emmanuelewumi:Boss, just be bold enough to admit you were talking to Mcy and Loco. All the pointers are there! And I've just been trying to ignore your comments because of the respect I have for you. |
locodemy:No o. It's Loco and Mcy that are using billions to manipulate all the stocks at the same time. Not only Kobo stocks self, I also use billions to manipulate FBNH, CONOIL and other stocks at the same time. FBNH paid just 50k as dividend and is trading ahead of ACCESS and UBA, Mcy or Loco must have been performing the magic as well. God even detest ungrateful souls. |
Streetinvestor2:You guys should just speak in plain terms, mention names and stop all these indirect attacks. No need to speak in parables if you want your concerns addressed. When things are moving in your favour, no one will hear pim from you. No single word of commendation either, but when odds are against you, you're quick to blame. As if NGX is Nsempa market. ![]() |
emmanuelewumi:....With many tickers in green anyway. I think it's showing negative because the big caps didn't appreciate in price. |
NewBola:While no one can categorically say anything around this time or what the direction of market may be, I think both are also unique in their own ways. I think if FIDELITY moves, then there's possiblity of mvmt for the two as well. However, they're currently trading high in price, so it's better to tread the path of caution. |
locodemy:Lol. Billionaires wey no dey make impact. Even Otedola self still dey make impact in the life of masses as well as fellow billionaires. ![]() Nsempa billionaires are like police. ![]() |
locodemy:Lol.. ![]() They're not noisemakers like us.....awon silent billionaires... ![]() |
There's much volume in Transcorp today and in many of the stocks.....Zee, GT, CONOIl, etc, with billions spent.. |
NewBola:In my opinion, I'll say hold on for now......both are in same category... |
locodemy:Yes. But sometimes we still need to let them see what they want to see while Mr. Market/news/sentiment handles it their own way. ![]() I rest my case jare. |
BullBearMkt:Boss you're right! I'm also one of the beneficiaries of GT @16.80, 17 & 17.20. What I mean is that traders don't wait and have such patience as investors. We must be able to differentiate between the two..... whosoever want to invest must have tripple dose of patience. However, I still repeat, some investors needs to change their mindset towards some stocks.....that a stock dealt with you in the past is not enough to be rubbishing them all the time. They cant continue to live in the 18th century. Market also thrives on sentiments. |
ositadima1:Osita, there's no one way to stock movement. You could buy high and the stock will still go higher. See the case of CONOIl, MRS, FTNCOCOA, etc of recent.......when we thought FTNCOCOA already peaked, @93k or so, it took off again to circa 1.80. While we think CONOIL already peaked @35+, it went further to 86; what of Guinness, and others in that category? Even if Lasaco is picked @2.70/2.80, it's still cheap if we consider the financials and the share price of its peers. Imagine WAPIC trading @94, even SUNU touched 50k or so, then Lasaco is trading @58k as at today's closing price. So, sometimes, the market can be irrational and the way people rubb.ish insurance stocks here is appalling. If I had mentioned Cornerstone when it started moving, they would have rubbish.ed it, but see it's Q1 alone, it made over +800% in PAT if I'm right, yet we want such stock to remain at 20k? This same Lasaco was rubbish.ed at 90k, but eyes opened when it delivered over +200%. Same thing with MANSARD. |
Dammlonge:As dem call me say I get case to answer for Nsempa, na im I rush come....🏃 As I saw you post I said to myself: Ghen! Ghen!! Mcy you must learn by force for this platform. God pls don't allow my enemies in this forum to rejoice over me IJN. ![]() * First of all, Im your pikin o. * 2ndly, it's Lasaco you mentioned. * 3rdly, I think you panicked because you're a new comer and possibly new to investing. * That a stock lose doesn't mean something is wrong with it's fundamentals, that's just market for you......bearing in mind that the stock you picked @2+, has been bought at some point... @81k, 90k, N1 by someone else who entered much earlier or when the stock was down in the market......if those set of people sell @2 or 2.34 or thereabout, they are pocketing over +100% profit, doesn't mean it's the end for such stock. - For instance, some investors bought GTCO as high as N34 naira sometimes last year or so or 2021, GT fell all the way from 34 down to N16.80 before it started reversing up again....and we know where the share price is now. It can only take an investor to remain calm in such situation....while traders must have jumped out with some hair-cut. * In this market, stocks goes up and down. More reason knowledge is required in trading, even if it's basic knowledge.....and, for newbies, we often emphasize on "investing" instead of trading. Buying at bargain price is also emphasized. * As it is now, please do not panic, do not sell in haste or at loss. What you're seeing is paper loss, which can reverse back to gain when the price goes up again. * Also, dividend payment is coming, just try and download APEL Registrars E-Dividend Mandate form, fill and scan back to APEL Registrars. * Another strategy to use is averaging down if you still have some funds, don't be in haste, let the shedding bottomed, when recovery is sighted, you buy more to average your cost price down. * Like I said, that's Mr. Market for us. It has a mind of its own. Lasaco shouldn't be trading less than N3. ** Pardon me for the epistle* ![]() |
Mfunkynation:Not all.... Some are still going up, some fighting back while some are on red... There are bids for fu.ga.z and some of these banking stocks......I use them as yardsticks mostly... There are still volumes generally... Still watching anyway.... *FBNH/ZENITH/ACCESS/F & F: Still holding up...... * MRS @79! Up with +N5.... * Volume in Japaul... |
