MizMyColi:Not trying to break rule 1. I willl just smile. Welcome to Politics. Change you need it. Sorry poster. Am off |
Fayose dug his grave and he will surely lie in it. He broke all the Yoruba rules of reverence for elders, low profile, love and conformity, arrogance and pride. He abused the gods, kith and kin. Now he is all alone with his backer and chief law breaker sent packing to his village. Yoruba people have already consigned him to the dust bin and he will get no reprieve. He will be impeached, tried and sent to jail where all thugs belong. Power is transitional, so take easy. Yoruba people will say, "ile nyo 'yan, te jeje" The ground is slippery, step lightly. |
The office of the president of nigeria is a serious job which from all indications Goodluck wasnt as up to the task. He is not a fit and proper person for the Job. The Peoples democratic Party is in denial, dazed, shell shocked and unashamedly playing the ostrich. when you join the scrap heap at the end of may 2015, we the people will ask very serious questions and we will demand immediate answers. if you can not do the time then dont do the crime. the people have sent a very powerful message. Goodluck jonathan was in office but not in power. Power was in the hands of the cabal headed by four women, patience jonathan, deziani, ngozi and abuah. Others are the very few very selfish, very self centred and always drunk, so called militants, etc. Goodluck jonathan was just coasting along and just enjoying the spoils of office, behaving and acting as a president for these very few persons and not for nigeria. Now the people have spoken and are with the very last laugh, which is sweet and loud. Vox Populi Vox Dei Qed |
Mynd44:Lol!! Good reply. Also i think under the BPP acts there is a law against such amount regarding, civil construction. ( i stand to be corrected ) In essence i support you, he his lying to himself |
Demburrows:Without a doubt that the two arrows represent 75 years. Occultists use numerology a lot…..the Illuminati certainly does. If you add the numbers on the tallest arrow up 11.5=7 the next arrow is 11.3=5 that stands for 75. That is 75 years. That takes us back to 1940. The arrows point towards Alice's feet. Then directly behind her is a baseball. So what is Alice known for? She looks through a looking glass. 1940 was the year of the first televised baseball match. Also it was the year that Winston Churchill took office (we can see him directly above the arrows at the top of the page. Churchill was one who called for a New World Order.Winston Churchill October 11 1950, "The creation of an authoritative, all-powerful world order is the ultimate aim towards which we must strive." 1940 also saw the establishment of the Auschwitz concentration camp ( among other things). Notably Hitler also called for a NWO "National Socialism will use its own revolution for establishing a new world order." (Adolf Hitler) |
A few things that I noticed that were not mentioned in the article. 1. near David Cameron, there is a piggy bank flying. This brings to mind the common phrase, "when pigs fly." Does this mean that something will happen to the banking system that we once thought impossible? A world currency perhaps? I could be reaching. 2.. The painting is "La belle ferronnière" by Leonardo Da Vinci. It is sitting on a pile of dirt. It is in the Louvre in Paris. Perhaps this is hinting at the fall of Parisian culture, tradition, or influence. There is a lot going on with the radical Islamists in France. It may also be hinting at the fall of Western influence in general or perhaps the burying of the past for the sake of the future. 3. Most of the world leaders seem to be wearing red, pink, or purple, excepting the Chinese and Indian leaders. Does this mean that they will be influenced by China (red flag)? 4. Napoleon is featured. This painting is a famous portrait from Jacque-Louis David. It prominently features the hidden hand, which is talked about in another article on this site. 5. The Chinese officer in the back is wearing a dust mask and is directing traffic in Harbin, China in the midst of extreme smog caused by Chinese industry. This is indicative of the horrible pollution in China which is killing their people. The increase in Chinese power comes at the cost of Chinese citizens. Finally, there are two disembodied hands on the left and the right. The left one is giving the victory sign (as opposed to peace) since it is near Winston Churchill. The right one has an open hand (possibly belonging to Hilary Clinton). With its proximity to Napoleon, perhaps it is the revealing of the hidden hand. |
Amazing it is as to how time can change things! I imagine that the police would be cautious the way they treat Rotimi Amechi in Port Harcourt henceforth. Even Mbu would not dare repeat in Lagos, his threat to shoot civilians. Anybody Uniform Man / lady who misuses his /her power will have themselves to blame. Gone are the eras of impunity. Gone are those days of 9>16. Gone are the days when a governor will beat up a judge, and still remain as Governor To the Police or Army official any of you who fails to perform his constitutional duties as outrightly enshrined in the law would be punished, change has come where all nigerians are made to live by rule of law. To be forewarned is to be forearmed. Let everybody be guided by his/her Constitutional roles. A word they say is enough for the wise. |
