on the bike without the fear of dropping them.

The wireless earphones according to Oppo is sweat-proof and comes with IP55 dust and water resistance ratings as well which means it can be used during work out sessions and other related activities. We recommend the device for work out sessions with less sweat but should not be used for swimming or during heavy downpour.

Using the Enco W11 touch control

To increase or decrease the volume press and hold the earbuds.

Voice assistant ( for supported brands and model only), it can be activated by tapping three times.

To play/pause, tap once

For next/previous track, tap twice

To answer/end a call tap twice.

To reset the earbuds, place both earbuds into the chat being case then press and hold the right (r) earbuds until the indicator flashes red three times.

Audio performance and connectivity

The sound quality for the Oppo Enco W11 is great especially when you play music simultaneously on the left and right earbuds. It comes with 8mm dynamic driver and support advanced audio coding ( AAC)/ sub band codec (SBC) which gives high sound quality and makes the performance great. The wireless earphones have two microphones on each earbuds.

The Enco W11 connects to supported devices using the Bluetooth 5.0 chip having a range of 10m. The Bluetooth transmits sound to each earbuds using a stable connection and producing great sound.

Calling with the Enco W11 didn’t really meet my expectation because I used it to call at different locations and interval to be sure it wasn’t affected by network. Yet it was difficult to hear sometimes and the caller couldn’t hear me easily. The harmonic sound you get because of the enhanced bass while listening to your favorite music and watching movies is wow!. The noise reduction is not the best but still does the work and I didn’t expect to get a perfect noise reduction with that amount the Enco W11 is being sold. I advice you always use the earbuds indoors to pick calls or in an environment not too noisy.

Battery life

The Enco W11 charging case comes with a 400 mAh battery capacity and the earbuds is 40 mAh.

According to Oppo after testing in the laboratory using an Oppo standard charger, after a single charge the battery of the earbuds should last 5 hours with 50% volume and 20 hours with the charging case. The charging time for the earbuds or charging the earbuds and case together is 2 hours.

My earbuds lasted for the first four hours with constant music playtime at 70% volume and it took me about 2 hour 30 minutes to charge the earbuds. The earbuds was charged three times using the charging case before it went low.

The LED light in front of the vase indicates the charging status and battery level. The green light indicates fully charged or almost charged, yellow light indicates at 50% battery level or below and red means very low which is less than 10%. The earbuds will only charge when they are both in the case with the lid closed

Pairing

Immediately I removed the earbuds from the charging case for the first time, it started pairing automatically with my iPhone XS Max. To pair device with the Enco W11, turn on your Bluetooth device and search for “OPPO Enco W11” then select.

Oppo also made the quick pairing feature available for only selected Oppo devices and models. For quick pairing hold your Enco W11 near the unlocked Oppo phone then follow instructions on the screen.

To turn off or put the earbuds to sleep, put it back into the charging case. Anytime you wish to pair with a new device, always disable Bluetooth feature on your present device for the earbuds to be available for pairing.

Verdict

The sound quality with enhanced bass is good coupled with an average battery life that last up to 4 hours which should be improved on. Noise reduction ,IPS5 rated water and dust resistance are my best features after using the Enco W11. You should buy one if you are looking for an affordable wireless headphone with the few limitations mentioned.

OPPO Enco W11 true wireless headphones sells for 18,000 naira on konga while on Jumia it is sold for about 15,000 naira and you can purchase it from any offline store nationwide.

Instagram rolls out “Recently Deleted”, a feature to help you manage your content. It allows users review and restore deleted messages , photos, videos, reels, IGTV videos and stories in the Instagram app.

According to the Photo sharing platform in a blogpost, the feature is also an additional protection to help prevent hackers that target Instagram accounts and delete posts you have shared.

“We know hackers sometimes delete content when they gain access to an account, and until now people had no way of easily getting their photos and videos back. Starting today, we will ask people to first verify that they are the rightful account holders when permanently deleting or restoring content from Recently Deleted.”

Delete any post on the app and it will appear in a separate section of your profile for 30 days. The post can’t be viewed by anyone except the account owner. It can be restored anytime within 30 days and any deleted content will automatically be permanently removed after the 30-day window. The feature is similar to the “recently deleted” folder in the Photos app on iOS.

How it works?

Photos, videos, reels, IGTV videos and stories you choose to delete are removed from your account immediately and moved to the Recently Deleted folder. The new Recently Deleted feature comes in addition to Instagram’s archive.

To access your deleted content, during those 30 days follow the instructions below:

In Instagram, tap on profile in the bottom right corner

Tap the three line icon in the top right corner and choose settings > account

Tap Recently Deleted

Choose the Photos, videos, reels, IGTV videos and stories you want to restore or permanently delete.

Users must update to the latest version of the Instagram app in order to have access to this new feature. The update is currently rolling out to Instagram users across all platforms.

Air Peace took delivery of a brand new E195-E2 from São José dos Campos in Brazil to Nigeria. It’s the first of 13 of the big E2s that the carrier has ordered. The Nigerian airline is the launch operator for the E195-E2 in Africa.

Air Peace is also the first airline to configure a premium cabin with our staggered seat option. Each of the 12 Business Class seats is slightly offset from the other to give more space and privacy. There are three rows of seats arranged two-by-two at 51-inch pitch. Passengers by the windows have unobstructed access to the aisle; they don’t need to awkwardly step over their seat mates or ask them to move.
There are large overhead bins on both sides of the aircraft. This is different from other configurations that have a narrow bin along one side of the premium cabin that transitions to a larger bin at the start of the economy cabin.

The new 124-seat E2s complement the airline’s eight 50-seat E145s flying with Air Peace Hopper. The Embraer fleet will create greater regional and domestic connectivity from the carrier’s Lagos hub.

The E195-E2 124-seat aircraft will complement the 8 ERJ145s in the fleet of its subsidiary, Air Peace Hopper. The Nigerian airline has also announced its route expansion from February 2021, to meet the air transportation needs of Nigerians. This builds on WhatsApp existing security measures today, which pops up a notice in your phone whenever a Web/Desktop login occurs, and the ability to unlink devices from your phone at any time.

The face and fingerprint authentication takes place on your device in a privacy preserving manner – by design, WhatsApp does not see your face or fingerprint data.
