From all indications, JAPAUL has good and robust business, it has prospect, it's the management issue that is currently the major concern with the company.

I just believe if there could be reorganization, which I think the coy is working on, together with a catalyst (funding or bringing new investors on board), it should be able to deliver.......even if it's not now, in near future I Blvd.

The current bid is nothing compared to the big traffic it would generate when the time is right.
With its dredging activities, marine activities, channelling some efforts towards Lekki-Epe axis, offshore services, local disbursement of cabotage funds, Mining licences secured, etc.
Besides, it has just 6.2B as OS.

I was able to get 4.5m units of Japaul at 34k last week and intends getting 6m additional units, only if it comes low to 34k again. The attached extract from Japaul financial statement is the reason I intend to buy and hold.

Hopefully it comes down to 34k too.
@Loco, don't be in haste to sell your remaining JAPAUL, I won't show any pity this time around o.
I'm currently checking for more info too.....
Like I said earlier, JAPAUL is not directly into Oil & Gas but it renders offshore services to Oil & Gas; is into dredging and also mining of mineral resources.

Oil & Gas service companies also benefit from oil & gas sector's boom in terms of increased activities and revenue.
Q2 result should throw more light on this.
Dredging is already fetching them money.
*More checks to be done.

**Caveat: This post is strictly for Japaulians.

Maybe the offshore business and renting of vessels will favour them now.

From time, I don't think JAPAUL has been involved directly in oil business but renders services to oil coys or so.
The dredging biz has been the major source of income together with offshore services.
Needs to update myself on its operations again.
Will try and check.....you too can check.

Buhari Govt wasn't serious at all. Doesn't take them anything to take the Gold mining serious but they prefer to steal what's already on ground and allow the Chinese to mine the mineral resources and carry the funds/proceeds away to develop their country.

Things has been so bad that Nigerians can't avoid these initial pains, but gradually, it will be easing off hopefully. We should just be supporting him with prayers.
At least things are looking up, he's well grounded/knowledgeable in the areas of àdministration, economics, finance and accounting.
There's hope for the market. We pray God use him to right many wrongs.

We don't know the forces/factors holding Total down, it has been struggling for a long time despite the good results and positive news.
Even during the SEPLAT time, it refused to shake body.
Wonder what the likely issue is......but if my ogas said it's a matter of time, then we keep hoping.

I still think this is a "where there's smoke..." situation.

It may be wise for those with huge $ holdings to shave off some of it. Buy back after the rate merging is complete. Tinubu has said there will be a single rate and that will happen in the near term. Rates fell as low as 705 in the black market amidst the panic. It's back up right now. But this is a prelude.

It could also be that some are converting Dollars to Naira and taking position in NGX...
If some of these policies are implented or start taking effect, Dollar biz may witness serious decline...
With subsidy removal, Naira may begin to appreciate against $$....so, before $$ starts losing value, they're already being smart with it.