If i get you right, your questin is if the Naira can be madr to be at Par with the Dollars ( i.e $1 = N1 ) and how? Contrary to many believe that its impossible, it is actually possible. History has it that Way back in 1978, $1 = 65Kobo. Today, $1 = N198 at the Parralel Market ( black market as at yesterday ). DECIMALIZATION Many believe that by re-basing or predominating the naira, the naira can be at par with the dollars (e.g $1 = N1). This however possible, has disastrous effect that can lead the economy to a halt, the solution is by first doing things that will favour the economy growth and development. The things that can be done are as follows; 1. Re-Viewing the Trade Agreements All trade agreement with external parties or countries should be reviewed in other to determine the level as to which they serve our purpose(s). 2. Home Grown Economics People fail to understand that, at times even policies taken from Harvard cannot solve our problem, like a Nigerian saying goes " Na person wei ant bite know where e dei pain am ". All am trying to say is that we must jettison the foreign solutions which are been given to us by international bodies like the IMF, World Bank etc. Solutions created by these bodies do not share sentimental attachments to our problems; they neither see it nor feel it; at best they can only scratch at the surface and that is what has been happening. It does not make any sense for us to strive to make surpluses in our foreign reserves and place same in the hands of foreigners to manage for us; their loyalty is first to their country that sponsored them to the positions at World Bank and IMF. This is why I have been against NGOZI OKONJO IWEALA or any WORLD BANK / IMF staff in handling sensitive positions such as CBN Gov or Min of Finance positions. We must see reasons as to why we should be realistic with our situations, not over-rating our capabilities and been careless as to how we deal with our resources; We must start by itemising things which are paramount to the survival of this nation and those which are not. 3.. Substitute Goods. Too many fake and unwanted goods have flooded this country, let us put a halt to that. The cause of our naira decline is that, our naira cannot match the demand for foreign goods coming into this country. So, when these non-essential items are put on the prohibition list, the burden on the naira will start coming down. In essence I mean we should start producing many things we know we can produce ourselves and use them. I see no reason going to America to get an SUV when you can get one from INnoson, I see no reason going to China to get Plates and spoons, when we can produce them locally. 4). We must encourage local Manufacturing and exportation of this locally manufactured goods. In those days we exported Groundnut, Cocoa and Rubber, palm kernel. But today we import nearly all these stuffs. I for one just imported Groundnut Oil from China, its bad I am killing the naira. This should be stopped. I am still angry today as to the death of Hitv, its high time we follow the China way, let's discourage foreigners as competitors, we should develop before they come in. We should go for DaarSat before Allowing MultiChoice. We must encourage appropriate pricing for all of our local products, both raw materials or finished productions; in addition, the local content initiative must be intensified 5). Prevent throwing our currency at foreign Nations / Repatriation Of Funds An epitome example of this is the educational sector, its saddening to see trillions of naira thrown out yearly in the name of education in countries like America, Ghana, South Africa etc. If our education standard is properly harness and standardise, there will be no need for all this wasteful spendings. Good health care system been out in place, if this is done the rush overseas for medical consultations will be brought to an end. Repatriation of funds deposited abroad has to be carried out, no matter what it cost sacrifices has to be made. For every idle funds we place in foreign accounts both by government or individuals, we do harm to the value of our naira. In conclusion, The task of shoring up the naira is a collective one and begins with us abiding with the above laid rules. Note that the above laid guidelines are not exhaustive. |
Typing Good one from the Oba. A tribe that cant get her leaders into power should not be given the chance to destroy the opportunity of other tribes who are willing. The oba is not scared he has spoken. Take note!! He his an Oba not an Obi ![]() |
Typing.. hahaha !!!!!! Since I have notice TB Joshua, I have know one thing about his prophecies. They are always Vague, Illusory and inconclusive. I dare anyone here to show me a prophecy he made that is not as I have stated. This too me is one of the success of Prophecy trick, make it 1. Unclear 2. Probability See in all T.B Joshua prophecies after saying some unclear stuff he will then say, and I quote " Let us pray hard, so that this can be adverted. " then you hear the church choir shout Emmanuel. Now the implication of this means that, if it does not happen, they prayed hard, if it does they didn't pray hard it was how god told him. Meanwhile he never comes out to clear, rather than say " Jonathan will loose the election " he will begin some parables that are meaningless. I think its time I become a prophet too! Joke Aside, you don't need a prophet to tell you Jonathan would loose the election. |
What's all the noise about trifles! Jonathan isn't the first person to hand over power to another government peacefully, for God's sake. General Obasanjo handed over to a civilian government, peacefully in the 70's. As at that time it was a shock to both Nigerians and foreigners at large, as this was not practise even in some foreign nations at that time. But to nigerians suprise, a military ruler with unlimited power handed over to a democratically elected government as promised. This earned obasanjo the global respect till date. Second in nigeria's history to have towed Generl Obasanjo's path was Abdulsalam abubakar, he organised transition within 6 months, and handed over to a civilian government. He also achieved this with peace. GEJ's case would have been a different tone, if not for the exerted pressure on him both nationally and internationally. Infact Despite the defeat, his cronies still went to Kano to set the REC officer ablaze in the dawn, killing him and his family in the inferno. They also went to port Harcourt to kill some apc chieftains. i think they may be heading for lagos next. This story is incorrect. Our people say " However you try to clean a pig, it remains only a pig " In summary Jonathan lost the election pure and simple. He had no choice rather than starting a war, but to concede defeat |
