Please those who collected their processed passports at the vfs office in Abuja, how long did it take from the day it was dispatched up to the day you were called for its collection?
I called vfs helpline and they are telling me it can take me two weeks to collect it when school resumes in a few days. Pls help

Yea, I am not doing a thesis based program. I did not tuition fee before applying for visa, I only payed the acceptance fee.

Hi, like I said, I finished with 3.29 and I got admission into the University. I guess you can also apply and believe that you can also be admitted.

I applied into the University of Waterloo and the admission process took exactly 3months although I was denied admission. I think it's only colleges you can get who's admission processes take less than a month. I know all friend who got admission into one of the colleges within 2weeks.

Hi guys, finally some news from CIC, i have just being called for medicals. Please those that did their medicals in Abuja, how did you go about it and how much was it? an urgent reply will be appreciated.

@Ymc007(f) thanks for the compliment. your experience of difficulty linking your application to an online account happened also to me.there are some details you ain't entering well. carefully fill those specified information as it appeared on ur permit form. pay attention to ur DLI,passport no,passport entry/expiry date,school resumption and end date, category-tempoary resident, sub category-study permit and study permit extention,et al..just carefully pay attention to details,i think it would be solved

i just noticed my mistake. thanks, i've just linked my application online. Nothing yet, at least i know its open [color=#000099][/color]

So while my application clocks 4weeks today, no email or text from vfs or CIC that they have even received my application. I tried linking my application online, it says "application not found", vfs tracking site says "my processed application has been sent to Accra. I ain't worried because I just know that God is in control . Keeping myself busy with other things although I still check my mail every now and then cause it's not on auto sync.
Guys, I know it's not easy but once a while try to take your minds off this thing and each time you remember it, just stay positive. Being worried will not hasten it, it will only steal your joy and make u nervous for no reason at all.

Don't mind them jere.....I think those CIC people sleep walk sometimes. Or maybe they like to play with our emotions. Chaii the emotional investment wey people get for this Canada visa ehn go fear you.

You will see people submit their application and after one week they will come to nairaland and be like "hello house I submitted my application one week ago and I have not received my medical call...what is going on did I do something wrong"

As if that one is not enough you will be seeing series of hot arguments on this thread on whether Canada is bigger than Ekiti state in Nigeria...who doesn't know durrr.

As if that one too is not enough..you will be seeing some people asking whether admission letter is part of the required documents for study permit. Chaiiii there's nothing person will not see in this thread.

VFS too will be dispatching passport indiscriminately without medical mail like say dem ancestors were messengers. I mean even if CIC sent you to return the documents can't vfs plead on behalf of applicants

If CIC is not careful self we will all stay in naija and do our masters or PGD..... I learnt they have wonderful PGD and masters programme at the university of Maiduguri.