Toluway:Lol. ![]() Thanks Uncle Tolu. ![]() |
talk2me2:It's working. You may logout and login again |
veecovee:Lol. Its okay sir. But let's just be on the lookout for the acquisition rumour too. @Customstreet kindly provide link to this if you have any, let's do more findings as well. |
Geovanni412:If you say so. ![]() As for direct payment, you must have opted for Direct Cash Settlement with CSCS. It usually comes with account moved from one dead house to active one. You can request for a DCS Form from your broker and indicate "NO" in appropriate column, then scan and send back to them with CSCS in copy. Except it is the applicable mode to Investone. |
Frangel:But UNITY is getting attention @1.22...... Any offer brought at that price is picked..... Just an update from observation. Not any form of advice.... |
IHelp:Lol. Similar pattern of posting..... ![]() |
veecovee:Pastor what did you see in JAIZ? Just one day sell off? Well, it stabilized this early hours so far.....we see how it goes.... *Updated* Jaiz support could not hold......further sell off to 1.38* |
FBNH @16.50 earlier.... Onvtop 50k.....Nothing wey these billionaires no fit do...,... they're just bent on pushing it up..... ![]() |
Geovanni412:You're also a staff......from your posts and write-ups. ![]() |
Mpeace:815 was intra-day but still closed @763. Don't know why they didn't clarify this. Some people just want everything to collapse but God won't allow that. We can't expect everything to be fixed and take shape so quickly like that. |
CONOIL closed @86. 50 today!! I just saw it in the price list.....up with +7.50! I was surprised ... Wonders of NSE. GTCO: over 1.4B spent today again... It doesn't seems like the euphoria is done yet. It's well. |
CircleOfWilis:Also monitor the trend on JAIZ to some extent, thought it will reverse but it didn't....could be due to a news or so... Will observe the trend again tomorrow and if it doesn't change, then it may be time for you to apply stop loss. Risk of picking stocks at high prices. My ogas will say we should stop pursuing molue wey don leave car park.......though not in all cases.. * Let me add this: Hope you know you didn't lose unless you sell? The loss you may see is paper loss. I don't always encourage selling at loss. You may just need to add more patience to your patient ni. Another strategy could also be employed to minimize any loss. - Who knows, it may just be activities of profit takers' or those directors accumulating on the inside..... the trend may reverse up tomorrow again. |
yeddy99:While some people may make use of the bull opportunity in market to pump and dump some stocks, I don't generally see the current bullish trend as out of place. Reason being that there are lots of positive factors driving the market......new govt, change in govt policies, perceived favourable policies on forex, etc. Also, if we consider the profitability of our stocks compared to their share prices, then they are cheap, and at one point in time, there bound to be price correction, which I think it's what we are witnessing now. For those buying at high prices, it's high risks taking. May favour or go otherwise. The thing is to cut losses by applying stop-loss in such stocks. More reason it's risky to recommend stocks when the prices have gone up. |
Someone or an entity is busy pumping Goldbrew.. Let's be careful of the penny stocks we're trading and know the reason for picking whichever you're picking... *My take* Daarcoms, Afromedia, Deap Capital: Be careful o. ![]() If you're a newbie, don't let them dump their kaya on you. Those stocks are moribonds and have not traded in many yrs. Lots of accumulation in STANBIC!? |
bibs4all:If you can get Lasaco cheaper, you can buy.... *Edited* I still feel bullish on it. I have my reasons. Though may not be generally accepted by all but pick some. *After the reconstruction, the total outstanding shares was reduced to 1.834B * Out of the 1.83B, only 870.8M is for free float representing 47.50% * Other %, 59.65% are in the hands of the substantial shareholders and networth individuals. * Lasaco is one of the core insurer of Lagos State; Lagos govt has stake and interest in the Coy. * At N2.69, Lasaco is presently trading@0.67k and is paying a dividend of 0.15k (even if split into 4, it's still trading at a yield of more than +5%). * 2022 fye was very good, Q1 was solid * If Q2 should come out fantastic, then it shouldn't be trading below N1, i.e. N4 in near future. * The Federal arm, BAT regime may favour the coy much more, with Sanwo-Olu as Lag govt. * If Sovereign Trust could be selling for 0.61k without dividend, then I don't see Lasaco selling at same price as STI. If you're for investing: Pick UBA or ACCESS OR, *preferably, hold your money for now* **Caveat: Nobody should crucify me o. That's my take on it. Sentiment also matters in this market. DD applies* ![]() |
megawealth01:I've seen quite a lot of recommendation on IB... Can you pls shed more light on the "goodies in the bag" so we can also do DD? IB rally is not something we are expecting so soon, is it? |
NewBola:Except you're for long term and have funds to stake on other stocks aside it. UPL is very illiquid and can tie your money down for long. Besides, it trades in range... Except the management decides to give out mouth watering dividend for the last financial year (ended in March), then, I'll say, look elsewhere.....but if bouyant and have deep pocket, wait for it to come below 2, then buy. *Pls note that this is purely my opinion. |
Zagee:Well done sir. ![]() Were you not the same person that replied when it was mentioned as another 'corruption' here? Guess it was selling at 60/70k or so that time... Can't lay hands on the post now. |