![]() I didnt even recognised her. Truly they are scared of the peoples General. I can't just wait. There are over thousands of people that occupy seat / position in which they should ordinarily not occupy on a normal day. Whenever I hear marilyn ogar talk, I ask myself how she got to that post, as her statement are always unguarded, un-checked, childish ( e.g She said APC hacked into Inec server and the sole evidence she had ro proove this was just flash drives, found at APC DATA CENTER. Lol! ) and should not be uttered by someone in her position. Anyone in her organization ( DSS ) and Office as the spokesperson is expected to withhold statements until all facts are clear, datas checked and cross-checked before any information is passed on to the populace but she was clearly the opposite of this. She just recites what illiterate police men and soldiers tell her. She made the DIRECTORATE OF SECRET SERVICE a laughing stock, belittled the organization to par with the police. Well what excuse can she give than for me to say what a man can do a woman can do better. My comment is just stupid. I know it qoute me at your peril |

I agree |
vladimiros:Its the internet and thats why you tye this way without going through all wht you said. The internet is a powerful tool no doubt. A forum where everyone can go and vent their frustrations, thats what the internet in nigeria has become. and I respect the guts. One thing I still don't seem to understand from the apparent "rag-tagged-treasonable fellons" is whom are they against, President Jonathan, Foreign Oil Investors, Federal Nigerian Government, the state government, PRESIDENT ELECT (GENERAL MUHAMMADU BUHARI ) or All the aforementioned entities ? Secondly, i though these rogues where all disbanded nd their weapons drstroyed or collected under the AMnesty deal, where did they of a sudden begin to get their supplies and have they peruse over and over again if their sudden actions if not embarked upon destroying installations and the pipelines protected would yield them dividend, assuming territorial owner? If their actions re been fueled by anger for the loss of their brother from the recent election, or by prominient Niger deltan defunct politician who want might be bent on making the adminatration of the incoming govermnent intolerable. what's their assurance that all their actions would give expectes results? cause i heard a General is in town. My advice to these misguided folks is to take a clue from the Mexican theme on Peace Accord: "Zapatta". Finally, its time they know that taking arms against their Fatherland and recognising it as their viable way of settling scores and calling attention to injustices or showing support for the loss of their brother against the opposition is no solution ? As these might be disastrous when the army of the general retaliates, leading to csualities. Life they say has No Duplicate and Dead People Don't Speak !. A wword they sy is enough for the wise |
In Sane / Developed / Normal Country, the aggregate of Alisson Madueke misdeeds is enough to send her or any serving public office holder packing. In France, a former president, Nicolas Sarkozy, was tried for receiving money illegally to fund his party’s campaign. Nigeria should also be a society where anyone, regrdless of status or calibre is subject to our laws. In New Jersey, USA there was wonderful system the used in nabbing 75 crime syndicates from Nigerians in Europe, Asia and America within 30 minutes.Though the system is only for intelligent Consumption. In Spain ex-convicts makes the best cops. In Nigeria we have to develop an inhouse system which i do like to call the Nigerian system to win the fight against the indelible Corruption. Corruption has never been so brazen and sickening in the country as in recent times. Regularly, fresh nerve-jangling allegations of venality in public office assault the citizens. Unfortunately, the parliament, as usual, may just make futile noise about this outrageous case, as many of such probes have been prematurely interred in its burial chamber. I believe that post may 29, when the General must have assumed office, all this water of corruption must have been blowed out by the Hurricane Wind of Change. Fear not the General is coming. |
Aww so sweet. Just look at the people and see the joy in them, just seeing the Vice President Elect alone. Huw much more when the General takes over. Or when the incoming administration kicks off. Rivers of joy and happiness. Am so happy like they are. APC for life www.nairaland.com/attachments/2280177_ao4_jpeg8996ab8183e2cdc070a4641d8a77bd72 |

Macelliot:It doesn't mean I should generalize a set of people due to the action of a few |
It baffles me as to how people celebrate mediocrity / mediocals. Its now a norm in bayelsa state for the below average performing leaders to be heralded and celebrated as great rulers. Same bayelsa state some years ago during Obasanjo adminstration, Alameiseiha former Governor of bayelsa state was given a heroic welcome party by the people of bayelsa state after he escaped interpol arrest in both France and UK dressed as a woman. Now another bayelsa son who is well known to have performed below par or standard and have been butted out of office by the wind of change as shown by the masses is about to be celebrated again. Bayelsans never learn, that the history have a way of shaping our future. This event has bad moral as it will go a long way in serving as a means of succcour to any bayelsan failure in future. When such son is failing or has failed he will say " My bayelsa people will throw me a welcome party for I have done well" I would tag this as a case of the Prodigal Son and its bad moral. A word they say is enough for the wise |
